King's Takeaway in Glasgow City

Was quite busy but managed to get served in a timely manner. Would highly recommend the chips cheese and chicken pakora.

Probably the worst doner in my life, thick-cut meat, the worse quality I've ever tryed, Food for drinkers.

Wasn't the best food I've ever had. I think the targeted audience is patrons from pubs at closing time. Quick service, fairly busy. Food is halal, kebabs, chips and pakora etc. My pakora was burned and greasy. Wouldn't visit again.

Best fresh chicken kebab ever perfect spice n homemade👌and always open at the times ye want a kebab the dinner meat is on point aswell as prices usually a mixed kebab n chips is about the 7.50 mark price wise in the town that time a night they’re the only guys selling quality foood at quality prices the time a night in town n ye won’t be disappoint with the portions👌

Worst dry kebab I ever got. Told them it was take away def took advantage of the fact. Taste like two day old kebab meat

Worst food! Ordered chicken and chips. Chicken was smelly and dry. Felt like puking after the first mouth. Paid £9 to just dump the food in the trash.

0 stars I witnessed a staff member smoke inside the opening of the door way (I have pictures to prove it with time & date on it as well he finished cigarette threw it onto pavement with his hand that had blue glove on it he walks back into restaurant touches speakers in corner with both hands walks behind counter & then starts touching kebab area food prep area & starts cutting both kebab meats on both skewers @ window with hand wearing blue glove that he was smoking & didn’t wash hands after touching cigarette speakers or other stuff I’m glad I took pictures of this absolutely disgusting

Best kebab in the town! I work down the road and I go for lunch nearly every day! The service is great(good banta) and they give you decent portions, compared to everyone else round there it's reasonable prices with good quality food! Highly recommend!

Visitamos este lugar para llevar a la 1 de la madrugada de ayer y fue uno de los pocos lugares en el centro de la ciudad de Glasgow que permanecer abierto hasta las 4 de la mañana hasta las vacaciones de fin de semana durante largos. Las pizzas eran fantásticos y estaban más que dispuestos a satisfacer nuestras necesidades dietéticas de evitar cebolla y ajo en una base de salsa de tomate. las pizzas eran de gran calidad y fresca. Sin duda recomiendo este más y continuará con una visita.

It's pretty much the perfect place to go for a late night kebab post-pub. The food was what you would expect it to be. Pakoras/kebabs/pizzas. Pretty reasonably priced too.

I've been going in here for about six years now with my kids and have never had a bad meal. The staff are very friendly, they never get the order mixed up and my daughter prefers the pizza from here (fresh base) to Pizza hut. My preference is the chicken doner or the mixed doner, my kids lover the pizza, and wife usually goes for the spicy chicken burger. I've never been at night, but take the kids there at the weekend on occasion.

My flabber was well and truly ghasted as I stumbled upon this delightful, charming little gem in the heart of Glasgow city centre. Being something of a connoisseur when it comes to the late night pig out joints in Glasgow I tucked into my King Kebab with a feral excitement. The meat was tender, well seasoned and held together nicely by the bread and crunch of the salad. The whole experience was just enhanced by the cleanliness of the cafe and the staff were polite and knowledgable about their menu; one of them even told me that the cheese they use to smother your chips was processed out of a factory in Bellshill. It's this attention to detail that left me mind blown. I can't recommend this place highly enough, I'd estimate I've eaten here around 200 times in the past year or so (seriously, my appetite for this place is insatiable!) and, other than a chronic, aching diarrhea and the odd bout of sickness, I can't say it hasn't been money well spent. In short, if the blood is just flying through those arteries of yours then head to Kings!

This particular establishment is not just making profit on food but also swindling their customer's properties left within the establishment. I had left my mobile phone there, and then I went back to them the next day, but they said that they don't have it. As you can read below, many customers have complained of a same thing.

In recent months Glasgow's been in the middle of a bun-based arms race. Over a decade ago Daniel Boulud's restaurant put the DB burger on his menu. It cost $32 and people gasped - "It's a brazen liberty to take with a burger!" But people bought it and bought in, eventually reaching its meaty conclusion with the gourmet-burger restaurant. Not that this sit-in grease spoon burger, kebab and pizza joint care. They're quite happy serving frozen burgers, chips and a can for a few quid* to students and fast food junkies like me. This "burger revolution" has passed them by, but no bad thing! There's a time and place for queuing around the block to savour that handmade steak patty that the chef's so evangelical about, but for other quick on the foot times this will do nicely - but only just. *£3.20 at time of writing.

I lost my purse in King's after a night out about 3 weeks ago, got a call today to say the owner had handed it in to the police with everything still in it, money, cards etc. Thank you King's!

I went into this place to order some veggie pakora for lunch and boy did I pay for it! Later in the evening, I had constant sickness and diarrhoea through to the early hours of the morning. I chose this place purely because it is nearby my work and it is always occupied by customers. I think I now have a phobia of eating pakora thanks to this place.

Only went here after a night out last night because bistro had a power cut. Because bistro wasn't open this place was really busy. They obviously aren't used to having customers as the staff were ridiculously rude and had terrible manners. The cleaner walked into us on the way past and we said excuse me and they turned round and said 'don't be cheeky, If you keep that up you'll be thrown out' lovely! When we ordered our food the man that served us was also extremely rude for no reason and again told us we would be thrown out. When we eventually got our £4.90 large kebab it was about half the size of what you would get in bistro and I promptly told all of the staff members what I thought of their disgusting attitudes. Never go here! Bistro is just 2 mins down the road and is amazing

We went in here tonight for a quick munch, ordered a chicken donner and a lamb donner, came home and whilst eating we saw at the bottom, half of the box was filled with thick brown oil. Totally not amused, and I have never seen such a thing in my life. We threw the food away and will never be eating from here again. Absolutely disgusted.

My friends son ate in here a few nights ago. He left the establishment as the shutter was being closed. Realised he had left his expensive jacket inside, returned next day to collect it and was told it wasn't there - lies, dishonest people, not to be trusted.

My son and his friends visited Kings late last nights after a night out.When they left the place closed and they were the last to leave.My son discovered he had left his jacket behind.As it had closed he returned today to be told his jacket was not there.Disappointing and a lie, they will not be back.
