Starbucks Falkirk Drive Too in Falkirk

went into starbucks to get a coffee to go,noticed the place was very untidy and quite dirty, the staff were talking instead of cleaning, took staff around 3 minutes to notice i was there and to take my order,a girl called niamh, who looked like she’d just rolled out of bed,took my order when i asked for an alternative milk as i’m lactose intolerant,she rolled her eyes and said what one do u want in a snappy tone, i replied with almond milk please, she rolled her eyes again and said my order will be ready shortly again in a snappy tone,felt like this whole experience was very poor and staff were rude

I do not normally leave reviews unless they are positive, but unfortunately my first visit to this location will be my last. My husband and I popped in for a coffee and bite to eat prior to doing some shopping. Where to begin? The selection of food available was reasonable, but it would have been nice if some kind of butter or spread was offered at the till for my bone-dry bacon (sparse by the way.) roll. The two cakes (cinnamon roll and lemon loaf) were dry and definitely not fresh. It was obvious by the condiment/bin area, it had not been wiped down in some time, and the tables appeared much the same. In our perhaps 40 minute visit, not once did we see a member of staff wash any tables or chairs down. Several members of staff looked as though they just rolled out of their bed with untidy hair. Furthermore, only their aprons indicated they were members of staff and it would have looked much more professional if they had tops/t-shirts of a similar colour. I did not visit the loos, but my husband said they were quite dirty; which really is unacceptable. On a positive note, the coffee was very good, but it definitely does not make up for what we found to be a very disappointing visit and I do hope whomever manages/owns this franchise will get their act together because it really does have the potential (layout and location) to be great.

Had trouble finding a clean table and seat, ended up cleaning the table and seat myself, pile of hair in the corner hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
