Avoid spare ribs!3 were all fat n the other three seriously lacked any meat The beef curry was OK,guy delivered to my back door,as opposed to front door n damaged it coming in n lucky I was in the kitchen at the time,as we've a German shepard who wouldn't have been pleased with him if he'd been loose, our gate has a latch with an unlocked padlock on it which he must have taken off to enter Phoned them to let them know n wasted my time,as only got excuses Not going back!

Lunch today was as usual great. Served by Katy she was polite and efficient. Backed up by hannah. Penne arribata was delicious. Followed by chocolate fudge cake. Wheel chair friendly. Thanks again

We had a chance to have lunch at the Rock & Spindle during a recent visit to St Andres. The restaurant is located on the Castle Course, which I was told was the most difficult golf course to play in the area. The restaurant sits on the 9th and 18th fairways, directly on the North Sea. Spectacular views. There is a gift shop attached. The food and service were okay, nothing to rave about, but a beautiful place to enjoy the scenery. We tried the Haggis Balls with whiskey sauce. Crossed it off the bucket list and moved on.

Visited today as we were in Clarkston. There were so many offers to choose from Burger and pint £10 appealing to my husband then we noticed a seniors menu 2 course £6.99, 3 course £7.99 my husband had his order ready before I’d even looked at the menu 🤣. In a nutshell it was for the money fabulous. We both had the soup and bread to start then I chose Fish, chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce, husband had hunters chicken with salad and chips we then had desserts chocolate brownie with ice cream and a Jam Roly poly with custard. It was delicious and the service by Craig was excellent so much so we stayed for another drink and had a lovely Friday afternoon and will definitely be back.
