New Corner in East Renfrewshire

Avoid spare ribs!3 were all fat n the other three seriously lacked any meat The beef curry was OK,guy delivered to my back door,as opposed to front door n damaged it coming in n lucky I was in the kitchen at the time,as we've a German shepard who wouldn't have been pleased with him if he'd been loose,our gate has a latch with an unlocked padlock on it which he must have taken off to enter Phoned them to let them know n wasted my time,as only got excuses Not going back!

Was gutted to see the lasagna was taken off the menu, already off to a bad start. Backup option was to go for the muchie box, cautiously ordered as I have heard reports of it arriving in a bin bag but Mr Big Portions isn't a coward. Spring rolls looked like they were 'cooked' on the delivery drivers bonnet, seen albino's with more colour to them. Rice was a packet of uncle Ben's with a note saying "do it yourself". I should have known this would be the case when the order arrived 17 seconds after being placed. To their credit the munchie box did arrive in a box, with a distinctive IKEA logo on the side, 5/10 would maybe order again

Chicken is watery and soft , it is not authentic but just fast food made in a rush . Salt and chili chips are hard crisp and very oily . Very young school boy taking orders .

Consistently the best Chinese takeaway in my opinion. I'm reluctant to try anywhere else now. Keep up the good work guys.

This has changed dramatically over the last couple of months since their head staff member has left. My wife was left in tears tonight at how she was spoken to by a child, the parents refused to come out and speak with her after sending out the wrong order 3 times! The place is dirty, food below average and service the worst I’ve ever experienced. Will never be back. Jasmine at Clarkston Toll is lovely and a respectable restaurant. Please go here instead if you want a nice meal and not served by a 9 year old!

There food is cold and they told me to put in micro wave then they told me on Facebook ot to come back there words John Kilpatrick that’s great thanks why would u even want to put fried food in a microwave please don’t come back 😂 ps because yous told me to.

The food was fantastic as always the staff are very friendly and the place is spotless. Highly recommended as never a let down will give it 10 out 10

Excellent Chinese food. Lovely service. Even some freebies chucked in. Tried all the locals when I moved to Clarkston a few years ago and this was the best. Don’t bother with anywhere else!

We have had more than our normal share of takeaways recently for one reason or another and without fail we always receive great food and great service from The New Corner. I would highly recommend this takeaway and suggest people ignore any negative reviews and try for themselves.

I’ve tried various local Chinese got takeaway. I got special fried rice and turbo chow mein. Both were good and the portion size is very generous. Of the Chinese I have now tried this has been the best takeaway. I will definitely get more from here. I won’t be going back to the others.

New Corner is a real favourite for Chinese takeaway in our house, we’ve tried them all locally over the years and New Corner is the best. Really tasty food, generous portions, great prices and superb customer service. They can also do any dish with Tofu which we love, our Tofu favourites are with Black Bean Sauce or Salt & Chilli. Their Chicken Satay is amazing, Turbo Chow Mein and Honey Chilli Chicken all popular dishes in our house too. Highly recommend this place, give it a try, you’ll be glad you did.

Have used many times, as is local. Generally food of a good quality. One point we noticed, and know not alone with this, price charged and what it is off the menu do not match. On home delivery told ‘ new menus being printed’ It happened on collection too

Excellent food and speedy delivery. The large spring rolls, rice and soft noodles are all exceptional. Sweet and sour chicken was excellent. Highly recommended.
