We ordered our food and then waited, and waited and waited. There were already a few tables in when we arrived but nothing that would account for the long wait that we encountered. 50 minutes from ordering to food arriving is excessive. At last the starter arrived, bowls of steaming mussels with garlic bread. The mussels were plump and juicy but the broth was thin and tasteless. Very disappointing. We then waited for our main course, no one was getting any food and no explanations were being given. The people at the tables that were in before us hadn’t received any food at all. When our food arrived I did a double take, my partner’s burger looked like an overdone meatball on a bun with a slice of iceberg lettuce, the chips were just thrown on the plate there was no salad garnish or coleslaw. If it had been mine I would have sent it back, but he is more tolerant. My lamb koftas were odd, the texture was mushy rather than the texture of meat that had been grilled. My thoughts afterwards was that they had been previously frozen. The flatbread was awful, dense, hard and obviously out of the freezer. one of the waitresses were wondering round with a plate of falafel which didn’t seem to belong to any of the diners. Meanwhile, the food at the other tables were just starting to arrive. A table of four near us were complaining about the wait, problems with the food being cold. Our bill of £65 did not reflect the standards we were expecting. We’re sad to say we won’t be back which is a shame as it’s within walking distance of home.

A very friendly establishment selling food and drinks at competitive prices. Chef and manager will often go out of their way to ensure your complete enjoyment. Cannot fault the place.

Will not be using this Chinese again the food ( Chinese chilly beef ) was over cooked and the meat was like string…not hot enough when we got home 10 mins away ..couldn’t warm it as it was tough enough already ..shame as staff friendly enough, but at the end of the day it’s the quality of the food and the correct cooking of it that matters😢😬sorry !

Wonderful lunch today in the cafe with our two dogs. We were all made to feel very welcome, plenty of lunch options and we even bought a cake to take away to eat later.

Excellent place for lunch. Basic menu, but well prepared and presented. Nice coffee and selection of home baking. Would recommend it for a snack or coffee stop.

Lovely pit stop on a circular forest walk from Scone. Extensive menu & good service. Seating inside or outside. Dog friendly.

Didn’t expect much when we walked into the restaurant, only people to sit and eat in. Did have lots of delivery orders though so suppose that a good thing. Rate the food 8/10 Chicken madras was flavourful Lamb Balti was also very tasty Bring your own alcoholic drinks, no licence which is fine I do prefer it that way🙂 Price is about right, same as back home for myself. Overly great experience, front house staff member was good, polite and friendly. Wouldn’t expect much from a small business, but food always speaks first🥘 worth a try if your in the area ✔️

We love ordering from Khan Takeaway. My partner has a dairy allergy and they are always helpfully accommodating this and recommending great curries. It’s reasonably priced and speedily made. 5/5!

We had a wonderful stay at the Murrayshall. From the moment we arrived, service was exceptionally attentive and helpful. The rooms & entire estate are beautiful and in excellent condition. We can thoroughly recommend the place.

Best fish supper i have had in ages . Loads, great big portion of chips and fish cooked to perfection. My partner had the homemade macaroni 😋 delicious. The staff were so friendly and very helpful . Highly recommend

Stopped for a cup,of tea and a cake. Quickly told to sit anywhere as the cafe was not busy. A bubbly waitress took our order of a pot of tea and a Mango Tango flavoured tea, a cake and a scone. Drinks arrived but the milk for the tea had turned. It was quickly replaced along with a second pot of tea free of charge. (Never going to be able to drink all that tea) The Mango Tango tea was fabulous. We had to go and ask if we could have our cakes as they had forgotten. The cakes were very very nice. So apart from the dodgy milk and memory, it was very nice.

Went for a light lunch when visiting Alyth recently. Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. The staff were taking all relevant measures in light of Covid-19 and I felt really safe. Would receommend to others.

Das Hotel ist spitze, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kein Wunsch bleibt offen. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen. Wir sind zum 4 mal hier und kommen gerne wieder.
