The best restaurants in Glasgow and Surrounding

Where do I start. Deco is beautiful, atmosphere amazing, service unbeatable. Started with two cocktails 👌🏻 Starters were absolutely delicious I had the scallops 👌🏻 then for main I had the chicken supreme what can I say, absolutely delicious. Choice in menu was outstanding. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back x sorry had eaten my dinner before I realised I hadn't taken a photo 🤪

The pizzas here were superb, and the staff were very friendly. The only thing that makes me hesitate about returning was the level of noise. Restaurant was full and the noise level was mahoosive. Maybe we just were unlucky on the night we went, but I'd try again as pizzas were great.

I was really looking forward to visiting this place. It started off really wells great service, really nice starters. And then from there it went down hill. The skate I ordered had gone over and was full of salt and ammonia - a sure sign that Skate is passed its best. The manager responded well and offered to prepare a new cod dish for me - this was fine but had been over seasoned. My dining companion has his beef course taken away while my new main was being prepared but they brought him lamb back rather than the beef - the lamb was very good by the way. Clearly the kitchen was having a bad day. In fairness the manager was brilliant and only charged us for starter and drinks. However, it wasn’t the best overall experience. Such a shame. Don’t agree with the comments re portion sizes - these are just right for this kind of food.

Great spot. Staying near the airport and drove over before our flight. Good sushi. Bao was really good and above average. Great service and nice clean restaurant.

We tried this restaurant on our last night in Glasgow when travelling through the UK. It was recommended to us by a local Glaswegian who stopped to ask us if he could help when he saw us looking on our phones. We told him we were looking for somewhere nice for dinner and he told us this was his favourite Indian restaurant and as we’re fans of Indian food we thought we’d try it. We weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious, the service exceptional. I left there very full as it’s very hard to stop eating good Indian food.

Food was very good. I asked to be very well done my beef steak and I was very pleased with taste.

Very enjoyable evening. Exceptional cuisine. Delightful atmosphere. Impeccable service. The scallops (photo below) were the best we’ve ever had. The added Kale and bacon just worked! Entire team treated us like we’re family. 10 stars!!

I am not in the habit of doing this but felt beyond disappointed. The Sag had no flavour. It was like tasteless spinach soup with potatoes. The Rogan Josh had fluorescent red tasteless sauce as did the other dish. Chapati was fine. The delivery person was polite. When I phoned the manager I was offered a replacement for one dish or credit. I looked forward to real a Rogan Josh but sent it back because it tasted the same as the first neon red dish. £42.50 for one of the worst take aways I have ever had.

Cené y pedí el pho con carne de res en rodajas cocida y albóndigas, así como el rollo de verano. El caldo pho no era tan fuerte como estoy acostumbrado, pero era agradable. El rollo de verano era bueno también. El servicio fue amable y rápido.

My partner says this was one of the best pizzas he’s had in a long time and he has very high standards & eats a lot of pizza! They were the only place in the area open on Bank holiday Sunday, luckily we didn’t have to book, but it was obvious this place is popular and for good reason! Had 2 delicious pizzas, didn’t take long, service was friendly, menu was varied plus you can make your own pizza if none of the options suit you.

$23 burger should have been $5. Bacon undercooked, burger meat overcooked and bread was stale. Crab aroncini had no flavor. Unbelievable the prices they are charging for their food. Steak knife was bent at the top upon arrival, and the plate was crusty with food remnants. Staff was pleasant and the main reason they are getting 1 star and not a zero star review.

Mi abuelo y mi mamá eran dueños de este restaurante y era un lugar muy especial para crecer. Fue mágico y mi abuelo lamentablemente falleció recientemente. Nunca te olvidaré La banca y todo el gran personal y recuerdos que tuvimos. xoxo
