Subway in East Renfrewshire

As I have said elsewhere, Subway food is pretty much the same whichever store you go to so it is the staff and location that makes a difference, although the turnover seems very high. I've not been here for a while, but don't think I've ever seen the same staff twice. This one had a very nice lady behind the counter, but she was a bit busy with delivery orders and so service was not immediate. Not to long, but not fast by any means. I imagine that varies throughout the day, but be aware that at mealtimes the phone orders may be getting priority as they are timed. Prices also seem to have risen sharply recently, but that seem the same with many places at the moment.

Ordered from Just Eat 2 hours ago and absolutely no sign of a driver coming any time soon! The fact that I can’t even get through to this restaurant via phone is a complete joke as well. Get a grip, if you want to do just eat then make sure you can do it first!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pathetic once again

I've not been in here for nearly two years and so was not surprised to see unfamiliar staff, it is the sort of place where people come and people go. Nice people here now though, not overly chatty but pleasant. There was a new type of bread as an option - it is nice to see a bit of variety - but the standard deals were all there, which is good for me as I almost always choose the same thing. This location only has a few spaces to eat inside, standing at the window, with no seating as it is too small for all of that. However, just 30 seconds up the road is a nice bench - or there is a local park space across the road near the library. Both good options when it is not raining. I'd avoid standard lunch-times at this location as schoolkids are regulars and the queue can get to impressive standards. We arrived around 13:30 and that was all done with. Good food, good choices and a good price - what is not to love!

Was introduced to this take-away venue by the grandchildren who love getting a snack or lunch occasionally. So my wife and I have also enjoyed joining them at different times. The food is excellent, well prepared and good value for money. Being able to also get drinks means you have everything you need. We will use again.

The Subway in Clarkston is just fantastic the service is fast and the sandwiches are very well prepared and extremely fresh just good old healthy food, and very tasty the boss is an extremely pleasant guy and a very good asset to the subway chain he always serves with a smile 10 out of 10 from me

I always enjoy a subway but this particular one is my favourite. The staff are excellent and know exactly how to make a good sandwich it might sound funny but i really can tell the difference in other branches. customer service wise they are amazing. Other stores should take note instead of looking misserable lol

The food at a subway is always good, and good value. The menu changes a little to avoid getting stale (a bad, but deliberate pun!). I tend to have the same things each time though unless one of the focussed items really grabs my attention. Today I went in while it was the start of the lunchtime rush. As ever there was only one person serving, but she did a pretty good job of keeping the orders moving.

For a snack sandwich I can't fault it. They have lots of different breads to choose from and a vast choice of fresh filings. Quick and efficient and reasonable prices too.

Our grandchildren were keeping us right at the start of the school holidays while their parents were at work. They chose well to go to this venue for a takeaway lunch. There was a good choice so we all got what we wanted, served quickly after giving order and all six meals were good quality and very good value for money. There are other similar venues nearby but we will be returning to this one for another nice meal.
