Shocking, the noodle box size has significantly changed in size, at least 3 times smaller but still charged same price! Again asked for no mushroom as was allergic severe, but was filled with mushrooms, whole order went in bin.

Ordered a munchie box and was really disappointment. Chips were cold and undercooked. The chicken satay was like a brick so couldn’t eat it. Soggy onion rings. Wontons just fell apart when bit into as just too over done. Really disappointed as usually order the Monday munchie box and usually enjoy it so expected more from this.

Our original order was on time but some of it was missing. When I phoned to complain, they said they would send the missing item within 10 minutes. I had to phone back after 25 minutes. The rest of our food was then cold. Not great

The food is always lovely but I spent over £30 on food to take away, and I'm still charged £3.30 for prawn crackers! Extortionate amount to charge for prawn crackers. They should be free with a £20 spend or charge a more reasonable price. Anything more than £1 a bag is too much.

Staff are extremely helpful and always pleasant. Food is always lovely and reasonably priced.

well 2 and a half hours for some noodles is shocking..they should be focusing on limiting orders so food gets out faster than money money money. won't order from here again.

Really not impressed, the chowmein and chicken was so slimy and freezing cold, chicken was so chewy too.

I do love the food here and always order, but a lot of the time there is always something missing from my order... last night I ordered chicken balls for my children and it didn't arrive, I sacrificed my dinner so my kids could have something to eat. The phone seems to of been cut off as it wasn't ringing and we tried 6 times to get in contact. I've now requested to get my money back for that part of the order.

Everything was awful munchy box was soggy and almost unedible. The ribs were damp and tasteless and the chicken satays were plain. Very disappointing.

This place has gone so down hill. I didn't mind the prices when the food was good. Order was just short of £50. Not worth £20. Lack of meat in the shredded chicken. Watery Satay sauce and flavourless ribs. Used to be fantastic now its the worst takeaway in town.

Got the chicken curry takeout. It was god awful. It went in the bin. And why peas and mushrooms. Not ever again. Sticking with Indian.

Poor quality of food for the price. £29 for barely cooked chips, with curry sauce had leaked all over the inside of the bag and the chicken wontons had little to no chicken inside and tasted of egg. We usually have great experiences with the wok inn so we are incredibly disappointed.

Always great noodles and salt and chilli dishes.

Delivery time is over 2 hours. Food was barely warm and over priced.

Didn't deliver my whole order and when I called about it I was given attitude from the "manager" where she scoffed and laughed at me when I lost my temper for being spoken to in that way, considering the money I'd spent. The manger excused her behaviour and blamed it on me. Still didnt receive my correct order and had to call back again.

Customer service is awful, owner also has no clue. Wouldn't recommend - sends half your order then items are missing from your order and when you call to advise they give you attitude. Food is over priced and over cooked. Go to Lucky Star - Alan will look after you.

Drinks were left out of order, had to phone to remind. Not the first time either.

The food was really nice, and hot when arrived, the problem was that ordering through Just Eat for a specific time doesn't mean the food can arrive then because they have too many orders at the same time, Just Eat should make this more clear on their website. Not the fault of the Wok Inn at all.

The rice was tasted reheated, burnt and dry, ruining the rest of the meals flavour. It took one hour and fifteen minutes from placing the order to delivery.

One of our main meals was missing. We had to go back and collect it. By the time we did that the first lot of food was cold. Really disappointed with the experience and we didn’t even get an apology.

The worst Chinese meal I have ever eaten the most authentic thing about the place was that the food wouldn't have been out of place in a communist gulag. The rice was so tough it could have conquered Taiwan in 25 mins, the sauce for all the meals despite being different on the menu were the same sauces which tasted like it came out of a supermarket jar all in all a poor experience would.not reccomend

First time used and never again, food was horrid. Garlic, garlic and more garlic.

Ordered chips, rice and chicken balls, requested sauce be separate on note for restaurant. Rice missing and sauce all over chips. Called and asked for my rice and replacement chips, and was basically accused of trying to get my order cheaper. (Honest mistake, even offered to pay the extra) Was told they’d come back asap with chips and rice. Waited 45 minutes and they came with rice only no replacement chips. So it was cold and soggy, will not be ordering again, poor customer service

The best Chinese I’ve had in years. My only regret is I don’t live near Forres.

Food was great but missing a item

Really disappointed. Had to drive back to collect items that had been left. Only to realise on returning home, another item was also missing. 3 items missing in total. Not on.

for the price i must say well overpriced compared to other Chinese restaurants in the are but apart from the price the food was good

The noodle boxes were fantastic. Feels slightly expensive for what you get, but everybody enjoyed them.

