Kfc in Moray

The opening hours have changed but there was no indication on the entrance of this even the website had not been updated. Get a grip or lose customers.

Used the automated screen in store (which doesn't give a receipt so you don't see your order number) took the delivery to table option and appropriate display for our table. The server shouted out some 4 digit number repeatedly (NOT our table number) eventually I went to enquire if it was for our table number and she exasperatedly said yes then actually tutted at me! I took our try to our table feeling like a scolded schoolchild, to find them that our two boxes weren't even marked with what was in them, so the only way to tell the difference between a Zinger rice box and original rice box is to bite into the chicken 🤷. In addition to this the place is so filthy that the floor is actually slimy with grease. AVOID!!

Tried to order online, but this option wasn’t working. Visited the store to get our food and there seemed no organisation with the staff.

Garvey was luke warm and watery. Staff were abrupt. Chips were Luke warm. Toilets disgusting. Will definitely not return.

Bad service . Katie had the worst of manners I have heard. Ordered our meal and waited.The number then came on the screen and then disappeared. I went to till with receipt only to be told that we had got our meal and she was adamant.But I insited and showed her my receipt. I was with another family and was embarrassed by all this, she then realised what had happened. I was not the only customer and every table was not cleaned, bins were all full to over flowing and the toilets had no toilet paper and doors held ajar with wet toilet paper. KFC Elgin Sunday 30.07.23 7pm was an absolute disgrace.

Got a kfc tonight for tea and got a boneless banquet and ordered an extra mini fillet along with it. Drive home to open the box to find one scabby looking piece of chicken and half of another one. Not only did I only get one piece of chicken but the food was Luke warm also. Not happy about this at all. Will not be back.

I have came to kfc today to get my lunch with my partner however I was very disappointed when I opened the bag to find part of my order missing and have been charged for it.

A very sub-standard visit to my local KFC. Pulling up and deciding to queue for the Drive-Thru, I did not expect an hour turnaround (from start to finish). It was so slow and from what I could see inside the restaurant, fairly quiet as well.I might be being picky here, but why advertise your full menu right next to the order point? It literally leaves you no time to make a decision - it would be beneficial to position it one or two vehicles back.The staff were friendly and my order was right. However, there were no napkins inside my bag and I barely had the chance to ask for sauces. My 'Zinger Burger' was poor and fell to bits inside my bag. That aside, the rest of my meal was thoroughly enjoyed although the bin at the car park was overflowing, with litter spread around it's base. Ended up using my own bin at home.In a time of attention to detail with regard to cleanliness and hygiene, I left feeling little confidence in the company and I won't be rushing back to this particular franchise any time soon.

Slowest service ever!! Not busy but still really slow, unable to cope with the workload for a Tuesday evening rush .

Came to Kfc with my mate, looking forward to a takeaway meal. Went to order our food, choosing a box meal each. To start off the was NO GRAVY when the meal came there was no box it was all shoved in a bag. It was cold, and soggy. We got no napkins or wetwipes.got no fork to eat my coleslaw which I had to replace my gravy with. Poor effort won't return

Easy to find when heading to Aberdeen as on the main drag out of Elgin. Good parking, once inside easy to spot it’s super clean and fast and friendly service

This was our first visit here ( but have since been again) very clean premises with COVID restrictions in place. Easy to order , great menu and chicken tasty and crispy and very pleasant staff .We shared a mighty bucket for one - and there was plenty food for us both , I only added an extra drink and a side of coleslaw .

Went through drive in to order 2snack meals and the chips we had were recooked dry and bland was offered no salt or any dips etc and service felt like they could not be bothered won't be using it again

Very slow service I actually had to ask if anyone was serving. Not one table had been wiped down the buckets were overflowing so people also couldn’t even empty there trays so lots of table still had dirty trays on them. And well as for the toilets a total disgrace. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Extremely slow service, staff were not on the ball. No gravy, no beans. Bins overflowing & toilets in need of attention. I know it’s ‘only’ KFC but it seems as though whoever has this franchise has given up. Speaks volumes when we visited at peak time on a Friday night and there was hardly a soul there.

