The best restaurants in Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

First visit here a few weeks ago and it’s as lovely inside as the restaurant is from the outside. The staff were so friendly, the food was delicious and they do a real good Aperol spritz! I particularly loved how every table was spaced out so whilst the place was full and buzzing, you weren’t sat on top of each other. I’d definitely recommend and will definitely be back ✨

Always enjoy a visit to Little Rascal. Should go more often but life gets in the way. It’s friendly and non fussy. Relaxing and informative when the owners instruct on what wine to drink! They know what they’re talking about and selections have always matched our expectations. Great selection of wine obviously. Per glass and per bottle. If wine isn’t your thing then other options are available. And the cheese and charcuterie selection adds to a lazy afternoon. And to top if off there is the possibility that a dog enters. Always brings a smile.

Pizza was amazing. Staff extremely welcoming.

I ordered a lamb burger. Very dry cutlet. slightly burnt in places. Arabic music, too loud. I do not advise.

An incredible hotel, they even gave us a complimentary room upgrade to a suite. The whisky lounge was fascinating, and the service was outstanding to match.

A delightful spot in Edinburgh offering carefully crafted artisan pasta. The dishes are fresh and full of flavour. Service is friendly and attentive, and the small, quiet setting gives the meal a relaxed, personal feel. A worthwhile visit for anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cooking.

We came for the first time today. for a long time We sat for the sura. We ate and drank. It was 10 o'clock at night, we didn't want to get up, everything was perfect.

Queríamos que nos gustara este lugar, hemos estado enviando huéspedes desde Airbnb basado en excelentes comentarios, pero nos decepcionaron. El lugar es precioso, el propietario muy agradable, sin embargo la comida era apenas promedio, ni siquiera puedo recordar nuestros entrantes, pero todas las pastas de mariscos estaban frías, w langosta demasiado cocida en la parte superior, mis chuletas de cordero tenía galore de grasa sin procesar y el vino es - como un ex sumiller - absolutamente estratosférico a £ 24 un vaso grande de Pinot Grigio (creo que la garrafa era £ 44 / 500 ml) , ditto para un Sangiovese o similar. Sé que es Stockbridge pero... ... Realmente destripado y decepcionado, ya que simplemente no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas.

Fuimos dos días al trote, la primera vez fue tan buena. Tuvimos un desayuno escocés increíble el primer día, y luego rollos de la mañana el segundo día. Los rollos son frescos y muy suaves. Si te gusta el café fuerte, hay una mezcla de café fuerte que es realmente bueno, o, optar por el tueste medio. Gran lugar, personal muy amable, lo recomendaría encarecidamente.

Brilliant coffee, delicious pastries, and great music. Will come back daily while I'm in town.

El mejor lugar en la milla para la comida! Casi buena comida en una pequeña tienda. Disfruté hablando con el personal y las grandes recomendaciones. Ni siquiera nos habríamos enterado si no hubiera sido recomendado por el personal del pub local.

Visitamos un sábado, pero tuvimos la suerte de llegar cuando no había cola. El personal era amable y servicial. Pedimos bastantes artículos, pero un poco más adelante nos dimos cuenta de que habían olvidado poner un artículo en la caja. Volvimos y fue rápidamente rectificado con una disculpa - el miembro del personal se había dado cuenta después de que nos habíamos ido, pero no había sido capaz de seguirnos fuera, ya que la panadería se había ocupado como nos habíamos ido. No hay problema. Solo una ligera decepción fue el pudín de toffee pegajoso “caliente” - la salsa estaba caliente pero el pudín estaba extremadamente frío, posiblemente recién salido de la nevera, por lo que era bastante duro y enfrió la salsa muy rápidamente. Todos los demás artículos eran increíbles - mención especial para los sándwiches de rosquillas y crema de natillas!

Very friendly. Food is great! Completely fresh. Highly recommend falafel and hummus.
