Esta es una pequeña joya hermosa de un restaurante en Stockbridge. Inmediatamente me sentí transportado de vuelta a Italia y disfruté mucho de cada momento allí. La comida es muy italiana, pero honra una gran cantidad de ingredientes escoceses frescos y de alta calidad en su menú. Su servicio de pan, con pecorino + pesto es increíble! Gran carta de vinos italiano auténtico! Mi tortino al funghi tenía deliciosas setas escocesas pero se depiló un poco denso. La fragola + amaro fue la perfección absoluta para el postre, con fresas de Perthshire. Honestamente el amaro fue el mejor que he bebido!! El servicio fue rápido y amable, con un ambiente muy relajado en el restaurante. ¡No te apresures, saborea cada bocado y disfruta de la comida!

Todo lo que se puede esperar de un buen restaurante italiano: cálida bienvenida, excelente e interesante menú, opciones innovadoras de vino. No podría fallar y sin duda volveremos.

Piccolo locale, intimo e accogliente, curato nei particolari,dai quadri,alla musica...un sottofondo di musica italiana anni 70/80, hanno accompagnato la nostra serata insieme a piatti strepitosi,ben serviti e dai sapori ottimi. Tutto ci è piaciuto,dalla focaccia con lievito madre alle linguine con gli scampi,e la carne di cervo. Giovanni in sala, è gentile e cordiale; Mara in cucina dà il meglio di sé...una coppia fantastica. Consigliamo vivamente questo ristorante!.

As Italians, we never look for Italian food when abroad. Sleeping in Stockbridge, our flight arrived in delay, the hour was late for dining for Scotland standards. We were about to surrender to a fish-and-chips to go when we decided to try harder and luckily we found this place. Few tables in a small and cozy ambient and then the welcoming cordiality of the landlord. We went for a bottle of Cafone to get along with three courses one more inspiring than the other. Everything far from being banal and a cuisine that would be highly challenging even within the Italian borders. People in Edinburgh, make yourself the gift of not missing this superb surprise.

First impressions not great. We were shown to our table and left to it. When the menu came we were disappointed to find only three main course choices. We had the cold meat platter to share and we liked the selection and quality. I had baccalà which I have enjoyed many times. It was incredibly salty however, the sauce that came with it was delicious. The tiramisu was unlike any other but tasty enough. The service could be improved. We had difficulty finding a server when we needed one.

This place happed to be close to our air bnb , so we tried it and WHOA. Stunning food. You can tell they take real pride in this place. Everything was beautiful and delicious. Please do go.

Notre meilleure expérience culinaire en Écosse .. un restaurant gastronomique de grande qualité, chaque met était un vrai délice pour nos papilles et les Explications détaillées du patron étaient très appréciables. Le service était vraiment au top avec en plus une serveuse qui parlaient très bien Français. Nous y avons passé notre dernière soirée pour un anniversaire, après une semaine dans ce beau pays.. et ce restaurant restera dans nos mémoires. Je recommande vivement !!!

A lovely little Italian restaurant with delicious food! After reading positive reviews on Tripadvisor, we chose to eat here on our first night in Edinburgh and we were not disappointed!! The focaccia is incredible. Great food in a lovely setting. We will definitely return on our next visit to Edinburgh!

What an incredible wee gem! We asked for a table very last minute on a Friday night and they were delighted to welcome us in. Such a beautiful venue! Run by husband and wife - it was fantastic to support an independent family restaurant. The wine list is class! They helped recommend a wine we have never had and wouldn’t have opted for - divine!! Let’s start with the homemade foccacia - so fresh, crusty, salty. This was served with a whipped pesto & almond butter. The best bread I’ve ever had. So good I asked to buy some to take home. They kindly gave us some complimentary. 💓 We shared starters - tuna tartare (so fresh) and beautifully presented. Veal meatballs - exploding with flavour and my favourite dish was the vegetarian ravioli with an incredible cheese foam sauce - WOW! Mains we had Scottish Wild Boar tagliatelle and Scottish seared grouse. The provenance around this menu should be celebrated - the best Italian dinner I’ve ever had using some of the best Scottish ingredients. Thank you for having us. I cannot wait to return!

