Good food. Arrived piping hot. Delivered in stated time. Polite driver.

Food was freezing cold. Missing the chicken and cheese rolls. Payed £6 odd for 5 crispy won tons (freezing) really not a good experience

Food was overpriced and full of grease will never order from them again.

When it arrived it was all very soggy, and the curry sauce was far too spicy to be able to eat. I wasn’t able to eat any of my meal

Forgot a portion of chips, expensive, long wait time. Took over an hour on a Wednesday. Tasty and decent portion. But £6.50 for s+c chips and it mostly onions and carrot.

Not the cheapest menu. Some items were missing but after ringing the restaurant up they apologised and sent the items out fairly quickly and redelivered them. The food quality was good and tasty with decent size portions. I would order again.

Very disappointed. Ordered two special curries, curry sauce was very thin and watery. Pork was tough and overcooked. Prawn toast was overcooked, hard, very thin and small. Not enjoyable at all. Waste of our money

was late but we didn't mind its a busytime of year, 1st time trying the Monday munch box and it was delicious defo recommended. have leftovers for tomorrow's supper. 8/10

Ordered the munchie box, it arrived late and had clearly been sat in its box for a considerable length of time. Bottom of the box was soaked through and the food, which was all burnt to a crisp and inedible, fell out the bottom. Straight in the bin, waste of my time and money. Have ran out of patience with this restaurant.

Item missing and food over cooked or to spicy to eat

The curry sauce had spilled all over our food , the bags where stuck to the chips and spring rolls so we had to pull all the paper off them before eating , the spring rolls had hardly any filling at all and my two bottles of Fanta that where paid for where forgotten but the delivery driver was busy so he suggested I got it on my next order , more than happy with that until I opened the food and will not be ordering from there again so I won’t be getting my juice back . Very disappointed

2 hours, 20 minutes from order to delivery. Food arrived lukewarm like it had been sitting for ages. Chips all soggy and stuck to the bag. Never buying food from here ever again. Complete letdown

I ordered earlier in the day so it’d be delivered at a decent time as usually leave ordering until later and then delivery is later on as understandably it is more busy. I received a call 10 mins after my initial estimated delivery time to say the delivery driver had got a flat tyre and delivery would be up to 30 mins late, which is fine as these things happen. However, over an hour after that call our dinner still had not arrived. We did receive an apology from the restaurant which I appreciate

From ordering to delivery was 2 hrs 10 mins. This was even 45 minutes later than the estimate time. The food was considered ok but the spring rolls were soggy and not crispy at all. Probably won't order from here again.

The batter on the chicken balls was rock hard. Almost as if they were re heats! The food from here used to be amazing but they seem to be going downhill. Shame really.

The customer service was rude to even when I was kindly asked why my order is late. They even try to eat my food without delivery it to. Poor service / poor delivery service.

Shocking, the noodle box size has significantly changed in size, at least 3 times smaller but still charged same price! Again asked for no mushroom as was allergic severe, but was filled with mushrooms, whole order went in bin.

Ordered a munchie box and was really disappointment. Chips were cold and undercooked. The chicken satay was like a brick so couldn’t eat it. Soggy onion rings. Wontons just fell apart when bit into as just too over done. Really disappointed as usually order the Monday munchie box and usually enjoy it so expected more from this.

Our original order was on time but some of it was missing. When I phoned to complain, they said they would send the missing item within 10 minutes. I had to phone back after 25 minutes. The rest of our food was then cold. Not great

The food is always lovely but I spent over £30 on food to take away, and I'm still charged £3.30 for prawn crackers! Extortionate amount to charge for prawn crackers. They should be free with a £20 spend or charge a more reasonable price. Anything more than £1 a bag is too much.

Staff are extremely helpful and always pleasant. Food is always lovely and reasonably priced.

well 2 and a half hours for some noodles is shocking..they should be focusing on limiting orders so food gets out faster than money money money. won't order from here again.

Really not impressed, the chowmein and chicken was so slimy and freezing cold, chicken was so chewy too.

I do love the food here and always order, but a lot of the time there is always something missing from my order... last night I ordered chicken balls for my children and it didn't arrive, I sacrificed my dinner so my kids could have something to eat. The phone seems to of been cut off as it wasn't ringing and we tried 6 times to get in contact. I've now requested to get my money back for that part of the order.

