Stopped after reading the menu posted in the window, many unique items which is what we prefer. Did not disappoint! I had the buttery eggs with lightly smoked salmon on sourdough served with a fresh salad. My husband chose the Turkish dish of long stewed tomatoes, peppers, and garlic finished with eggs, topped with melted cheese, accompanied with sourdough toast. Service professional and patient. Atmosphere agreeable- well sized and spaced tables, comfortable chairs, easy listening music. If we were staying longer in Leith, we’d return to sample lunch items.

Atmosphere was lovely and friendly staff. The hams and cheese breakfast toast was underwhelming for £10 but other dishes looked nice. Would try again for a dinner.

Looking for a place for breakfast on Leith Walk and found Nott. Very busy place when we arrived. Staff were busy but worked well. Order taken, coffees served and the excellent food followed on shortly afterwards..

During our walk, we stumbled upon this charming place. The tea was amazing, and the baklava was delicious. The staff’s kindness and friendliness made us feel immediately welcomed. We’ll definitely be returning! 😊

Great selection of tasty wines and friendly service! On top of wines, they also have a nice lager on tap and some bottled beers too. Cheese board was fantastic! Also a good place for brunch!

A group of us (13) came here for end of term food and drinks. We were lucky enough to be offered the beautiful space downstairs. Absolutely stunning, lovely candles, table dressed beautifully. Service was amazing. Food even better!! Would highly recommend. Great venue for small gatherings.

Came here for breakfast, the okace didn't disappoint. It's one of the tastiest, healthiest and nutritious breakfasts I've ever had. The sauge was just 🤌🏼 Very hospitable owners of the place. One can feel that the place is well taken care of. 10/10

Wir sind zufällig auf der Suche nach einem Frühstückslokal dort vorbeigekommen. Das Ambiente hat uns sofort gefallen und wir sind sehr nett begrüßt worden. Wir hatten ein vorzügliches üppiges Frühstück (Lachsbagel bzw. Brot mit Rührei und Lachs) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir an unserem Abreisetag nochmal dort gefrühstückt haben.

Update: My partner and I went for dinner for our 4 year anniversary, and ordered a veggie platter with a bottle of the house red. We had a great time, Nott has exceptional staff, insanely incredible food (highly recommend the hummus), and the wine blew my socks off. Thankyou to the waiter for facilitating such a good evening, he was so friendly and helpful! Excited to come back🤓! Only came in for a TA coffee but lovely decor, great selection of cakes/treats, and really really friendly staff! Will definitely be coming back🥰🥰

Very good service and atmosphere but very average food unfortunately. I won’t recommend ordering the sourdough toasts and the baba ghanoush. Both were quite tasteless in my opinion. However the Borek was good.

Love the warm hummus (and it’s accompanying bread) and Turkish garlic sausage. Great calm sim cozy ambiance, very clean space, great chill music that matches the vibe well, and extremely thoughtful, kind staff!

You must go there If you like wine cheese - cold meats variety . Nice and cozy place !!

Coming here for having a Mediterranean breakfast at 2PM. The place look very nice, the food is amazing. Is something you see often in U.K., with a selection of cheese, vegetables and bread. A classical traditional Mediterranean breakfast to have. The price is a little bit higher than expectation but I can justify that for the quality of the ingredients they have been used. Suggested to try

We were there on a Monday so it was quite quiet, We got the sharing platter and bottle of wine deal, which was good value. Staff were lovely and just the right level of attentive. Restaurant has a lovely feel.

Nott is an amazing find on leith walk. If you love cheese and wine this is a must try - they have their own twist on a sharing board. The board for two people is massive and you can graze on this for hours. Great selection of wines to pair with this. Staff are always super friendly and the vibe of the restaurant is great. Visited twice for the sharing boards and once for brunch, food and service is always amazing. Must try on leith walk!

The vegan sharing mezze is soooo good. We stumbled on this place by accident and so so glad we did! The amount of great vegan food and wine you get for the price is amazing! Dog friendly too and lovely staff!

Had a lovely family late breakfast for 5 of us. Three of us had the eggs Benedict which were very tasty. Perfect poached eggs! Would definitely go back and try the dinner options.

Very dark interior . Slow service . Most tables needed cleaned from previous clients . Coffee served and food came later . Small child allowed behind very narrow space behind counter where alcohol and hot food being prepared and served.

I would like to thank the Manager of Nott Miss Egyum and the whole team for great arrangement of a birthday surprise for my friend. I have ordered a desert cake with a candle and a sign on the plate in Italian language saying Happy Birthday. They have done all requested things with kindness and precisely on time. I can not thank enough for putting even the requested music - Gipsy Kings Volare. I highly recommend this bar restaurant for the good quality of food and beverages, for the HIGH QUALITY service and the dream team. I give 5 star to this bar! Ole oleeeee!!!!

