New Happy Eat Chinese Takeaway in Glasgow City

Placed a order for pick up by mistake instead of wanting delivery so cancelled straight away to do it again waiting on money going back in but it’s saying on my email I won’t be refunded my money !?

First time ordering, food was fantastic,Delivered hot ,will order from again

Really enjoyed the happy meal. Chicken was nice and tender and it smelled and tasted amazing.

Order was wrong ordered a beef curry but got chicken I called and they says will send it out but time it comes rice and other food will need reheated not what you want when you have paid £38 ! Few times now not been happy and I’m a very loyal customer and spend a lot of money disappointing as love this place but not been the same nearly £70 in 2 nites and had to complain not good 👎

Paid £34 tonight I am a loyal customer and get here a lot so disappointed tonight the large pancake rolls where dripping in grease and falling apart when i always ask for them crispy have phoned to complain about them before ! think by now many times I order would get it correct when always ask and complained before ! Soy sauce all over bag went everywhere over my counter tops got about 6 prawns with my dish in blackbean sauce not good tonight at all want a replacement for the pancake rolls ??!

Ordered at 19:44 came at 21:28!! Was told we stay far away from shop we stay 10 mins 🤯🤯

Orde was due between 9.30 and 9.50 turned up at 10.42 after having to phone 14 times because a delivery driver couldn’t find a main road? Then sent a fresh order with items missing after all this wait? Absolutely ridiculous, don’t hire drivers that can’t find a main road!!

Curry was like water tonight ! Was dripping off my plate everything else good 👍

waited over an hour food cold and not the sauce I asked for. very disappointed I spend a lot of money in this shop

hadn't ordered from happy eats in a while as the delivery is always so long. ordered tonight for the first time in a while and it's late. ordered almost an hour and a half ago. unfortunately still waiting.

Did not receive my order, shop won’t pick up the phone or answer text for a refund.

Longer delivery wait as usually never received free spring-rolls as I normally do over £30 asked them to remember in notes still forgot will say on notes on my next order loyal customer , apart from that food was lovely as usual

My kid received a free dead spider in his chips at lunchtime today. OMG 😲 people watch out. Absolutely not spreading anything. I'm warning the general public about what my kid found in his chips at lunchtime today. All his friends saw this he was too scared to come back with it and threw it away. I've told him to take pictures of anything wrong with his food in the future from everywhere 🙄 he is 12, and I have never ordered anything from you, so I believe my son. Sorry, it really makes me feel sick as to how takeaways store their food or how trading standards or the food standard agency might see this 🤔 how long have you been waiting on a inspection from just eat to inspect your premises for food hygiene? Obviously, the council has never inspected the place.

Took ages and the food was dry and mushy

One mushroom and 2 prawns in a mixed curry absolutely shocking chips were soggy apart from that it was ok but I feel a mixed curry should be even all meats and mushroom

the food was delicious. lots of flavour and still hot. The chicken was not chewy or overcooked, we really enjoyed this food.

Asked for chicken balls to be extra well done and crispy as tried them before and where too soft and doughy so gave them another try and they where the same disappointed they where under done and white not crispy at all when asked I usually give top stars but not for these tonight money wasted won’t eat rest of food lovely tho

Amazing as always ordered large pancake rolls plain chow main king prawns in black bean sauce 10/10 ! always read there notes too always provide what you want great service and food

long wait for the order over 30mins longer than the time confirmed so over 2 hrs in total. Not ideal as it was a treat after work for the kids. The food was nice but not as warm as we are used too. Also some of the portions were smaller than usual

the delivery was super fast, and the quality was brilliant, ordered form here a number of times and will defo continue to do so.

Took a whole 2 hours to come even though I live near the area .

Lovely but tried the large pancake rolls again and put in notes to wash beansprouts as tasted funny and still came tasting like dirt waste of money on them again don’t sell them if veg is not washed or fresh buy beansprouts all the time and don’t taste like this so can tell 👎

Great quality as always. portions a little smaller than usual but still tasty.

Ordered the crispy shredded duck, the duck was inedible and a children’s portion of your lucky it was rubber only edible part about it was the pancakes and veg my partner got a chicken chow mein that was basically a plain chow mein with a few slithers of chicken thrown in I won’t be ordering again

Curry was amazing chicken balls I asked for crispy bit where underdone for me put them in the air frier to crisp them abs they where perfect 👍

Large pancake rolls where a waste of money the beansprouts tasted like dirt obviously not washed them disappointed not worth £4.20

Absolutely awful start to finish. had 4 changes in my delivery time. called and my food was only.being cooked almost an hour and half from my order being accepted. food arrived after 2 hours. food was mostly soggy and incredibly underwhelming. will not be back the this terrible place.

Sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style was delicious. Chicken noodle soup was really lovely Chicken and mushroom perfect Definitely my favourite Chinese now.

In my house we have very different levels of spicy that we can take and everyone really enjoyed the meal.

Found a screw in my food while eating it… phoned up and the guy didn’t seem to care at all.