This place has gone so down hill. I didn't mind the prices when the food was good. Order was just short of £50. Not worth £20. Lack of meat in the shredded chicken. Watery Satay sauce and flavourless ribs. Used to be fantastic now its the worst takeaway in town.

Poor quality of food for the price. £29 for barely cooked chips, with curry sauce had leaked all over the inside of the bag and the chicken wontons had little to no chicken inside and tasted of egg. We usually have great experiences with the wok inn so we are incredibly disappointed.

Always great noodles and salt and chilli dishes.

Delivery time is over 2 hours. Food was barely warm and over priced.

Didn't deliver my whole order and when I called about it I was given attitude from the "manager" where she scoffed and laughed at me when I lost my temper for being spoken to in that way, considering the money I'd spent. The manger excused her behaviour and blamed it on me. Still didnt receive my correct order and had to call back again.

Customer service is awful, owner also has no clue. Wouldn't recommend - sends half your order then items are missing from your order and when you call to advise they give you attitude. Food is over priced and over cooked. Go to Lucky Star - Alan will look after you.

Drinks were left out of order, had to phone to remind. Not the first time either.

The food was really nice, and hot when arrived, the problem was that ordering through Just Eat for a specific time doesn't mean the food can arrive then because they have too many orders at the same time, Just Eat should make this more clear on their website. Not the fault of the Wok Inn at all.

The rice was tasted reheated, burnt and dry, ruining the rest of the meals flavour. It took one hour and fifteen minutes from placing the order to delivery.

One of our main meals was missing. We had to go back and collect it. By the time we did that the first lot of food was cold. Really disappointed with the experience and we didn’t even get an apology.

The worst Chinese meal I have ever eaten the most authentic thing about the place was that the food wouldn't have been out of place in a communist gulag. The rice was so tough it could have conquered Taiwan in 25 mins, the sauce for all the meals despite being different on the menu were the same sauces which tasted like it came out of a supermarket jar all in all a poor experience would.not reccomend

First time used and never again, food was horrid. Garlic, garlic and more garlic.

Ordered chips, rice and chicken balls, requested sauce be separate on note for restaurant. Rice missing and sauce all over chips. Called and asked for my rice and replacement chips, and was basically accused of trying to get my order cheaper. (Honest mistake, even offered to pay the extra) Was told they’d come back asap with chips and rice. Waited 45 minutes and they came with rice only no replacement chips. So it was cold and soggy, will not be ordering again, poor customer service

The best Chinese I’ve had in years. My only regret is I don’t live near Forres.

Really disappointed. Had to drive back to collect items that had been left. Only to realise on returning home, another item was also missing. 3 items missing in total. Not on.

The noodle boxes were fantastic. Feels slightly expensive for what you get, but everybody enjoyed them.

Chips were wet/soggy and cold. Chicken balls were hard/tough. Rice was okay. Very disappointed considering it was £35 for 2 mains + chips and rice. Won’t order here again.

First time we have tried The wok inn, not impressed. The food was very oily and salty with no flavour would not recommend or order form here again.

The only thing keeping this off five stars is the lack of clarity around ingredients "Mixed vegetables" doesn't help establish what is in a meal. As the Shredded Crispy Beef and Honey Chilli Chicken look so similar, some indication on the box as to which one is which without us needing to taste test would have also been good.

Unfortunately not the best food this time. First time we've had an order that wasn't the quality we normally get. Chicken balls very oily and fried a bit too long, chow mein also very oily.

Ordered Chicken Chow Mein which was really tasty and made with chicken breast. Great portion size would feed two people. Sesame Prawn Toast was lovely. Normally order elsewhere, but will definitely order here again.

I ordered from them once before and the portion size and food was ok. unfortunately tonight 22/7/23 it was not. the portion of fried rice and curry sauce was small. half the box was rice and half sauce. my wife found a small silver piece which looks like tin foil in the fried rice and sauce. I ordered mixed veg and blackbean sauce with tofu. the tofu had disintegrated into pieces and the meal was not appetising at all. More like soup. we also ordered veg spring rolls which were chewy. we will not order from there again after this. I messaged them on Facebook with my complaints, no reply.

This is the best Chinese in Forres. We had the salted Chilli chicken with fried rice and one with chips. Portions were awesome and the food was outstanding. Collected and still roasting when I got home. Top marks for the Wok Inn
