Stuart's Kitchen in West Dunbartonshire

Bought a fish supper and the batter was actually burnt down one side. The fish inside was the most dried out fish I've ever eaten in my life. It was too much hassle to return it, but I'll vote with my feet and take my business elsewhere.

I’m not sure what it is with the staff here but automatically adding a service charge with terrible service is probably the problem. They feel like they don’t have to work for it. The female staff were friendly and helpful but the males were particularly terrible. Twice the table next to us were asked if they wanted more drinks while we had empty glasses. Our food also went to the wrong table even though we went to the bar and told them we had moved due to noisy children. My partner was ignored at the bar for 10-15 mins while’s females were served before him. Was looking to book a spa weekend but we are well and truly put off. No thanks.

How do you get a philly cheese stack confused with a cheeseburger? Who's making sure the orders are correct? Stevie Wonder?

First visit. Decent coffee. Nice seating area. Will return.
