It’s a small chain, but it’s a good one! Very nice empire biscuits, and their rolls are delightful. Friendly staff too.

Exquisite food for the price must book cannot just walk in

If you want to try Spanish tapas, this is the place and for the Spanish bear as well, we were amazed how the dishes stayed warm through out the time we were eating, then the waiter told us that is because of the bowls made of mud in which they were serving, they were so good we ended up buying the bowls, you can cook, heat up and eat good in the bowls and they are dishwasher safe.

Pleasant time spent in this very charming restaurant, friendly atmosphere, excellent cuisine, I highly recommend and I will return there as soon as I have the opportunity; Moreover, the neighborhood is very pleasant.

Es con gran tristeza que escribo lo que probablemente será mi última crítica de este encantador, pequeño café en Portobello. Tengo entendido que a finales de marzo Butternut Squash cerrará sus puertas definitivamente. Sin embargo, nuestro último almuerzo allí fue tan bueno como todos los almuerzos anteriores; el servicio es igual de amable BB y eficiente. Y el café estaba lleno a su capacidad, con gente esperando para entrar. Lamentablemente, a veces los restaurantes cierran, pero en el caso de la calabaza Butternut, definitivamente no falló. Mis mejores deseos para los propietarios y el personal. Te echaremos de menos.

Superb cafe, food is always perfect. Not one complaint at all, lovely staff and very friendly. Won’t use another cafe in this area, definitely recommend. White House kitchen 10/10

Pedí café de aquí, que era mi favorito y difícil de encontrar grano de Burundi. En descafeinado también. El servicio de envío fue más allá de todo el camino a Europa. A pesar de que les fue devuelto dos veces, llamó, envió frijoles frescos y se aseguró de que los recibiera.

I was at the Golf Club with friends for a Christmas dinner. The food was excellent and the staff attentive but not overpoweringly so. It was very enjoyable and I do recommend it as a dining out experience. However, there was one thing missing. No disabled access. I realise that generally speaking, those who frequent a golf club will be fairly fit and mobile, but for the mobility challenged visitor, entry to the building is awkward to say the least. I am disappointed that I will be unlikely to visit again, solely for that reason.

Best food around. Always go here for our curries and things. Been over 10 year and won’t go anywhere else. Butter Chicken and North Indian Garlic curry so tasty. Chicken pakora is a must.

We went to Civerino's Portobello Beach location in mid-march after seeing posts on TikTok about how good the pizza there was. I got a margarita pizza, and my boyfriend got the Italian sausage. We were both really happy with the food; my only complaint would be it's not as 'saucy' as I would have hoped. We sat outside at the picnic tables which was okay until the winds picked up and I nearly lost my pizza to the sea. Would definitely recommend a visit. Next time, we will try the truffle fries.

Feeling cheated here and a bit hurt as a regular. Overdone dry and tasteless chicken katso burger with loaded fries with haggis and peppercorn sauce which were just mush! I have a feeling the chef was off that day? It is one thing getting a steak slightly fatty or slightly over/under, but the reason I feel cheated is that is was just SO poor and obviously wrong!

If I've asked once I've asked (politely) 100 times for extra chippy sauce on my food and EVERY fecking time I get a tiny amount of dried on sauce. Tonight was the last straw you incompetent idiots. Customer lost!!!!
