McDonald's in Glasgow City

Delivery and drive through never get order right ...which means delivery your paying for items you never receive as trying to complain is imposssible aa app forwards you to deliveroo with reference that never matches , restaraunt is to noisy and cant move for delivery drivers waiting for order , and food is now mediocre actually willing to go eat out more as better service and better food even if it costs a bit more ...reward scheme isnt worth it now due to poor service and poor food

If you want a quick meal then order from Just Eat to deliver instead. You order a coke or a coffee from drive thru and you are asked to park. I asked for the reason for this to be told they are trying to improve their drive thru speeds so it's easier to park than have a car wait. I asked if this included people simply waiting for a large coke and they insisted their manager ordered them to do this to improve their timer! Shocking!!! Prioritise Delivery drivers in store too.

Absolute disaster zone, would rather serve the folk lying in their beds than the public standing infront of them. Gave 1 star since they don't do zero. Over 30 minutes to get my order, and they still got it wrong, needless to say I won't be back 🤔

Clean, tidy and well maintained. Busy with plenty seating inside and out. Large and free car park with a double drive thru. Food is as expected and cooked to order. Can order at the counter, on touch screen or on the app to be brought to your seat or car. Very fast service.

i just made a order at 12:30 am. I ordered 20 chicken nuggets and the food was cold. It seems like they didn't even heat it. Im very disappointed. So, ordering my meals at Mcd is a bad idea

Drive through, long que. Only to discover chilli dip was missing from chicken select order. No time to go back as my lunch break was over. Not been to McDonald's for a while and now I realised why. No care is taken and definitely no attention to detail.

Drive thru. No sauce as requested with chicken select meal. Cheese burger missing - charged for. Chips barely warm. Only noticed back home. Didn't drive back.

Uber eats driver. So annoying as I came in to pick up an order and had to wait over 15 mins just because the worker kept talking to her coworker. A very young lady with blond/ginger hair, asked how long to wait and was told she is the only one there to pack delivery orders but she still kept on talking and get distracted by other things when she had all the food & drinks ready and only needed to put them in a bag. I really hope that mcdonalds starts to employ more adults or other people who care about their job

This has to be one of the worst McDonald's around. Your always asked to park up and wait for your food , even when it's only a cheese burger & a chicken mayo , 15 mins I wait and my cheese burger was cold this was just the other day. Every time u get a meal the chips are half full and cold. It's so frustrating, when you are asked to park up or even if your lucky enough to not get told to park up the chips are half full or your order is wrong or they always forget something. This McDonald's really really needs to get it's act together.

Terrible waited 15 mins for a m muffin

Went thru the drive in . The place was very busy . I put an order in and was told to park up and wait for the order. After a 30 minutes wait I had to go in to find out where it was ...A further 15 minutes I received it. When I got to the car with the kids treat, it was freezing . Never again. They should have closed the drive thru until they caught up with the orders. I suppose they don't care about customers satisfaction just money.

Robroyston ur shop is rotten. Cold and horrible. Area manager should be reading the reviews . Take action! This shop is a shambles. ❌ staff have got an attitude.

I can't rate this place any lower so I'm not going to click the stars. The last 2 times my burger's and fries have been freezing. Got the Philly cheese burger, absolutely stone cold and they forgot the Philly squeeze sauce. Please don't go here, just try to make your own version, it will be far superior, I wish I took photos of the mess I got 😭

Started with getting charged with my meal as singular items ,then being told by the girl behind the counter that I scan th barcode in my bage to add points to my app. I got everything rectified after I went back into the restaurant

Always a busy place. Food is ok but nothing special. You know what you're getting. The staff are all young and I don't feel like they try to hard with anything.

Ordered from just eat at 12.07 am. I got an email saying it will be delivered between 00.45 am - 01.05 am, then it got changed to 00.55 am -01.15 am, fair enough mcdonalds accepted the order. Now it is 2.58 am and still no delivery. Checked the app, and it's telling me it got delivered at 1.00 am. I called up and asked what's going on. The guy told me to contact just eat and that they were not doing deliveries at the moment. After a few minutes of back and forth, I asked if you could confirm from the order number if it had been delivered as i hadn't received it yet. Only to be told, yeah, it has been, but we can't check. It's got nothing to do with us. it's through just eat. Obviously, you would know if you sent the order out with a just eat driver or not. Will definitely not be ordering from this branch again. Communication skills need to be addressed, no apology, no nothing. Hung up on me. Thanks Mcdonalds!

