food arrived with no heat in it. asked for no onion in chow mein but it was loaded with onions so that had to go into the bin. cold chips and cold fried rice for dinner? I think not. won't order again.

Food was delicious as always! Never had a bad meal. Delivery drivers always friendly.

So disappointed! Food arrived and looked amazing. My partner pointed out a fishy smell coming from the chicken, and he was right. The salt and chilli chicken was completely off. Never again and severely disappointed.

Order was over 2 hours late! Called restaurant 3 times and was kept on the phone for 10 while the person answering started to serve customers. 1st time calling was told that the food would be delivered in 10 minutes after 40 mins called back and they where unable to say when the food would be delivered

chicken curry was more spicer than normal and too spicy to eat 👎

Ordered by phone, including chicken noodle soup young Chinese woman threw a strop saying I ordered chicken mushroom soup when I went to collect. She then asked what my name was I told her they hadn't taken my name which I realised after I'd placed my phone order, another childish tantrum ensues. Pathetic. Didn't end there, opened the bag the spare ribs were in a polystyrene container filled to the brim with sauce, wrapped in cellophane. Sauce over every container total mess. Ribs were terrible too, never again, disgrace.

from placing the order it took 1 hour and 40 mins to be delivered we are very local had to contact the restaurant twice, was told it was already on its way, it took a further 40 minutes.

Best Chinese in Govan, always fast, always hot and always 10/10 no point in ordering from any other Chinese in G51 tbh

I don't think I should be charged for delivery fee if just round the corner. I shouldn't be charged for a minute round the corner.

food was lovely very spicy although order prawn crackers with food and paid for them but no prawn crackers..

Would not order from here again!! Had to wait over 2 hours for delivery after phoning 2 times asking where our food was as app said it has been “delivered” and had to wait longer on food as we couldn’t cancel the order because according to the app, our food was delivered. 1 star because the delivery driver was nice and apologetic unlike the person on phone.

Waited almost 3 hours for delivery despite saying it had been delivered within the given timeframe obviously letting Just Eat think that their service is good! Every time I called was told 10 minutes. Fuming! Eventually went to shop to be told it was out for delivery! Never use again

Food was just warm, had to reheat even though takeaway was about 2mins walk from my house. Sauce was also missing from order.

Ooft this place is disgusting. Ordered food on a Saturday night and stood and waited for it to be cook, chicken was rock solid and the chips tasted like it was reheated a million times. Won’t be back.

Special fried rice is delish orderd a wee extra tub of the gravey so there was plenty sauce , and quick delivery.

Ribs where lovely I asked for two small chipsn curry sauce I got two large ones could not eat them because the curry sauce was very very firey

Amazing food and fast with delivery

Usually really enjoy the food from here. However tonight we ordered chips, fried rice and gravy. The gravy was bare minimum. Also had honey chilli chicken, it was completely inedible. The chicken was so tough and chewy, definitely not worth the price, will never order that dish again.

the curry sauce is far to spicy I could not enjoy my brest chicken curry because of the curry sauce

Food is great and probably the best Chinese in the area however I always wonder what a chicken curry tastes like without onions in it as I always ask to have none but usually have more onions than chicken 🤣

Food is normally nice to tell the truth service has been absolutely shocking the last twice sent away with the wrong order and had to go back with it myself to get mine after already driving home , and this week I ordered and call up to ask for no prawns in food as allergic for it to be sent with them then when order has been resent to me it taste burnt and wasn’t nice at all

waited over an hour and phoned to see where our order was to be told it was out for delivery, phoned them again half an hour later and were told they were going to check order and phone us back, phoned again half an hour later and they said it was out for delivery. 3 and a half hours and 3 phone calls later there is still no delivery, we have phoned another takeaway. absolutely shambolic service, avoid at all cost

“Crispy won tons” not sure what on earth meat was in them it was missing the sweet chilli sauce. There was nearly any sauce on the ribs, the sauce that was there was as runny as water. The house chow mein there were pieces of meat that I don’t know what it was… possibly spam? The praws smell and taste like they or off. Over all I would not suggest eating from here.

Most of this was actually really good. The prawn crackers in particular were better than my regular Chinese. But I ordered peking sauce.....and i dont know what it was they sent me but it stank like vinegar and tasted like watered down brown sauce. Like chippy sauce? It was foul.

Normally great - just wasn’t very hot (temp) which is weird I ordered it ten minutes prior to being told to collect.

Food a was awful, chips had been cooked several times. The meat was clearly out of tin just disgusting

Chips were rubbish, dry reheats, curry was congeled, ckn balls were soggy, edible but thats it, had high hopes due to the reviews but left disapointed

Ordered tonight in house wrong order when I came home phoned them and they wanted to charge me for a delivery charge the food was disgusting salt and pepper chips were rock hard I will never order from here again all food went in the bin £13.80 what a waste of money

Best Chinese in Glasgow unreal food and portion sizes and stick to the collection times. Can’t recommend enough been my fave place for 5 years

For someone who doesn’t come from Glasgow when myself and my partner were looking for something to eat we seen the reviews for happy house and it didn’t disappoint. If we are ever in Glasgow again we shall be back. Excellent meal, recommend highly

Hi my order never came so it was a total wast of my money I have just wasted £17 and never got the order will not be ordering from here again as I am not impressed never even got a phone call from the driver never even got the option to phone the company when I found the number and tried to phone the company there was no answer the service and product was not up to standard am really dissatisfied and annoyed

Delivery was fab, lovely driver and no issues with the restaurant however the food was so bland with no taste. Wouldn’t order from here again. Chips were battered which is good but absolutely no seasoning or taste to it. Better restaurants in area with tasty food, this just had 0 taste!

Really surprised at the low overall rating of happy house. Tried this place 3 times now and each time it's been spot on. Curry sauce is amazing. Portion sizes are great aswell. Well worth a try, far better than alot of higher rated places in the southside

A bit disappointed this time round. Ordered the honey chilli chicken but did not enjoy the quality of the chicken, texture put me off.

Food is amazing from here, portion size is enormous and I couldn’t finish it plus speedy service and friendly delivery driver.

Just picked up order of half portion of beef curry and rice. Omg i'm just glad it was only a half portion as it was absolutely awful and went in the bin. Beef was as tough as old boots sauce was so thick you could have danced on it and there was very little in the way of onions. They had a cheek to add 10% service charge for pick up. Give this place a wide berth in future

Just moved here and was worried I’d not find as good a Chinese as back home…. But this place is the best Chinese I’ve ever had! Food came 30 minutes early, was roasting and fresh and everything tasted great! Chicken is perfect, sauce is fantastic, and the best bit is the salt and chilli chips come battered?! As in, they’re double battered. This is what heaven tastes likes, lying in ma belly

Dreadful food absolutely dreadful read the reviews before ordering some people have given it great reviews but no no no the environmental health should visit this hell hole.

Very helpful food is every good and delicious food and service is great and prices are good