I do not recommend this place - way too salty, every dish, chicken chow main just drowned in soy sauce There are so many good places, other than this

Ribs where so chewy after asking for them soft little amount of veg with chow mein salt pepper chicken tastes like fried in bad oil and funny taste been disappointed last 2 orders and curry missing from last order been a regular customer for a long time not as good as it was before

Bbq spare ribs were nice could have had a bit more meat on them as one of my ribs was just all bone no meat but really nice and the spring rolls were nice

Order almost every nite good customer that gives them alot of money to there business I’m so disappointed never got my beef curry says I was last order was none and shop was closed ! and filler paper bags with about 14 peices of chicken sesame toast that i don’t eat ! my partner only eats that ! what a joke not even a phone all to give me a different option i !!!! the salt pepper chips where bland after asking in notes for lots of flavour ! About 3 onions with them shocking tonight £25 order !!

First time ordering our usual Chinese was closed. Won’t order again, salt & chilli chips may aswell have been plain chips not a lot of “salt & chilli”. Sweet & sour was ok chicken wasn’t the best. Prawn crackers fell apart when putting food on them. Will stick to my usual.

Finally got round to trying this Chinese. I’ve found a gem. This is now my go to for Chinese food. Really quick delivery. Curry sauce is nice and am picky. Salt and pepper chicken is really fresh and tasty. Since my first order around Christmas I’ve ordered around 3 times more. Would defo recommend.

First time ordering was class 🤌🏼 chips were nice and crispy not like the soggy ones most places deliver. Spicy chicken fried rice was good maybe add more spice and sauce had a good kick to it I like my food really spicy so maybe offer option to make things extra hot! defo order again.

Chow mein bland and noodles where like mush no flavour after asking them in notes to put in alot of onions and soy sauce as had been the same a couple times and no flavour meal ruined won’t order again

Best Chinese about☺️ only thing I would change is the pancake rolls would like them with bean sprouts and more meat they are just like like mini spring rolls but a bit bigger. always read and follow notes with your preferences you would like with your food too great wee place ☺️….

Food lovely but I got the spicy chicken fried rice to try and it wasent spicy at all all or different from a normal chicken fried rice still nice tho but not what it says on menu will say on my next order aboot it still be back ☺️

I had a takeaway in this place a couple of years ago and it was good. I don't know if this place had now changed hands, but wasn't a good experience this time. Ordered over the phone, when I went to collect she couldn't find my order. Eventually found it and when I got home the girl had been on the phone to my partner to ask if it was a collection or delivery she had ordered, even though it had already been picked up. Just putting meals on plates when she phoned again, think we might of mixed your meals up, what did you order, erm no that's right, everything is right, erm ok then... If that was a beef satay it was the most tastless watery one I've ever had the displeasure of eating, was tasteless, more like watery gravy, it was swimming (see photos). Salt and chilli chips were also tasteless, was more just like ordinary chips with onions on top. Both were nothing like how they are at any other takeaway. The veg sweet and sour was ok though. All in all, a ruined dinner, really disappointed....

First time ordering as I’m not from the area and it was delicious! Waited quite a bit for delivery but understandable with it being so close to Christmas and a Saturday night. Worth the wait! Oh and lovely service when part of my order had been left with the driver by mistake. Will definitely order again when I’m next in the area!

I have had several lunchtime specials in happy eat and decided to drive up at the weekend I got the extra hot chicken breast curry with fried rice it was outstanding and what a fantastic portion also I kept a wee bit of it for lunch on Saturday afternoon I will certainly be back soon top quality food and fast service with friendly staff

we ordered from über eats and put in the wrong address i called the restaurant and asked if they could update the driver :) our food came and it was delicious friendly staff and food was lovely and good size portions highly recommend this place

Fab wee Chinese. Staff are lovely. Food is always spot on. Been visiting for a few years.

Waited more than 2 hours for a delivery, kept telling us it was on the way, then they cancelled the order at 2 and a half hours. Shocking service.

Ordered Chips and curry sauce for collection. Chips were dried out and solid and the curry sauce was watered way down that it was even hard to tell that it was curry. Won't being going back!

Tried this takeaway again for the first time in a couple of years. Only ordered a chow mein for my son and a chicken curry one box for myself. It was delicious

Does not taste like Chinese food to be honest, only reason I used it was because it was Monday and my local one was closed, will never buy from here again, sorry to have to post this but the food was not nice.

Have used a few times, and very impressed. Best Chinese takeaway I have tried in the area. Has items like Dim Sum on the menu that a lot of other Chinese takeaways don't offer.

Well for the second time had a Delivery and again it was wrong. Contacted Happy Eats to collect delivery as it was disgrace and also not cooked right! Will never use again 😡😡😡😡😡

Just got a takeaway from happy eat crspy shredded chicken and spicy chicken pancake rolls absolutely lovely no ham in the pancake rolls which I don't like anyway 👍to the chef keep it up