Chips were wet/soggy and cold. Chicken balls were hard/tough. Rice was okay. Very disappointed considering it was £35 for 2 mains + chips and rice. Won’t order here again.

First time we have tried The wok inn, not impressed. The food was very oily and salty with no flavour would not recommend or order form here again.

The only thing keeping this off five stars is the lack of clarity around ingredients "Mixed vegetables" doesn't help establish what is in a meal. As the Shredded Crispy Beef and Honey Chilli Chicken look so similar, some indication on the box as to which one is which without us needing to taste test would have also been good.

Unfortunately not the best food this time. First time we've had an order that wasn't the quality we normally get. Chicken balls very oily and fried a bit too long, chow mein also very oily.

Ordered Chicken Chow Mein which was really tasty and made with chicken breast. Great portion size would feed two people. Sesame Prawn Toast was lovely. Normally order elsewhere, but will definitely order here again.

I ordered from them once before and the portion size and food was ok. unfortunately tonight 22/7/23 it was not. the portion of fried rice and curry sauce was small. half the box was rice and half sauce. my wife found a small silver piece which looks like tin foil in the fried rice and sauce. I ordered mixed veg and blackbean sauce with tofu. the tofu had disintegrated into pieces and the meal was not appetising at all. More like soup. we also ordered veg spring rolls which were chewy. we will not order from there again after this. I messaged them on Facebook with my complaints, no reply.

This is the best Chinese in Forres. We had the salted Chilli chicken with fried rice and one with chips. Portions were awesome and the food was outstanding. Collected and still roasting when I got home. Top marks for the Wok Inn

Poor show , no fried rice in the order!! What’s the point in you delivering part of an order !? The mean can’t be enjoyed then !! Will not I order from the again if they cannot get basic essential part of an order correct !!

The food was lovely, two of the items were missing and I feel that you should do a box of mixed starters as separately they cost a fortune!!!

Missing side dish and poor quality Red Thai Curry - sauce was too thick and had white powdery lumps in it - suspect that it wasn't cooked thoroughly to dissolve the powdery ingredient (starch or coconut powder?) Was unable to contact the Wok Inn - line constantly busy !

Tasty and very generous portions.

They used way way to much Garlic, Garlics all I could taste and now 5 hrs later I'm still Burping Garlic.

While the food is always great I really wish they were more clear on each of the individual ingredients within the meals. It makes it hard to order items you're not fimiliar with.

best chinese in town ,i always recommend them ...... if you like to eat a chinese without getting up in middle of night gasping for a drink,then this is the place,might be a bit pricier,, but then you dont need to buy gallons of fluids to quench youre thirst like all the rest of the local chinese shops, so then the price works oot roughly the same. seeeeemples

Never again. Wednesday night and was waiting 1.5 hrs for a chewy "beef in salt", szechuan sauce was so salty couldnt even eat it. Shreded chicken and beef drowned in this abomination of a way too sweet sauce. Chips its better not too comment as "french" would be needed to describe "it". Wish that cook, as you can not call someone like that a chef try his food before serving. The worst experience I ever had in any place in Forres

Food was greasy and tasteless. Asked for no veg in the noodles (literally on the print out receipt that they put on the bag but that was ignored) chicken was fine but Satay sauce to go with it was greasy and had consistency of runny gravy. Overall tasteless food. So expensive compared to other takeaways and not worth it. I would avoid. Won't be ordering again

After trying every other chinese takeaway in Forres, I thought I'd give this place a go, and with it being more expensive than the others, I had high hopes. Those hopes were shot down really fast. There claims of "homemade" orange sauce lured me in, but upon delivery I was met with generic, bland "orange" sauce that had more pineapple than orange, generic "crispy" chicken, generic rice and chips (which were mushy and tasted like they had been sitting for a while). Don't get me wrong, it was bad as such, it was all just generic. It tasted the same as 2 other local chinese takeaways. Nothing special, nothing "homemade" tasting. This would be fine, generic is ok, but considering the price is higher than the others, I was expecting more. Disappointed. Delivery was within the time stated, driver was friendly and food was packed well. Maybe not the same experience on every meal, but was my experience on this one and, sadly, a bad first impression.

Amazing food I went off Chinese food for good while but there food is so good I like it again definitely recommend would give 10 stars of i could they even change things to suit your dietary needs just fab

Very tasty good sized portions

We are new to the area and love Chinese take away on a Saturday. All the Food was delicous and piping hot, even though we are a bit outside of Forres. The best pancske rolls I have ever tasted in my life, the Wok Inn will be our go to Chinese. Time from ordering to delivery was a bit long, however that was a learning curve for us to order earlier as they were so busy.

Hour and a half for delivery, they take no heed of ur notes/food requests unless u state its for an allergy! No veg means no veg its not difficult
