Chanda Cottage in Fife

Very hit or miss, one day it will be a brilliant meal and very fast delivery and the next I have to wait 2 hours for sub par pizza.

Really nice pizza! The spicy chicken is actually well spiced unlike some places, will order again tastes great :)

Sent out wrong order, tried to correct with a phone call, for them to argue over phone and reluctantly send out the correct order for this to also be missing part of order still. Phoned up again to be hung up on several times and then ignored. Had to actually go to shop for them to still argue and eventually given the remaining of the order. Will avoid in future.

Everytime you go the order is wrong ordered 2 things tonight half pound cheese burger and doner meat and the only thing that was right was the doner meat

Ordered a Donner meat calzone it was thick with grease inside calzone also the Dow wasn’t cooked right Also cheese wasn’t melted right

That’s a fantastic cheese burger, reported to trading standards and the banks recalling the money I spent £15 on food all of it was wrong I don’t know how this place is still open

A kebab shop with no doner meat shocking

Food was disgusting, won't be ordering from here again , shop is not clean

Currently waiting on a pizza and chips ...2 hours no sign told short of drivers and busy haha ..should not open if it takes 2 hours for something this basic ..worst service ever

Never received cheese on chips that was paid extra for which seems to be becoming a habit as happened last time too, showed as delivered 30 minutes before it actually turned up.

Item missing from order to go with the rest of the food. Phoned and they said they would send it out. Still not received almost two hours later.

ordered tonight got sent the wrong order then says i would get a new one sent to me but would be half an hour which is understandable considering it’s Christmas eve however waited over an hour for it and when i called back the pretty much forgot my order says they would get a new one to me however i declined as it was so late and all i got was ok thanks bye very disappointed as i love this takeaway and was looking forward to my meal

Tikka Masala pizza was so-so. Won't buy again. Preferred the much tastier Tikka Balti pizza which I had to order by fone as not available online. Wish they would do 'Any Curry' pizzas...

Delivery time terrible, if you don't have delivery drivers don't take delivery orders , bad service

Food fine as usual, but 2hrs for 2 portions of chips and some pakora, no contact from restaurant. And on a Monday night... not impressed!!

Spicy chicken was great a usual. I tried the punjabi pizza what wasn’t good but that’s my fault for trying something new just wasn’t for my taste buds

Phoned a delivery at 5.50pm received at 8.05pm

If I could give 0 stars I would !! Placed Order curry came all leaked out so phoned them up and they said a replacement would be coming looked out the window when I heard a car and seen the delivery guy opening up the curry tub pouring it out all over his fingers wiping it all over the bag and comes too the door trying too deliver it !! Will never order again Disgusting

Food was delish and HOT this time coz it didn't take ages to arrive (like it did last time we ordered). Maybe CC read my previous comment?! Hope so. (note: not sure how to rate 'Restaurant Service' coz I didn't actually deal with restaurant directly but had to give it some stars to enable 'submit' button!)

Asked for the tea for 1 and asked if they could swap the rice for a Nan bread they did that but gave me no rice and charged full price for a Nan bread we use this takeaway regularly and are not happy and think the personal touch has been lost with their regular costumers

Ordered for the first time, and won't be back. Got a baked potato and cheese instead of prawn cocktail. And the base of the pizza was burnt black. Customer service on the phone was shocking and got hung up on. The service at the door when I complained was even worse and no apology.

Preordered, 15 minutes after scheduled time I called the shop as hadn't arrived, customer service was as atrocious, said it would be a further 15 minutes, that changed to 10 minutes when I complained then to 5 minutes. Food arrived after the 5 minutes but items were missing, called the shop back, again customer service was atrocious. When they delivered the missing items it was given with no communication at all. Such a pity as the food was good!!!

Food is always tasty from Chanda and delivery usually 45 - 50mins. Tonight (a Wednesday at that) it took 1hr15mins - far too long for a trip from Methil to Leven. And our food was luke warm. A bit unfair coz we pay the same fee as those who get their food delivered hot. So, a bit of a let down this time.

Asked for no salad, came covered in salad and couldn’t entirely separate it.

Call handler extremely rude. He said it was very busy and there wasn’t as many delivery drivers, which is fair enough. I’d understand better if he hadn’t barked down the phone then hung up on me.

Have been getting deliveries from Chanda Cottage for about 5 months for our weekly curry night! Delivery time is usually 45 - 60 mins but when occasionally late, which takes it well over the hour. That can be frustrating after a long working day and you're so hungry and waiting (im)patiently for the meal! But their dishes are excellent, very tasty, always hot and arrive intact. Long may it last! Nice one Chanda! Can't wait til Friday...

absolutely shocking ordered my food waited for ages and came with the wrong thing now my foods cold and am sitting with the wrong thing they do it every time!!!

Missing items, waiting another 30 mins and was told they are busy but driver has left. Another 15 mins left, so no delivery and refund request. Usually good but very poor service overall.

Usually spot on. Wrong order and missing items. Waited another 30 mins and still nothing. Tried to cancel it but driver had left. Perhaps listen to customers will help but I won't use them again now.

Best tikka masala I have tasted. In fact ALL the curries we have tried since discovering you a few months ago have been excellent, very tasty. (Apart from madras which we found way too hot and had to abandon!) Portions and prices are also very good. In all we think Chanda Cottage is a great discovery! Please keep up the good work.

Scampi and pizza overcooked so dark tonight my scampi just tasted burned.. This used to be a fantastic takeaway what's happened...

Love the food and fast delivery but this is third time not receiving my extra chilli sauce considering they are 70p for a tablespoon of sauce it's fast adding up can't be that difficult to check orders before leaving shop.

Had requested for it to being delivered at 6;30 and delivery driver phoned saying he was outside my house at 5:45, when I was still on my way home from work

This has been our go to take away since moving to Kennoway after trying a few in the area, as the quality has always been consistent but the last couple of orders seemed like it had changed hands, but tonight they knocked it out the park, restaurant quality hot food and delivered early 5 stars.

ordered food online and options not delivered. Was advised could get outstanding options delivered within 15 minutes. food would have been cold when this arrived. no refund offered for outstanding items

Well , what can I say , food that piping hot tonight Im leaving it to cool and it tastes delicious ! I've never any issues here and ordered on / off for a number of years plus seen poor reviews in the past ..I think it's the best Indian in town.

Was quality as per but my pregnant bird was craving spiced onions aw day so she ordered a donner calzone and it never came with spiced onions she was raging 🤣 other than that was quality

Myself and partner had a mixed hoggi wrap and it was absolutely amazing will defo be ordering again also there Indian meals are to die for my hubby loves the chana rice me am not a rice person also there vegetable pizza with chicken tikka on top is the dugs nuts yummmmmy

Food was good but it took 2 hours 10 minutes to arrive after giving a 50 minute estimate. Just eat text after I highlighted it had been 40 minutes more than the estimate and it said I would get £3 back so hopefully that will credit and means we haven’t paid delivery. Have ordered once before abs time was spot on so may be a fluke but puts me off ordering again.

BEST pizza in Fife!!! I would say best in Scotland!!! I travel from far to get this delicious pizza!!! Great taste!!! Highly recommended!!! Nice people!!!
