Asked for small chips and curry sauce. Was not asked if they were to be separated. Didn’t get asked if I wanted salt and vinegar. Or the sauce on the side . They did what they wanted and was disgusting. Have kept my order and will demand a refund. Do not go here . Uhhh

Their website states that they open at 2pm on Fridays so we arrived at 2.15pm only to be told it would be another 30 to 45 minutes before they would be open. No reason given. Wasted car journey. Won't be going back there again.

55mins late (2HRS TOTAL), missing burger, missing curry sauce, bottle of chip shop brown sauce switched to a tub, what am i supposed to do with that? Chips were a mixture of raw / hard and undercooked resembling a tattie slug. Called to ask for a refund on the missing items and could here the staff laughing about it then passed to i assume the manager who was a wideo and told me to claim the money back through some 3rd party online. I explained I ordered through their website and paid cash at the door. Asked for the delivery driver to come back with my refund for the missing items but still waiting... basically stolen money from me. There is no wonder you are 35th out of 35 and 105th out of 106. AVOID!!!

We keep going back to try this place with the hope it has improved but it just seems to get worse! The fish inside the batter is negligible - when will it improve if they don't want to end up having to shut down?

Ordered single fish from Marinis Dunfermline .There was more batter than fish! Awful.Wont be back here and would not recommend.Wish I'd checked other reviews before going here.

We tried fish and chips from here again the night before we went on holiday, hoping it to be a good start to the holiday! Ha! Ha! It was awful... very little fish inside a soggy batter, almost white,uncooked chips...just awful!

Have been waiting one and a half hours for our delivery. Truly awful time to wait. Phoned and they said it would be here in ten minutes still waiting. Do not use this premises.

Well after a lovely day in St. Andrews with family we decided to go to Marinis on aberdour rd dunfermline for a takeaway. As you can see from the picture my scampi was burnt beyond recognition. They must have know it was burnt when they were boxing it up. In future i will be going back to inverkeithing regardless of how hungry i am. Disgusting is the only word. What a shame.

Extremely rude man behind the counter making sly comments under his breath about not serving me ice cream while the other member of staff was happy to serve us.

Terrible, might as well of ordered it yesterday and left it on the door step till the day. When we phoned back to complain the response was insulting and got us no where.

This place can be very Jekyll & Hyde regarding the quality of the food you get! Sometimes I have had awful fish & chips but on Saturday night it was great, lovely fish and well cooked chips! So maybe pot luck if you try it but when it is good you will probably enjoy it.

Ordered a deliver which arrived an hour and a half later and was presented with this which was meant to be a chicken tikka calzone. Burnt in the top and bottom and had hardly any filling inside. Called to report this and was advised they would send another but wouldn’t take a further 40 minutes - requested a refund instead. Was advised they were very busy - customers should not be presented with this poor quality over cooked food.

Not been here for a while. Chips were delish and pizza wa a top notch. Defo missed the place and quality. Always a banter from staff which makes the experience more enjoyable when waiting of fresh food being made.

We hadn't had fish and chips from here for quite some time because of the poor quality but my husband decided to give it a try again when I was out for a meal with friends! There was hardly any fish under the batter, which in itself was under-cooked and soggy! The chips weren't very good either! Won't be returning till at least another change of ownership!

9.30pm we went into shop and ordered fish and chips. The shop has an empty look to it. The fish batter was uncooked. Horrible. Won't be back

Lovely soft chippy chips, smoked sausage was crispy and hot, huge portion and ice cream too. Speedy service, Handy location, parking, next to a Tesco and plenty of seating while you wait

This is the nearest fish and chip shop to us and we use it 4 or 5 times a year. If we time it right there is a wait but the fish is freshly cooked and very nice!
