This needs a safety check I found mold in my cheese its put me of of going there now but staff are very funny and friendly

Danny’s Takeaway, Glenrothes I visited Danny’s Takeaway in Glenrothes yesterday and ordered four 16-inch pizzas: 2 Chicken Doner and 2 Chicken Tikka. Unfortunately, the experience was highly disappointing. The toppings on the pizzas were terrible—absolutely disgusting. The chicken seemed old, as if it had been prepared last week. It was tough and unpleasant to chew. We were a group of 10 visiting from London to see family, and we chose this takeaway because it was the nearest option. However, it turned out to be a mistake. The hygiene standards were appalling. The person at the front counter, who took our order, was also packing other customers’ food without wearing gloves. He was handling food with bare hands, cleaning his hands on the shirt he was wearing while packing, which is unacceptable for any food establishment. When we took the pizzas home, the smell was so bad we couldn’t even take more than one bite. The quality was beyond disappointing, and we ended up wasting the entire order, which cost us £70. Overall, this was a terrible experience. Poor hygiene, bad food quality, and an operation that seems far from meeting basic standards. I wouldn’t recommend Danny’s Takeaway to anyone.

Never had a bad experience from this place. Food is always popping hot and fresh. The fries aren’t soggy. Clearly been in fresh oil. Good size of chick strips for the boneless stuff. Keep up the good work.

Never received my can of juice again, happened a few times now, used to like the food, couldn’t believe how small the portion was, just not what it was, won’t be getting again

Changed hands. Seems like they are starting from the bottom and working their way up. Need health and hygiene upgrade rapidly.

Food was delish. Had both types of chicken and a donner munchy box. Everything was fresh and very tasty.

This is the best chicken... I've ever had. No really I'm serious, I mean, it's crispy, but it's not dried out and... the seasoning its so... flavourful

Normally love this place. Got a pizza and pakora tonight. Pakora batter was so soft and I said to my partner I didn't think it was cooked but he ate 1 bit anyway then agreed, half an hour later he's got horrific sickness and diareha. I know people who have had food poisoning from there chicken too

Food was set delivered 30+ minutes before it arrived making us think it was delivered to wrong address. Restaurant did not have there phone online as no calls were able to get through. Food arrived cold soggy and overall not overly nice tasting. None of the food was finished although us all being quite hungry

Pizza was burnt was unedible, this was once my favourite takeaway but this is not the first order i have had recently that has been unedible will definitely be stopping ordering from here

Food arrived on time but it was a little cold, the chips were not very nice but the chicken was delicious.

customer service was amazing. food let it down. 1 meal had chicken strips with no coating and looked like 1 and 1/2 chicken steaks cut up. the other had 2 chicken steaks instead of 2 pcs of normal fried chicken. flakey wings were soggy battered dry chicken. chips were less than half cooked. could have done better at home to be honest. wouldn't recommend.

The food was delivered within the time stated, but considering that I only ordered one pizza, I don't believe it should've taken almost an hour to be delivered. The pizza also had mushrooms on it, even though I have not asked for any. I had to pick the mushrooms off the pizza, which is fine, but not ideal. This was a disappointing order.

Ordered 4 pieces of chicken with chips and 3 corn on cob..only got 3 pieces of chicken and corn was cold

Delicious no bird flu about it chicken was clicking away nice and the chips went down a treat with the excellent garlic dip.topped off brilliant service with a 😊

I ordered 1 pepperoni pizza, thought surely that cant take too long as i was quite hungry. No. Arrived 40 minutes late and when i got it, it was cold and stale. Will never order from here again

Not sure how early but I’m sure they was early like they normally are, love all there food, pizza.. the chicken, the chips the coleslaw , also many different stuff and really lovely 🖤 recommend this place ❣️

I ordered a meat feast pizza 16 inches, but struggled to find any trace of the meat in it. So it was a disappointment for me, but lesson learned. Next time I want a pizza I will choose another source.

Our mixed calzone was fabulous totally recommend.

