This was recommended to me this place , got meal A , says Peking ribs . No bigger than a 50p piece per rib . Portions are laughable if that's what you call a portion of ribs daylight robbery trying to pass these off a ribs. Rice ok , curry sauce not the greatest I could taste the powder of the sauce so not a good sign . I'll be staying well clear but no surprise as shrinkflation on show everywhere and hard to find a good Chinese takeaway these days. Only reason I went cause eves was closed and drive to spring garden to long but wish I drove now as this was shengus . Only giving two stars for rice n chicken but Won't be back 👎👎

Placed a order for pick up by mistake instead of wanting delivery so cancelled straight away to do it again waiting on money going back in but it’s saying on my email I won’t be refunded my money !?

Got sausage supper chips where cold and reheats sausage nice tho phoned them and staff said will sort out next time won't be a next time avoid

Once you see alll the raw ingredients - you don’t really wanna eat it, but once it’s ready - this place is perfect. Staff looks like they don’t care about you, but I guess it’s just another culture. Keep in mind that spicy base is really spicy!

Booked via 5pm for afternoon tea, one of the first slots for 12 noon on a Saturday. On arrival, had entered from the Great Western Road side, directly into “The Terrace” entrance, the place was deserted, not a single person there/within the bar area to greet us. We had to walk down to the main hotel entrance to speak with reception. We were then taken back to The Terrace to be seated, our table was prepared and ready for us. First impressions, not a great start. The Terrace looks like it had recently gone through a return shortly before being sold by the Hilton so is nice, although the furniture is sparse and doesn’t give that same feeling of a higher end experience. The server, apologies, can’t remember his name but a young boy, very polite and attentive, it’s good to see the younger generation holding a job like this and having a bit of passion. All of the cake selection was very good aswell as the sandwich collection, for the money I’d expected a couple more sandwiches. Great coffee. Would return, however, didn’t think it was worth the £35 price tag, this puts it in direct competition with The Dilmah at the Hilton in Glasgow which is far superior. Atmosphere is why really let this down, maybe the section of part of the terrace specifically for afternoon tea to try and build a bit of atmosphere.

Just ordered from here via uber eats. Mixed grill - the kobeda kebab and lamb chops are raw from the inside. PLEASE AVIOD THIS PLACE!!!!!

Tienes las típicas dosas auténticas como en un Saravana Bhavan: mysore, ghee roast, masala, rava etc... .. Todos están muy bien hechos con excelentes chutneys y sambhar. Las dosas vienen tan bien como pueden, uniformemente crujientes pero espesas, húmedas y sabrosas. El derretimiento - en su boca chukka de cordero, es condimentado por especias aromáticas recién golpeadas y de gran calidad, mezcladas precisamente bajo una auténtica receta de Chettinad. Servido caliente, es difícil no pensar en ello cuando te despiertas a la mañana siguiente! El Chili Paneer y el Paneer Manchurian son tan buenos como pueden serlo para los vegetarianos, especialmente, trozos frescos y húmedos de paneer cocinados en las especias adecuadas y mezclados en una salsa pegajosa con cebollas suavizadas y sudadas, en comparación con una salsa “dulce - chile” que la mayoría de los otros restaurantes podrían servir... El máximo respeto que le tengo a este restaurante proviene del hecho de que han adoptado y mantenido fieles las recetas y mantenido su auténtico sabor. No han rebajado el tono, comprometido o desviado para proporcionar agradadores a la multitud, constantemente se aseguran de que el puñetazo audaz, intenso y feroz de las especias brille como debería en todos sus platos, ¡y es por esto que Banana leaf alinea y excede las expectativas de proporcionar auténtica cocina del sur de la India en Glasgow a precios razonables! Parece que te pierdes, como si estuvieras en la carretera de Serangoon en Singapur, la pequeña India en Malasia o maldito directamente desde un restaurante superior en Chennai cuando estás allí para tu comida. La comida es una delicia, la experiencia es simplemente fuera de este mundo! ¡Manténganse al día con los grandes chicos del trabajo, son una joya en el corazón de Glasgow!

Normalmente no es un fanático de la comida china, ya que en general no es muy saludable y las salsas con mucha sal. Pasé por este lugar que estaba en la cola un almuerzo a la hora de la puerta y pensé que huele delicioso. Decidí probar unas noches más tarde con mi madre y me alegro de haberlo hecho. En primer lugar el servicio es muy eficiente y muestra la mesa rápidamente. Solo éramos no chinos, lo que demuestra que la comida es buena. Menú bastante grande pero muchas fotos. Nos decidimos por un plato de pollo y salsa de frijoles negros y una olla caliente de coliflor estofada. Conseguimos un arroz y nos tentamos con el dim sum, pero pensé que sería demasiado. Me alegro de no haber pedido más platos como tamaño saludable. Comida deliciosa y caliente y llena de sabor. No me gustan los alimentos grasos y realmente no se puede evitar el aceite en este tipo de alimentos, ¡pero muy fresco y súper delicioso! Auténtico y feliz que he encontrado! Los mejores 20 que he pasado!