Absolutely amazing place. We went there for brunch and had the salmon bagel which was lovely. Service was good and the place is well designed, it has some cute accent pieces. All in all great experience. They also serve Mediterranean cuisine which looks delicious.

The best hot chocolate in the whole Edinburgh! 🥇 The brunch plate I took (second one in the menu) could need some improvements but that is a matter of taste. Or it might have been not prepared correctly - Monday example? I am, however, definitely coming back and will try some other dishes.

Too expensive with average food

Lovely little place with amazing sharing boards and mezze dishes. We had the “sharer’s delight” between 3 which was really for 4, but we were hungry! Good wine and good atmosphere. Very chilled.

We just love this little friendly place. Fantastic breakfast, probably the best we know in Edinburgh if you are healthy eater and preffer more sufisticated test and serving. Great place to start your week end. Well behaved dogs are welcome and always greeted with a smile and a bowl of fresh water.

Veggie and vegan options. Lots of food on the platters and beautifully presented, we had a sharing platter for two and there was more than enough food. No wine available currently unfortunately. Staff were friendly. Decor and ambience was nice. In my opinion, it was let down by the basic plastic vegan cheese choices (violife cheddar and Greek style) which are fine at home on a sandwich but not nice 'fine' vegan cheese to enjoy in a meal out. There are companies in Edinburgh that make their own delicious vegan cheese and that would be a far better addition. I also feel that a lot of the accompaniments were not fresh and were just packets or jars.

Nott offers exceptional service that's friendly, welcoming and makes customers feel valued. In addition to this, they have a fantastic selection of wines and charcuteries that come with a Middle-Eastern twist. The cozy, unpretentious atmosphere creates a comfortable and relaxed setting where you can fully enjoy yourself without any distractions or fuss.

Hidden gem. Had Mother’s Day lunch here today and it was fabulous. Great food, wine and service. The best charcuterie board we’ve had in a while. Good quality and lots of it. There was a good choice of wine and dog friendly. Can’t recommend this enough for all occasions. Helen, Dan, Zara & Belle (the dog) 😊👍

Amazing place if you are looking for a big and tasty cheese board to share with friends. The boards include a variety of cheese, cooked meat, bread and other vegetarian options. The bottles of wine included with the price are nice too. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

First visit, after recommendation from a friend who was there with me today for a catch with a few others. Loved the decor of the place, the menu was varied and portion size huge with reasonable prices. Very friendly and attentive staff too, will revisit very soon

Visited Nott tonight. Great welcome, lovely food and pleasing wine selection. Good value for money. The whole experience was spoiled by the too loud conversation between the staff at the bar. Be careful, there is a lot of competition in that part of Leith Walk! Sorry, I’ll not be back to Nott.

“Scrambled eggs” were made in the microwave, and for whatever reason my salmon and scrambled eggs were drowned in a balsamic glaze. Not an enjoyable meal at all. The toastie and salads were both tasty, and very good value. But my meal was sadly not nice at all.

Place supposed to open at 10, but the waitress allowed us in at 9:20 anyway. She was super gentle and the coffe was super

I honestly think the rating should be attributed to the kindness of Leithers. The staff members are discourteous and unbothered. The young waitress taking our orders didn’t seem to know much about the cheese, had to check several times for shortages on drinks. They also stood in the doorway and smoked which allowed her cigarette smoke to float back into the bar. The sharing board looked fantastic and “instagrammable” yet was weak in terms of meat selection. Cheese and meat were served in tiny portions compared to chutneys. We weren’t informed that the bread that comes with is garlicky, neither were we offered to chose amongst bread options beforehand. The menus and tables need be cleaned after every customer. The venue however has lots of potential. They just need to try harder.

The food was delicious - the brunch menu outstanding for all tastes and requirements and the service was with a smile and efficiency. I altered the standard menu item and they accommodated the change happily. However, I tried to order sparking water - none available. My sister asked for Prosecco. None available. And a third item was not available either - a poor show that basic things like that could not be supplied. However, I shall go again as the food was excellent. And if I could drink alcohol any more, the wine list was well stocked and reasonably priced.

Went for brunch/breakfast. On first sight a stylish place. However, menu (paper) is greasy and wasted. Also tables are greasy and should be cleaned after every customer. Food as well greasy. Hard to understand the high rating..

It’s such a lovely place with exquisite, modern yet classic decoration. Continental breakfast is amazing and the price is reasonable. Try the special Turkish dessert and it won’t let you down. Friendly owner and staff, definitely worth visit!

Really enjoyed our time here, felt really cozy and relaxed. We shared a board for 2 between 3 people and was definitely enough! Board was about £32 for a veggie one so good prices. Service was also excellent. Would make an excellent date night venue that's a little different from a standard restaurant. We also asked for extra bread to finish off the dips and were not charged for it, which was nice.