The drive through is regularly closed which is a pain when your in a wheelchair. I have then gone in a few times and waited from 30 - 60 minutes for food. Not a good service as not enough staff. Can not fault staff that are trying their best.

After travelling all day to visit family and thought I'd stop for a KFC, when I get there it is closed the website says 23:00, the door says 23:00.However when arrived I saw a team member sitting in his car smoking next to mine whilst I parked up. I got out my car and walked to the door where I was welcomed with the woman inside giving me evil looks as she was cleaning down and I looked at the guy whilst he got out his car and walked to the staff entry who said very rudely ITS CLOSED. I replied your sign says 23:00 and he just walked into the building not showing me any customer service at all. When I got back in my car and started driving away he got back into his car.Not being rude but I'm a head chef of a hotel and if I closed my restaurant an hour before my closing time this is false advertisement and leaves people angry, distraught and hungry, If you say you are closing at a certain time then you are required to do so. Could you please reply to this as I want to take this to the the head office as you are not following your franchise contract and feel I need to report it, you may help me with this or i will look it up. Very unsatisfied customer and will not return to your KFC.Picture attached is time after I had my macdonalds as they were closed and I was hungry.

25 minute wait for food after ordering and the place was only half full. Staff member handed out food but no drink, when asked for it she pushed a bottle at me. I then asked for cups and the look she gave me made me feel a complete nuisance. She asked how many but then gave me 2 not 3 when I asked for another she just walked off. I had to get another member of staffs attention and get another cup but then when I took our tray of food to the table realised no sporks or napkins, none in dispensers in restaurant so had to queue again to ask for them. Food was delicious but experience was spoilt by unfriendly, slow service.

It took 20 minutes for us to get our food. Two workers were just chatting with a past employee for ages instead of getting on with their job. There were about 10 other customers also waiting for a similar duration. We also had to wait an additional 5 minutes to get a couple napkins. One lady eventually asked to speak to the general manager, who had no real excuse for everyone's long wait. Too make matters worse, some people orders were wrong. Wont be returning any time soon!

Slow service and once you do get its wrong. Then you watch everyone behind you get their orders wrong too.

Went to kfc Elgin for lunch today. After waiting for 15 minutes in a que to have our order taken we left and went elsewhere. Only one girl serving and one working on the drive through area. Not acceptable !!

Went in to get a meal and met by machines to order-however wanted to pay by cash and not card so went to counter to order. Staff totally ignored us and had a chat to themselves - called out to them and asked if we could place an order and the boy turned his back on us and started a new chat to his mate. We left and went to Burger King where we had a lovely meal and were met by very friendly and helpful staff. Elgin KFC you need to teach your staff some customer service training!

We arrived and ordered what we wanted on the machine. It took 25 minutes to get our meals. If I had bought them I would have hi demanded a refund. The food order number was eventually called out. My chips were cold and the chicken burger was cold. Fast food it ain’t. Other people around us were the same one woman went back with her order 3 times. An absolute disgrace. I won’t be back.

We popped in twice within the week to try and order ice-cream/sundaes. On both occasions, having queued, were told "Our machines are broken".

I am a big fan of KFC and have always enjoyed them,however a while ago the chip's changed and they have become worse as the month's pass. My last KFC a few weeks ago was the final straw, don't get me wrong the chicken is fine it is purely the chips... If that is what you can call them. They are mush and slime and I am actually struggling to understand how you can make chip's this bad, clearly you are sourcing very poor quality potatoes or maybe one's that are no use for chipping, you need to revert back to the old ones because I for one will stop using KFC whilst you are serving that rubbish.

Stopped by for a take away. They had no coffee, no fresh juice. The food was cold, the chicken fillets were very small. We also had a chicken zinger rice box with salad which resembled a dogs dinner in fact the dog would not have eaten it. All in all absolutely terrible.

After a shopping spree in Elgin we decided to use the Drive Thru at this KFC. As we passed the ample parking spaces within the KFC car park, we slotted into the wee vehicle queue.

Visited KFC in December and asked for a latte but was told hot drinks machine was not working. Went in January and was told same thing. Went today but told they only had black coffee which we did not want. So three times in about six weeks there were no lattes available.

This place was once terrible but with new management and staff has turned around and is clean the food is good and staff plesent.