Awful service, food arrived cold

The food was lovely, however we waited 1hour for our order and didn't receive our beans, we are now hungry and have nothing to eat, we were also one nugget short we will have two think twice about ordering again! The delivery driver was nice but didn't know about my missing beans🫘 I need a refund for my beans and nugget as my children are now sobbing as we had promised a delightful meal!!!

ordered a bunch of fried chicken/wings for 3 people, food arrived within 20 minutes of ordering. hot, fresh, incredibly tasty and mega fast delivery. 10/10. only place in Glenrothes that doesn't take 2 hours to deliver food.

Unfortunately I never got my beans, my chili sauce, my bbq sauce and I asked for Diet Pepsi and got full sugar

Ordered meal deal 9 and chicken never came.

Also missing 1 juice driver handed back 1.50 not much use one juice for 2 adults eating . Also missing the small fries to go with the kids popcorn chicken .

The food is good there but the service of the woman is very rude I don’t know if it’s just to me or something but I am polite when I order my food so I don’t know why she’s very rude Turkish woman

Fried chicken are sitting in hot cabin for hours and chicken so dry and chewy. Atmosphere is smoke and smell of foods everywhere.they need to open front and back door many times every day or fix fan extractor in the kitchen. Also lady served me overcharged me. She said price of meal £6 and I paid but when I asked for drink she said chicken burger and chips £6 .I can't have can of drink

I’m sorry but the kebabs were so greasy I mean soaking through packaging on to the floor!. Burgers were ok but the chips were so dry.

Food was barely warm when it arrived - turned up 35 mins after I got the notification saying it was out for delivery. Chicken was dry, not crispy and bland tasting.

Chicken was amazing!!! The only thing i could say was that the chips were very soggy and the gravy could of been thicker but well worth the money and the southern fried chicken was better than kfc!

ordered chicken gravy sauce but did not get it and brown sauce was missing as well, ordered boneless chick and got regular on-the-bone

I ordered a donner Calzone and they were skimping with the meat. There was nothing but Donner in the Calzone, no onions, cheese or sauce. Was like eating sandpaper. disappointed with the quality or lack of quality of the food.

I stopped ordering from here for a little while, I thought I’d go back but the food is not as good as I remember the boneless chicken was inedible because Of how dry it was and the chips were very bland and also quite dry. I think I’ll stick to the other takeaways I’ve been going to recently!

Arrived early but burgers where missing toppings

I ordered a pepperoni lovers pizza which was supposed to be deep dish. It wasn't. It was suppose to have extra cheese, and I couldn't see any difference from past pizzas from Danny's that had the regular amount. The pepperoni had an odd flavour to it. The mozzerella sticks were OK. A bit of a let down overall.

Foods always great, and it's good value for money.

Ordered chicken box and spicy wings with juice 25 quid. Small pizza and disgusting chicken sandwich arrived with no juice. Not happy at all lucky if order is fraction of what i paid. No resolution been made. Pretty angry actually

I ordered a kebab, expecting the doner meat to he inside a pita bread, instead the bread was just laid on top of the meat, for the meal to be early it wasn't all that hot but a 30 second blast in the microwave did the trick. The delivery guy was pleasant and polite so no faults on that side.

Normally the food is everything is spot on but today the delivery was out for delivery for 1 hour and was warm at best. Had to put it in the microwave unfortunately

Hot and flakey wings lacked heat and crisp. Chicken batter felt soft and had zero crunch. Chips undercooked pale-yellow and mushy not golden and crisp like you'd expect. Garlic mayo tasted exactly like Tzatziki not a garlic mayo. Delivery was good, pleasant guy who dropped it off even came earlier than what was said. Would however preferred to have waited longer for properly cooked chips or crispy chicken.

4 stars as this is my first time ordering it. I set the food for 6:25 and it came at 6:24 so pretty much on time. Food tastes great,, chocolate cake tastes amazing, kebab tastes great. But overall good experience for first time ordering
