Under new management, because they have newly opened, they cook to order. There battered Fisk was crisp, large white flakes and not greasy. Took 8kins from placing order to enjoy a fantastic fish supper. Nice chips also. At this time they are only taking cash, but have plans for card payments.

Pedí el filete de Filadelfia y los submarinos de pollo Rotisserie El Pollo Rotisserie no lo clasificaría como Pollo Rotisserie sabía más a pollo enlatado. No me gustó en absoluto. Definitivamente no volvería a comprar. El Philly Steak era agradable y realmente no ha cambiado, pero era bueno. La galleta estaba bien, no tan bien como recordaba que estaban. El Restaurante no estaba muy limpio pedí que me limpiaran la mesa y la mujer que le pregunté que trabajaba allí me ignoró completamente y no limpió la mesa.

We arrived on sunday 2 july, around 19:20. Signs outside told that the restaurant was open for dinner. Inside it was rather crowded. We asked for a table for the two of us. The inexperienced waiter went away to ask and came back with the message that there was no seat available, however it was clear that some people in the restaurant were ready to leave. No excuses, it just looked as if the kitchen personnel would like a early day off. Outside we met 2 people that were sent away 10 minutes before. This is not the way we like to be treated, unworthy to be called a restaurant.

Went to Wheelhouse for our 35th wedding anniversary, wrong choice, had a drink in the bar, before moving into the restaurant which is very dated, quite a few people eating, we decided on the 1 course 4 meat carvery, served by Mark in a baseball cap who looked like he didn't want to be there, cut all the meats with the same knife, vegetables were awful roast potatoes (frozen ones) in the same tray as the chips, beef tough, not worth £15-95. Young Waitresse's were efficient. With drinks a total of£61 We will not return

Very old bar where all heads turn when you walk in. Two young waitresses at behind the bar at the kitchen door, one chewing her fingers. We approached one to see if we could have lunch. She sat us through in the restaurant. Terrible space! In desperate need of a refurbishment. Wall lights missing, stains on the walls, bugs in ceiling lights, mfr radio blaring, chair material hanging off, lonely dirt vase sitting on a window ledge. Lg Sign on the wall asking you to oder and pay for drinks at the bar. That's the last place I want to go back too. Waitress came over and gave us a board with an evening menu on and a pensioners menu. I asked her for two glasses of tap water. When it came it was two pints glasses. My mum is 83, never in her life has she drunk out of a pint glass!!! Anyway we were told there was no lunch menu today. Midweek at lunch time, odd when you advertise lunch and evening times! We ordered our food not expecting much to be honest. Food was lovely, tasty and hot. Not keen on bitty chips or being served in a chip basket but that's just me. What a shame the chef is lease/contracted this kitchen in a dump of a place. BOH staff need to find a premises nearer town away from Dows bar that really don't love their building or business. Sweet menu looked nice but we were ready to leave. Asked waitress twice for bill. Ended up going to the two waitresses that were still sat down, we paid and left a tip. No, thank you, bye, have a nice day, see you again. Nothing. Barman ignored us too. All eight to ten people in bar watched us walk back through. Horrible unkempt place. Food was lovely but will never return.

El personal era increíble, pero claramente este Buisness no está diseñado para el huésped, congelado en el microondas y volcado en un tazón que es su macarrones, sin ensalada sin patatas fritas nada Las patatas fritas se cocinaron en un horno microondas como un chef alegre y se quemaron en el exterior pegados juntos y empapados en el medio, Mi madre pescado era horrible que era marrón, como 3 chefs todos estábamos de acuerdo en qué productos de qué proveedores se estaban utilizando. y es el más barato de la historia, este es sin duda el peor lugar que he comido en Escocia que yo pueda recordar ! ! ! ! ! EVITAR, de nuevo la encantadora dama de cabello negro fue tan servicial, nos sentimos tan apenados por ella que probablemente tiene que escuchar esto a diario y no puede hacer nada para cambiarlo de nuevo EVITAR

Gave it one star as couldn’t select zero. Slow service with cold food. Staff couldn’t have cared less either. Morrisons have certainly ruined this cafe. Do yourself a favour and eat elsewhere.

We visited for lunch to see how things were under the new operator with a view to booking dinner for 4 visitors arriving the following weekend. The welcome was pleasant and service was effective and very cheery. The soup was tasty if small and a bit tepid. The follow on baked potatoes however were well undercooked and the cheese and bean “filling” of one was a thin smear of ochre coloured paste with no visible bean content. Dismal Needless to say, we have booked elsewhere.

Placed an order through the app for takeaway, staff were pretty quick in packing the order but when I got to where we were eating I discovered I was missing two large gravy’s so went back to the restaurant and spoke with the manager Brodie who only offered to replace one as she had spoken with the staff packing orders and they all claimed to have put them in, was made out to be a liar and Brodie was very rude in how she spoke regarding the missing items

Si pudiera dar cero, lo haría. ¡Esto NO es comida china, ni siquiera es comida! Es basura recalentada en el mejor de los casos. El tipo de comida que un estudiante de la universidad, empedrando los últimos artículos en el armario podría hacer. Esto está TAN LEJOS de ser chino, que sospecho que habría sido servido, en los años 60 por una persona blanca que estaba tratando de imaginar cómo podría ser la comida china. Cuando se le preguntó al personal si comerían lo que estaban sirviendo, la respuesta fue no. Fue totalmente repugnante. Nunca me han servido comida así, en ningún país en el que haya vivido o trabajado. Mi padre es chef y si le hubieran servido esa excusa horrible de sustento, se la habría echado en cara al chef. Sirven literalmente nuggets de pollo congelados! Tomates de lata picados con trozos de huevo revuelto, como excusa para el huevo fu yung! Este lugar TIENE que ser un engaño o una fachada para una red de juego o algún tipo de evasión fiscal o lavado de dinero!

Lovely staff and very high standard of cooking, super food and good deals. Everything was delicious, would certainly enjoy eating from here again.

Di passaggio con amici si arriva tardi -per i parametri scozzesi - nei paesi e ci si deve accontentare. Pizza con una quantità esagerata di formaggio a nascondere olio e burro. Kebab con pitta talmente sottile da sgretolarsi in mano e molte molte molte verdure a mimetizzare l'inesistente carne. Perché due stelle? Abbiamo mangiato dopo le 21 e il prezzo è onesto per gli standard della zona.
