Atwals Fish And Chicken Bar in Glasgow City

Got sausage supper chips where cold and reheats sausage nice tho phoned them and staff said will sort out next time won't be a next time avoid

I ordered a fish supper and a sausage supper, food was amazing, great price, and always served with a smile.

I ordered large fries and chicken nuggets which also came with fries. I am indifferent the fries are unseasoned soggy and almost mushy when they got to me. The nuggets were also very blunt. May be I didn’t know what to order

Got an absolute honking roll on kebab for mu daughter complained and was told meat had just been sliced despite no kebab meat on display also my two hamburger suppers were just edible try to avoid like the plague

I went there on Saturday teatime and it was shut when they were advertising that they were open-No sign up saying why they were closed 😒

We were out shopping in Glasgow and looked on Google to see what chip shops were open on Tues late lunch, Atwals was the closest so thought we would give it a try. Well the food was cooked fresh and was delicious, we ordered smoked sausage supper, sausage supper and small fish supper with fritters. The batter was a beautiful golden colour and crispy, the fish was a good size with big flakes and smoked sausage had a lovely crispy skin, the sausage was full of flavour and juicy (Not greasy), the chips and fritters were perfect. Nothing was greasy, the staff were very friendly and I would definitely recommend. If I am in the area I will be visiting again.

Why was I allowed to place an order on Uber Eats at 19:30 17th Jan with intent to deliver between 21:00-21:30 when the shops closed, I got the notification at 21:30 to say the order was cancelled so I called and heard the recorded message saying your closed till the 19th. I've just finished a 12 hour shift, I'm hungry, tired and now pretty angry. I'm working tomorrow I cant stay up waiting on another order or go to bed starving cause I'm up again for work tomorrow. I've never left a review before and this might be a reflection on uber eats as opposed to the restaurant but you would never book a table hours in advance to then let customers turn up at the door to find out the shop is shut.

Today is Friday the 17th of May 2019 and its 20.13, I very ordered an Atwals Chippy Box.......it was delivered promptly and courteously by a lovely lady who I didn't manage to get the name of but I digress, the food is Delicious to say the least. Fritters, Chips, Chicken Nuggets, Fish, Pizza, pie, Burger and Sausage..........and 2 tubs of dipping sauce. Am in heaven right now, real Friday night grub and so Tasty. A huge Thank You to all at Atwals.............I know where my next Takeaway is coming from. Yours Gratefully......Eric xx

The food is always hot and and very tasty. Staff always friendly on the phone. Delivery people are great too
