McDonald's in Glasgow City

Went for a takeaway and got my order wrong missing items was already home when I noticed

This has to be the worst McDonald's I've been to in Glasgow, they never have ice cream or milkshakes regardless of the time of day you go and even if you order the basics like chicken nuggets or a big macs they ask you to take a space even when not busy. Avoid at all costs.

Tried to pay with cash and was ignored by 4 members of staff. After a 10min wait, I managed to catch the attention of a member of staff who managed to get someone to serve me, but I got the feeling I was causing an issue by trying to pay by cash. Once I got my food, it was sub-par and cold. I think next time I will just go to Greggs faster service and better customer service, at least they are happy to take cash. This restaurant had a dirty, deep fat fryer smell to it on the day I visited. I feel that since McDonalds started with Argos style order on a screen there customer service has gone out the window.

We have just visited Robroyston McDonalds and our server Alana was a star. She was pleasant, efficient and deserves some recognition for her hard work!

There is always an issue at this restaurant, they are constantly slow, get orders wrong and the staff are basically uninterested. Wound avoid and go to another in the area.

Good position for a MacDonald’s

I went through the drive-thru and ordered two chicken mayo burgers with no lettuce and two frozen drinks. From the moment I paid at the window, it took close to 25 minutes to get my food — which is already completely unacceptable. What did I get after all that waiting? Two chicken mayo burgers with NO MAYO. I clearly said no lettuce, not no mayo. I corrected the server immediately, thinking it was just a simple mix-up. But no — it then took another 15–20 minutes for them to remake the burgers. I was absolutely furious. I’ve worked this job before — it’s not rocket science — so I know firsthand how simple and quick this should’ve been. Yet again, the Robroyston McDonald’s proved just how incompetent their staff can be. But the real kicker? I got home, opened the bags, and guess what — the burgers were exactly the same as before. Buns, chicken, lettuce. No mayo. Again. After half an hour of waiting, repeating myself, and giving them the chance to fix it, they still couldn’t get the order right. I didn’t even bother eating it. Threw it out to the foxes because that’s all it was good for — a literal dog’s dinner. The service was atrocious, the wait time was beyond ridiculous, and the lack of basic comprehension from the staff was embarrassing. There’s absolutely no excuse for this level of stupidity. If you can’t handle making a basic burger, you shouldn’t be working there. Simple as that.

Every single order is wrong cannot listen to simple instructions order is on ticket yet still wrong and order most is missing unsure off employee criteria but for buisiness this size simply un acceptable

I ordered a chicken burger, double cheeseburger and 2medium chips. I asked for no roll with the cheeseburger. My friend is gluten free. I was at my friend's in less than five minutes and the chips were cold and beef and chicken were Luke warm. The beef was on a roll instead of the chicken. This meant my friend could not have her food. We did not have time to go back. Very disappointed. It is a long time since I have had a McDonalds and it will be a long time, if ever, I go back.

If it can be avoided, let it be avoided.

Worst McDonald's in the area. No point in saying what you want or not, it's always wrong! Staff are ignorant and rude.

Perfect for a coffee n burger... Same as every other one really. Decent retail park it's in tho 👍

This has got to be one of the worst McDonald’s ever. Drive through that makes you park for about ten minutes for your food for it to be cold. Alternatively go into the sit in area to collect and it’s full of delivery drivers and you wait about 20 mins for your order. If they can’t cope they should not be accepting orders from just eat etc. feel sorry for the staff that work their getting grief from angry customers. If you can’t provided a decent service shut up shop and do us all a favour .

Went tonight to get my son and his friend happy meals. Waited 35minutes for it even though it wasn’t busy! Then when I did get it the drinks where wrong went back in and stood 10minutes for someone to ask if I needed help! Then waited another 5minutes just to get the correct drink. The staff’s attitude is shocking bad and not one of them has any customer service between them there all far too young and rude! Then got home chips were cold and not even in a bag!