Chips were half full got back burnt ones. Burger was cold sent back got decent one back. Then took a drink they were flat. Didn't bother taking back

Food is non nutritious and not fit for human consumption. Boycott these fast food places and eat more veg!!! It's cheap and delicious.

Drive through.....big mac large, half full chips and cold big mac straight back in full chips and hot big mac much better thanks. Then the coke zero flat and no ice. So basically very poor. Don't have many McDonald's and if that's the normal won't be back.

Tonight I ordered a delivery, my cheeseburgers where frozen and also my fries stone cold, I paid for condiments and never received them, also I ordered a medium coke and got small sprite, am getting fed up with this McDonald’s always something wrong with my orders it’s a joke, followed the driver on map he went to blackhill then peterhill am in Wallacewell gate with is 3 to 4 minutes drive not ordering again

Placed a big family order on ubereats & large coke was spilled over the mcflurrys (eww). Missing lots of items. Waited ages. Not happy i called restaurant, we dont deal with ubereats is the response, i told them im bringing the full order back, they said fine. Took it up, they refused to replace any items that were damaged or even the missing food ! I said in that case i'll take a full refund & the manager (brooke) said she would need to contact ubereats & itll take 24hrs. 48hrs i have only recieved £16 back from a £67 order! Ubereats only refunded a 'partial' amount & now this store are saying its not their issue despite the manager binning ALL the food i returned so we got NOTHING. So £67 (minus partial refund of £16 so far) for food we never ate! What are they running here? A shambles of a restaurant with a manager running shifts who couldnt even run a bath. This place is consistently shocking. Do they ever get an order right? Will i ever get my money back? Thats theft! My advice is to go somewhere else. Head office & trading standards will be notified as i want my money & wont stop till i get it !!!

By far the worst mcdonalds in glasgow shame its only one that delivers to stepps as I'd avoid it at all costs otherwise, ordered here plenty times don't think iv ever had a order right in the years iv lived here, food came late, cold and missing half including the chicken nuggets for both of the kids meals so then I had to make them dinner my self absolute joke managers ought to have a good clear out your staff clearly don't care about what there doing...pointless even ordering food when you still need to go make the kids dinner after leaving them waiting a hour for nothing absolute joke of a place.

Fries are always cold and soggy. Milkshakes and mcflurries are never available. Never give ketchup with happy meals and never offer to give napkins or dips unless requested. Better off going to burger king at Bishopbriggs

Probably the worst McDonalds about. You’re regularly stuck in the drive thru for ages, there’s never any ice cream and the juice is never cold . Head to Springburn that’s 5 minutes away.

McDonald's price increases for what you're getting isn't encouraging

Each time I ask for a plain quarter pounder with nothing bit the burger and bun, I get one with cheese!!! The chips were cold and stale and the burger was horrible. You are stuck as once out the drive through what do you do?? It went in the bin

Compared to others, this store amazed me. The cleanliness in store was excellent and if it weren't for being understaffed the speed of service would've been spot on. Staff were polite and helpful and for once everything in my to go order was there!

Got this nice piece of plastic in my wife's burger... also forgot the chips with my daughters meal. Not the first time, getting an order right is a challenge for this crowd.

Early morning visit. Only ones in the place. Order took 17mins. Raw bacon. Muffins not toasted. No napkins. Poor service. Drive to the next location.

We went in to get some drinks on our way home from Glasgow. I ordered on the app for collection in store. When I went in my collection number was not on the board, so I stood to the side and waited. After about 10 mins I noticed what looked like my order sitting on the counter. My collection number was not on the ready to collect side of the board. So I went and asked. I got quite a snippy YES when I asked if that was my order. But the drinks were good for the drive home.

Having recently used the drive through, I can only assume that upon placing an order the staff then drive to another location, say Govan or perhaps Cumbernauld, before returning to Robroyston and handing over the goods. It's the only plausible explanation I can think of for the delay between placing and receiving an order. The time elapsed is most certainly not spend on preparing the order as anything I have received bears more resemblance to a piece of abstract art than it does any picture on the walls or website.

Friend and I visited McDonalds Robroyston Glasgow last night Monday 20 March. We decided to have a happy meal. The young girl who served was Lucy and was such a lovey young woman. Nothing was any bother to her. She was friendly, patient and cheerful. My fries were a bit on the cold side and when I asked for fresh ones she happily put more on to cook and few minutes later brought piping hot fresh fries right to our table. Also, my friend and I are a bit deaf and find background music distracting, I asked her if it could be turned down and she managed to turn it down. Nothiing was any problem to her, It was so refreshing to be served by a young, helpful, cheery and patient member of your staff. She is clearly an assest to the company. When you are elderly you really appreciate not being ignored. Thank you Lucy. Mary McNally

Usual, MacD fare. It's always tasty.

