The different types of meat were good

last month I ordered a takeaway which we had pre-arranged for 18 people all choosing different meals. It was excellent great value for money lovely food piping hot.

We go here for a family meal 3-4times a year and have done for at least 25yrs and I've honestly never had a bad meal yet...the staff are so attentive, the food is amazing and the cost isn't too bad either....would definitely recommend for a Chinese meal anytime in glasgow

Two stars because the hotel exists and accepts guests—that's about it. Breakfast: Please refer to the enclosed photos. Even though breakfast is available for purchase, it doesn't guarantee that food will be available; only leftovers were left at 7:20 am. The coffee machine was constantly either broken or needed maintenance. Tables were not cleaned, leaving no place to sit and eat. Despite the hotel having many guests, only one staff member was attending to the area. The hotel seems severely understaffed, which greatly impacts the quality of service. Rooms: The rooms are in need of refurbishment. While I understand it's a budget hotel, the periodical lack of hot water in the morning was unacceptable. The overall customer experience is inexcusable. This was certainly my last stay at Leonardo, and the hotel is now on my "Avoid at all costs" list.

We have been renting space at this hotel for our church services, and we cannot praise Joy enough for her exceptional service. From the moment we started, she has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly for us. Joy is incredibly helpful, kind, and patient, always greeting us with a warm smile and a willingness to assist. Her attention to detail is remarkable—she ensures the space is always clean, well-prepared, and perfectly arranged for our needs. Even when unexpected issues arise, she handles them swiftly and professionally, making sure we feel comfortable and valued. Her dedication and genuine care for her work have made a significant difference in our experience. Joy truly embodies outstanding customer service, and we are so grateful for her unwavering support. Asked for a 1930 delivery. Arrived at 1800. Wasn’t ready to eat as I was still working. Had it cold. Even told the driver that I wanted it for 1930 when he called me to say it was here. Food was nice even though it was cold when I eventually got round to eating. My advice is. Check delivery times please. Would have sooner had it hot and tasty rather than cold and soggy but fairly tasty.

It's a huge place and never full anytime I've been there - therefore it always feels a bit lacking in atmosphere.

Third visit and this experience DID NOT disappoint. Every item of food from the olives and focaccia bread to the steaks were delicious. It’s expensive but I did not mind paying for excellent food with excellent service. Will definitely be back. Cocktails and wine selection were also fabulous.

Nice place with study and reading spaces, the coffee is great and the staff are friendly

Went in for lunch with colleagues on a Monday (just before Christmas). The place was very busy with plenty of locals. The food was superb, a mixture of lasagnes, Bolognese & venison stews around the table and no complaints from anyone. I would say a starter took time to be brought out to one guest, even though it was a simple pate (which was also tasty).

We had coffee and cake there recently. The cakes were superb as was the coffee. Very good service too. Nice atmosphere and busy.