Cold food had to be sent back, seems to be the theme these days at McDonald's no quality checks on food going out.

the big mac has cheese on it again, we asked for no cheese because we can't eat cheese so the big mac is in the bin!!! shocking again. refund please

Meal arrived and it was absolutely freezing it went straight into the bin

Absolutamente horrible, la leche era agria como si hubiera salido, o eso o alguien quería envenenar a los clientes allí. También entiendo que la hamburguesa está destinada a ser picante, pero esto fue vómito induciendo picante, Es como si se equivocaron con las porciones de condimento y fueron a la ciudad en la especia. La hamburguesa estaba helada, así que quizás querían compensarlo añadiendo calor en otro lugar. Me quejé a McDonalds ya que mis 2 hijos son autistas y allí los batidos podrían haber hecho que se sintieran gravemente mal, por no mencionar que me costó £ 21 por alimentos apenas comestibles. ¿Su respuesta? Tenga un vale para una comida mediana gratis. Franquicia impactante, la peor de todas y el hecho de que McDonalds se preocupe tan poco por ella es igual de malo.

The food was stone cold. The delivery driver was riding a bike and we live a long distance from the McDonald’s we ordered from. Unhappy with this service.

Charged for the raspberry pie and didn’t arrive in order

Food wasn’t great quality and wraps very very poor quality . Driver was friendly and nice and fast service . But sadly McDonald’s poor quality iff food

Everything was stone cold the time of delivery kept changing so I assume it’s been laying there the whole time

We never received the Big Mac in the order so can you send it back out

Missing half of my order. Missing drinks and condiments. Cold fries scattered about the bag with half of them missing.

Food was bagged at 17.02 and delivered 17.50. It takes 15 mins max from restaurant to my house. This seems to be the norm now, it says 15-30 mins when ordering, never arrives in this time, always well over an hour.

Every time I order a milkshake their machine is broken.

Definitely deliver was excellent

hi my food was brick hard and absolutely freezing, poor service again from the same restaurant

And it was cold had put it into my microwave to eat it up not even a slight eat was cold and the sauce wasn’t there aswell

the orange drink was leaking and was less than half full when delivered, as too the cola drink was 3/4 full, deeply disappointed though it arrived on time, now have to go to the shop to get drinks.

ordered at 8:15 said 8:50 then delayed me a hour nothing to do with delivery driver just annoyed as i am at work and was hungry aswell as being delayed an hour i would expect the meal to be a bit warmer and chips to be in much better quality

My original delivery slot was 5.20pm. It kept being changed to a later time. Eventually nearly an hour late it was delivered.

ordered a minecraft meal - no collectible, basically spent 2 extra quid on a medium big mac meal - food was also cold.

Another wrong order at mcdonalds robroyston drive thro. Sprites were soda water and cheeseburger had no cheese. Did manage to put the extra pickles on the burger. No ketchup left. Not happy at all with the service

Egg shell in my sausage and egg mc muffin as i took a bit and something was crusty i opened it up and there was egg shell and they forgot my syrup for pancakes

Overall good experience. Enough parking spaces, Friendly staff, Disabled parking spaces, good seating arrangements. We had ordererd a big meal and the staff was quick to address the cold meal and offer a replacement. Sounds like a place that values its customers!

Doesn't matter how many sauces you pay for, they never bring them. I don't know why they are treated differently to any other item you buy!

Waited 35 minutes, the driver then put his location off took another order and delivered that first I'm actually really fed up with this carry on, its always bern one delivery at a time now the drivers are waiting for other orders and the food is always cold

One of the best McDonalds I’ve ever had , customer service on phone is great I forgot to make my burger plain phoned them and they fixed it no bother for me before the order was sent

My milkshake was quite watery and it was more vanilla than strawberry, I would always tip the driver and would have the option for tipping them after my orders delivered x

I have asked for a sweet curry sauce in this order but I didn’t receive any with my food order and I have looked for sauce for dipping on the app and I can’t seem to find any x

I ordered two Philly cheese stacks ,malteser ice cream amongst other things and the two Philly cheese stacks and the maltesser ice creams were not included in the delivery. I called the branch, only to be told to contact customer service on the App, I did this and I was still being told to contact someone else! I ended up placing another order entirely! And I was charged additional £10 for the previous order! Not so happy about this!