Ice cream was machine out of order, which it is, about 50% of the time we visit. So no McFlurry or milkshakes available. Staff are quick and efficient

So busy food average could have bn fresher I think , to many young ones aloud to sit in it with nothing making a mess however staff very nice.

They always give wrong orders and the staff is really rude and take long time to serve customers and not even a smile when you ask and look. At them they are all taking between them and leaving people waiting they don’t work at all i really don’t advise anyone to go there

Went through Drivethru. First window took my payment. Sevo d window said it declined. Had to park up go in card worked in store. Girl was very rude and treated me is it was my fault and throw my meal at me. Never again robroyston branch . Stay away folks .

what the duck!!! Actually got delivered a completey different meals!!!? 29/4/22 can't get a hold of anyone!! over £20 down the drain!!! Kids love McDonald's but you always get served cold food from 16 year olds with no clue what so ever and you always need to wait 20 mins for your cold food and if you are lucky you might just get handed your own order and not someone else's order on the first chance.... Haha.... Good luck with this place... 9/10 products from Macdonald are already cooked and frozen then delivered to each branch then heated up for your own fresh order.... I would advise anyone to avoid this branch. It is the worst. Every single time orders are wrong. They never get it right. I keep hoping it will get better. The owner should sort their branch out and their staff especially the management.

Me and my son go here every week normally great and staff are brilliant Daniel in particular is exceptional, we normally sit in,and my son max always gets a top of the range burger the one with bacon? £8 59 for a large! We always sit in! Today I had a appointment so he took it away and started eating it in van, unfortunately it was cold!! I did not have time to return as I was already in riddrie, so a wast of money!! This is a treat Thea's days as money is tight, very disappointed!!had to drop into a chippy and get him a fish supper that wasn't cheap! I only earn minimum wage so basically I worked a hour this week for nothing!!

Normal, average service in the drive-through. Ordered a milkshake to be told that the machine was ' broken'. The machine was not broken, they lied as they don't want to do their job and clean the machine. Apart from that, it's decent.

Machine taking orders did not work

After a very busy day as you can imagine it's Christmas time I didn't had a chance to cook anything for dinner so I decided to go quickly to McDonalds with my 4 and 7 years old kids. We went to drive through as we want it quick. I order some stuff for little kid for me and big mac meal for my 7 year old. We been parked as of course they were very busy so after several minutes our food arrived sk I just drove off ( never will do that again). We arrive in the house and of course big mac is missing.. which was one thing my 7 year old eats. Well I called the shop the manager was very polite and he said that he cannot deliver it to me but he gave me some code and I can come back and use it. So after my little one had some food and my 7 year old had fries from the meal we seat in the car and drove to McDonalds. There were two girls standing next to the till and one just pretended that she doesn't even see us.. so me and my two kids were waiting until one boy approached us. I have explained the situation and he called the manager to deal with us.. he asked what it needs to be replaced.. (I am like actually is not replacement as just big mac was missing nothing else) I said there was just big mac missing he said "that's all?" I said yeah so he gave me a big mac I think he did said sorry but in a way like he was doing me a favour that I came back for the big mac I actually have paid for. ( I was really shocked as he was lovely over the phone) I just said thank you and Merry christmas and walked away. It wasn't my fault that they forgot the main thing in the bag I understand that they were very busy but it's Christmas be more nice.. I don't expect to get free stuff but it would be nice if he could offer a cookie to the kids or something.. honestly it wasn't first time they forgot something.. but it was second time I actually had to drive back from home.. Just a wee advice for the future... just smile.. and apologise.. we all make mistakes.. that's OK. it's Christmas. Merry Christmas 🎄

Absolutely shocking attitude of Amy the supposed “manager” . Had nine of those skills whatsoever. I asked why on the drive thru I waited 15 mins in a queue to be presented with no one at the pay station. She said she was serving another customer. I said it’s supposed to be drive thru not drive and park and she said you weren’t parked in a very cheeky tone and I said you have a very rude attitude and she said you’re welcome!! What chance do you have if this is management ?

Service was slower than I'd expect at McDonald's. Buns were over-flowing, so suspect they were a tad under-staffed when I was there.

The self service terminal had no connection for card payments. Burgers were good but my fries were warm and limp. Fries should not be flaccid.
