12 Greenlaw Place, Greenlaw Village, Newton Mearns, Scotland
Very disappointed to report that I attempted to visit this restaurant with friends. Having checked the website I noted that it was not necessary to book a table on a Sunday so we just turned up. To our surprise and disappntment, it was shut! This is a fairly new business so they need to ensure their website information matches that on the door!!!
This was a pleasant place for a coffee and cake though the service was a bit slow. It closed for Christmas and was due to reopen on December 27 but is still closed.
Had a beautiful day at wedding at Falside Mill, venue was fantastic, food was fantastic. The day was spoiled by one member of staff clearing peoples drinks from table when they were up dancing, I stopped him from doing it twice as I knew the guests hadn't left.
When I want up to the dance floor for the last dance with the rest of the table he cleared the whole table of drinks, it wasn't closing time as the bar was still serving drinks.
I was going to complain at the time but didn't want to cause a scene, only disappointment of the evening!

I don't know who set this location up, but they seem to have added it as a restaurant rather than a petrol station with snacks etc. on offer as most do.
It's a fine place to get fuel, but nothing is different to any other local station!
This Costa is housed in Auldhouse Retail Park and not surprisingly looks like a converted warehouse. The inside is a bright coffee shop with lots of lighting. The staff are nice, the coffee and food is to the usual Costa standard. The same can't be said for the furnishing though. There's more cheap wooden chairs than is usual for Costa, so the place feels a lot less "upmarket" compared to the average Costa Coffee.
Bit off a con... ordered flake and Nutella cookie dough wae ice cream...cheap choc spread not Nutella...one tiny scoop of ice cream even paid extra for it ..no taste off coconut that I ordered..partners ice cream meant be kinder choc no flavour either...rather expensive for wot u get....but cookie dough is lovely ..guys really nice ...still ate Every bit though...a will try it again one day
I tried the smoked sausage supper with a single scampi. I normally go to other places, so I was curious how this place compared. The staff were nice and friendly. The options for different ways to have haddock and glutton free options are interesting. I found the chips good but the scampi was processed and little different from chicken nuggets. This was disappointing. The smoked sausage is really just a large hot dog. Again this was a bit disappointing. I may give the fish a go but I won’t be doing the scampi or sausage again.
First time in for a quick bite. The food was okay, I got a pie that I though would be hot but it was barely warm. I had to eat it with a spoon, there were no knives or forks. It tasted fine. The seating are was not clean. Most of the tables had evidence of the previous customer and the floor badly needed swept.
Shop was busy and was not restocking so had a poor choice of food.. Chicken goujons were delicious it's a shame that the spicy potato wedges were NOT Spicy and very, very bland. Sandwich pizza and sausage roll were great.
