Ordered for delivery came pretty quick and was still hot when it arrived
Chips were nice and fluffy, chicken balls were nice too
The beef curry was nice but my only drawback is that they give you too much curry sauce despite the fact I only asked for beef. More beef and a bit less curry sauce would be ideal but that's just me
But other than that? Would definitely buy from this place again 🙂
Everyone in line was ordering breakfast sandwiches and I should have too. I ordered two breakfast platters and much of it was burnt or over cooked. The poor worker was by herself managing the counter and kitchen, and I think it was a little busy for her. Will try again and get a sandwich.

Having read your reply I feel I must respond. It is very clear that you did not read my review.
Firstly, I was not rude. And I took the pizza downstairs to be replaced. Questioning someone's ability to deal with a complaint effectively is not being rude, and as I said, at no time was my voice raised or bad language used, and if you had read the comments properly, you would know my opinions.
Secondly, I said that the staff member claimed to be a Chinese takeaway when I phoned your number. This was clearly a member of staff having a laugh. Again if you had read my review you would have seen that.
If you and your staff had dealt with this properly, there would have been no need to call you out publicly. A sorry, and a hot Pizza were all that was required. In your 42 years of dealing with the public you have clearly learned nothing about how to deal with the public. Other reviews also make similar complaints and indeed refer to your staff being economical with the truth. Clearly there is a pattern. In fact you contradict yourself in 2 of them
Rather than hold your hands up, dealing with the problem, you and your staff are not interested and are hiding behind the bad customer routine. Clearly, customer service and staff training are not your forte.
I suggest that you train your staff, start paying attention to detail and start taking responsibility.
This is my last word on the matter and I look forward to see how Glasgow City Council deal with you.
Regards
Alan
PS Showing some attention to detail and listening to your customers will get you everywhere!!!
I have used this place for 20 years, but I will never use them again. The service I experienced last night was a complete disgrace. All I wanted was a cooked Pizza.
My experience is as follows:
1 Ordered a pizza which was delivered practically with the chicken clucking it was that cold. There was not even evidence of the cheese being browned, the base was lucky if it had been cooked.
2 Spoke with the "Manager" who I know from having gone in there for the last 20 years was not the manager but the lady who wraps the chips and told her my complaint. She made a point of roaring at me that she was the manager. (Customer service at its best) She said it would be replaced.
3 phoned 10 mins before closing. I was told they had tried to get me (nothing on the phone by the way that shows that any contact was made and the phone was hung up.
4 tried phoning a few times and was not answered, then told it was a Chinese takeaway and the sworn at down the phone by a lady who was not the manager
I had always liked this place and the owner was a lovely guy. But given my last experience the standards (particularly on service have dropped)>
I wish to make a point that at no time did I raise my voice or use bad language (because if you do when you complain it gives an easy way out), but I did receive both from rude, badly trained members of staff.
This was recommended to me this place , got meal A , says Peking ribs . No bigger than a 50p piece per rib . Portions are laughable if that's what you call a portion of ribs daylight robbery trying to pass these off a ribs. Rice ok , curry sauce not the greatest I could taste the powder of the sauce so not a good sign . I'll be staying well clear but no surprise as shrinkflation on show everywhere and hard to find a good Chinese takeaway these days. Only reason I went cause eves was closed and drive to spring garden to long but wish I drove now as this was shengus . Only giving two stars for rice n chicken but Won't be back 👎👎
He estado buscando un lugar que sirva un buen brunch de calidad durante semanas. Encontré este lugar. Estaba ocupado, y no habíamos reservado. Nos preguntaron amablemente si podíamos esperar. Estábamos contentos de, como se podía ver la comida que se sirve, se ve muy bien.
Habíamos decidido un desayuno completo antes de sentarnos , como había navegado por el menú.
No decepcionó. Bonito pudín negro de calidad y salchicha. De hecho, todo era ingrediente de calidad. Gran capuchino caliente. Realmente no podía fallarlo.
Bueno, vuelve a menudo. Visita pronto.

Try to phone up for food but woman who answers the phone is too distracted to listen to what I'm saying, then I say can you hear me she replies no I can't hear you when she obviously just answered my question, won't be trying to phone for a order again so just lost a customer 👎. Shame as the food is decent

My wife ordered a takeaway and thank God I never ordered anything for myself.
A burnt chow mein, the worst chicken fried rice ever (according to my daughter), curry sauce that tasted like water with minimal flavour, chips from 2 days ago. Chicken balls , I'll give them a pass mark, at least ther was a crunch in the prawn crackers

So good? I think so bad is more fitting. Received my order after over an hour and a half of waiting - fine. Only to realise they’ve forgotten items, called the shop to be told it’ll be a 2 hour wait, I questioned how this as it is their mistake and I ordered over an hour and a half earlier so surely they would make the missing items and send them ASAP. Wrong. The guy on the phones attitude was stinking and he was extremely rude and unhelpful. Told me they were busy - aren’t we all? Not once did he apologise for this mistake. He told me next time I order they will make it up - told him if this is the case I won’t be ordering from them again and to instead refund me to which he told me will need to go through Uber eats. Checked the food we did receive and the chips were extremely oily and the chicken curry cold. Will not be ordering from this place again.