Eccezionale è la definizione giusta per questo ristorante. Eccezionale la cortesia e disponibilità del gestore che gestisce anche da solo la sala. Ci ha accontentato con elasticità nella scelta dei menu e nelle variazioni sul tema per venire incontro ai difficili gusti di nostro figlio. Ha scherzato e dialogato con noi ed offerto una piccola degustazione di whisky. Eccezionale la qualità dei piatti con sapori ricercati ed originali dal primo all’ultimo. È un ristorante piccolo e raccolto fuori dalle rotte turistiche che ho scoperto per caso su TA. Gestito da una coppia di italiani e con gusto italiano nei menu e nella presentazione dei piatti Pochi tavoli, atmosfera rilassata, musica italiana anni 70/90 in sottofondo. Tutto ha contribuito a rendere godibile l’esperienza. Piatti come già detto molto ben cucinati e di grande qualità. Uno dei migliori ristoranti italiani da me trovati nei miei tanti giri per il mondo. Conto non economico ma assolutamente in linea con la qualità del cibo e del servizio e inferiore a quello di altri ristoranti di livello più basso ad Edimburgo

I so wanted to give this place 5 stars but we were a little disappointed with the food, especially having seen such great reviews. The place is delightful and the service totally charming. We were there on a Saturday night so it was very noisy, as so many places are, having no soft furnishings. My husband is a tad deaf so this can be a problem for us. We had the a la carte option and I chose the breaded mushroom for the main course, meant to taste like chicken which it really did! Rather bland, overcooked chicken really. But lots of lovely bits and as I said, great ambiance so we'll definitely give it another go.

Le restaurant est difficile à trouver, au sous-sol par rapport à la rue, mais cet effort est pleinement récompenser. Une fois accueilli avec convivialité et professionnalisme, la carte propose des plats italiens très bien cuisinés et présentés. En apéritif, le prosecco est parfait. Il vaut mieux réserver. Idéal pour un dîner en amoureux.

Abbiamo fatto solo 4 giorni ad Edimburgo e provato diverse cucine dal mondo visto la vasta offerta presente in città. Ma devo dire che questo piccolo ristorante italiano ha battuto tutti . Locale davvero accogliente con un servizio gentilissimo è una cucina di alta qualità e ricerca . Davvero consigliato.

Se avete voglia di sapori tipici italiani vi consiglio questo piccolo ristorante. Ambiente accogliente e il personale molto gentile. Ottimo la focaccia (servita tiepida) fatta in casa. Una bella coccola l’offerta di un entree come benvenuto. Come starter ho preso uovo d’anatra con porcini davvero buono.Da provare assolutamente le linguine al granchio dove il sapore del pesce e quello del pomodoro fresco si sposano a meraviglia. Per finire un bel tiramisù condiviso. Prezzo giusto. Ristoranti così sono l’orgoglio dell’Italia nel mondo.

Situato in una zona residenziale e tranquilla di Edimburgo, fa ritrovare la stessa tranquillità’ all’interno del locale,dove il proprietario ti fa sentire subito a casa. Bravissima anche la cuoca( la moglie) che sforna piatti preparati con maestria. Eccezionali le linguine con polpa di granchio, superbo il piccione, stratosferico il tiramisù’. Wir waren von dem Restaurant so begeistert, dass wir in unserer Woche in Edinburgh 2x dort waren! Es ist ein wirklich kleines Restaurant mit kreativen Interpretationen italienischer Speisen. Der Wein war hervorragend und der Service sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Trovato per caso, il ristorante è italiano doc! Materie prime di qualità, alcuni piatti un po’ rivisitati ma ben riusciti! Ambiente accogliente, pochi coperti, gestori italiani di origine marchigiana gentilì e attenti, passione nella cura dei piatti. Dopo quasi tre settimane in Scozia è stato un bel “ritorno a casa”. Davvero consigliato a chi ama la cucina genuina e un po’ gourmet!

Questo ristorante è quanto di meglio potessi chiedere dalla mia ultima cena ad Edinburgo. Location piccola e accogliente, con pochi coperti e arredamento semplice ma curato.La cucina è stata una sorpresa davvero inaspettata. Ho scelto di mangiare pesce e sono rimasto sbalordito. Ingredienti di prim'ordine, divinamente cucinati e presentati. Non mi sarei mai aspettato di scovare uno dei migliori ristoranti dove abbia mai mangiato proprio nella capitale scozzese.Un plauso infine anche al personale di sala, sempre disponibile, sorridente e preparato. Quella linguina al granchio me la sognerò a lungo credo...Chapeau!

Locale piccolo ma molto accogliente.Cameriere simpatico e molto disponibile alla spiegazione di ogni componente del piatto.Antipasti molto curati e con riformulazioni molto originali ma super gustosi.Pasta al granchio favolosa accompagnato da un vino super. Dolci super da ritornare se siete a Edimburgo.

Cuisine italienne préparée par de vrais Italiens ! Tout était vraiment excellent, beaucoup de saveurs, dans un petit restaurant avec une ambiance cosy, à 10/15 mn du centre d’Edimbourg, dans un quartier hupé. Et les propriétaires sont super sympa... À ne pas rater !
