The best restaurants in Central Scotland

Bought a steak bake in the shop at Forfar Saturday past . Bought a steak bake and a sausage roll and a coffee. Sat down to eat and the steak bake was very poor quality meat ..chunks of gristle..disgusting . Told staff who were fairly useless two girls ..just more or less starred at me ..didn’t say anything..like sorry for that or anything else ..like they didn’t know how to handle a complaint! Maybe a bit of customer service training wouldn’t go a miss or even a refund for the product I purchased ! Will not be buying their steak bakes again..would recommend that anyone thinking of buying one might have second thoughts !

Asked for small chips and curry sauce. Was not asked if they were to be separated. Didn’t get asked if I wanted salt and vinegar. Or the sauce on the side . They did what they wanted and was disgusting. Have kept my order and will demand a refund. Do not go here . Uhhh

Had the full breakfast, all freshly cooked , the only thing missing was toast . Staff very friendly,

Waited over an hour for totally disgusting kebab, if that's what the cold mess was meant to be!! Straight in the bin it went. Complete waste of money

Ellie served us this evening and she was a true diamond. Went out her way to speak to my little girl, offering her alternative drinks and newbies! Asked if she would like her croissant heated, going the extra mile when she didn’t have to! Very good experience and will certainly pass by next time we’re on the road. Thank you so much for making my girl feel welcomed and important when she was feeling a little poorly :) you will go far Ellie

Slow service, cold burger, lattice fries soggy and luke warm, obviously not made to order as claimed. Expensive compared to peers with lower quality.

Pizza wasn't even cut. 20mins late.

If your trading hours are that you are open, please be open, on arrival I don’t expect you to advise me that we have decided to close early. Half an hour early especially when I have made the extra effort of walking to you. Disappointing but is this the norm?, please advise and maybe change your website open hours to reflect your actual opening hours to save anyone else a wasted journey

Absolute reeks of p1sh. Stopped in here on way home from Pitlochry and could smell the toilets from the Costa store at front of building. Horrible. Feel bad for those working there and anyone stopping for food/drink

We were recommended to try a Kebab from the Four in One derful and it actually was !. Under new ownership so any outdated negative reviews should be ignored. Phone order was taken efficiently, order delivery times flexible if not required straight away. Food well presented and nice and hot on arrival. We had a King size Special mixed Kebab, a King size Doner, Chips, and Cheesy Garlic Bread. Having been seriously disappointed with a similar order from another local takeaway we were blown away with the entire meal. Quality ingredients well prepared, cooked, seasoned properly to add flavour, and appetizingly presented. Meats very tender, Cheesy Garlic Bread well cooked not soggy, chips very tasty. We phoned to say how much we enjoyed it and are looking forward to trying other items from the menu.

They had bo latte said they had called me but I received no calls, when I called them they then delivered and gave me £2 to cover latte,food was then cold as they had prepared it at back of 5pm and was now 7pm. Called them again and another driver then came back to get food. Because I forgot £2 and told them I was angry and closed door the driver then proceeded to batter/ thump my Dads glass window on door almost breaking it,then told my Dad I was crazy mental and belonged in a hospital. Not acceptable. I did not swear threaten all I did was get loud and a bit angry at ruined dinner and I get abuse from them? Not good service.

Dios mío, 105 de 106 en Stirling. ¿Los gerentes leen estas críticas? Ojalá lo hubiera hecho antes que nada. Claramente falta de personal, aunque prácticamente vacío. Tuvimos un desayuno todo el día, que estaba bien. Esperé años a que aparecieran cuchillos, nadie en la caja. Mi comida apareció antes que los cuchillos. Las cosas no se sentían particularmente limpias - vajilla y cubiertos. No lo he sido por siglos - dejó de venir hace años cuando comenzó a bajar - y hoy fue un error.

Take away fast and food hot. Pizza was okay, fries had a strange chemical taste so couldn’t eat them. Garlic bread best bit. Expensive for what it is

went into starbucks to get a coffee to go,noticed the place was very untidy and quite dirty, the staff were talking instead of cleaning, took staff around 3 minutes to notice i was there and to take my order,a girl called niamh, who looked like she’d just rolled out of bed,took my order when i asked for an alternative milk as i’m lactose intolerant,she rolled her eyes and said what one do u want in a snappy tone, i replied with almond milk please, she rolled her eyes again and said my order will be ready shortly again in a snappy tone,felt like this whole experience was very poor and staff were rude

Most of the staff clearly do not know the difference between a flat white, a latte, and a cappuccino as they are all made with flat hot milk no matter what you ask for. No froth or foam or latte milk. The coffee is not cheap enough to be this bad.
