At £1.50 for a doughnut I would live liked more jam - not even a teaspoon full Tasty but a bit dry due to the lack of jam

We stopped in Lauder on our way to the Borders hoping for a coffee at the Flat Cat gallery. It was shut but we got some excellent take away coffee and cakes from this bakery just down the street. Both the barista style coffee and their freshly made cakes were really very good, reasonably priced and came in eco friendly bio degradable cups. Cannot speak too highly of this rural artisan bakery, well worth a detour.

Bought some very good bread here during our short stay in Lauder. Friendly place . Hope to be back at some time soon .

Bought bread and cakes whilst staying in Lader, absolutely delicious products. Everything freshly made, wish it could be this good from the supermarkets!

Amazing fresh bread, baked every day. We always get a sourdough baguette and their homemade donuts are a new favourite! Everything is delicious though. Lauder is lucky to have this wee gem.

Stop off here regularly when traveling upto Edinburgh or visiting friends in Lauder. Gorgeous pastries and cakes. Very good quality and not greasy like others. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Myself and the other half were out for a drive decided to stop in Lauder we purchased a cheese salad roll ,mince and potato pie ,two fruit slices absolutely superb . The lady could not do enough for us .

Everything is so tasty and so fresh. Great to stop and get a great range of cakes bakes and much more.

Formerly the Lauder Bakery, this has recently reopened as the stylish Firebrick Bakery and is serving delicious and tasty artisinal loaves, cakes, and a range of other produce including Abernethy Dulse & Sea Salt Butter. Their brown loaves are some of the tastiest bread I have ever had. I am beyond happy that they are located in Lauder! Yummy tuck!
