Great friendly local. Nice food, good prices, what's not to like!

We have been here on numerious occasions great service and food. This time was a total dissapointment. We booked a table for 6.30 pm. On being seated we were given the festive menu. Two adults and 3 juniors.The festive menu was not suitable for the juniors so we were reluctantly given the childrens menu. We always go here Xmas eve and the normal menu has been availableWe chose off the festive menue but would have liked more choice. We were not given the drinks menu when we asked for two glasses of wine. We had to ask for water as well. The service was very slow It was nearly 8.30 when we got coffee when we were told they were closing at 8.30. Strange when bar food was being served. Finally the menu said festive treats when we didnt get then we were tol they had RUN OUT. So although we have be fairly regular customers out of principle we wont be back in a hurry.

Having just visited the Christmas market in the village, we thought we would have some lunch in the Burrelton pub and also to get warmed up. First of all the restaurant was chilly but we thought we would stay and try the food. What a disappointment. There was 5 of us and while I can only review for myself it was terrible.we waited approximately 45 mins in total. First of all the tea arrived which was stewed and not hot.then my toasty arrived which was tepid at best. All in all really disappointed. The waitress did say she would discount the teas and coffees but as I had sent back my toasty I didn't expect to have to argue why I shouldn't have to pay for it. I definitely won't be back which is a shame as it could be a really great place.

This Inn was unbelievable we received a call the day before our arrival to say the hot water was off in rooms but showers working as it was too late to find anywhere else we stayed. Rooms were very clean single glazing windows were drafty. Dinner was really good we had read previous reviews. Breakfast the two couples already in the dining room had waited over an hour for their cooked breakfast. When it arrived at their tables we decided we would leave and get something to eat in Perth it turned out it was the manageress who was cooking.

Grand! Staff were brilliant....helped to celebrate a lady's 92nd birthday...... thank-you, she went home very happy.

My fiance and I stayed overnight on a Saturday in November because we couldn't get a room at the Red House in Coupar Angus. We had a lovely big room with a double and a single bed, lovely toiletries and a great bathroom. Our breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the only reason I have given a four is because the porridge came with sugar in it and I prefer mine with salt. Otherwise the whole experience was lovely and we are planning a return visit for lunch at the end of the year

Stop in after a cycle ride in Cupar Angus. Food and service were really good. I had the steak pie and it was really well presented piping hot and the steak was really tender. Service was good and would definitely go back next time in the area

Nice meal and service. Steak a little tough but it's always hit or miss with that. Generally I would recommend this place.

I haven't been here in so many years that I'd forgotten all about it. We dropped in last night with a table of 4. The menu is very nice, the decor is very cozy and country. The garlic mushroom starter was absolutely delicious. The garlic sauce was so good that if I'd been at home, I swear I would have licked the plate clean! The prawn cocktail starter was also excellent, fresh prawns and fresh salad, can't beat it. The haggis scotch egg looked and tasted amazing. Quite a unique dish and it was great. The mixed grill was clean and not in the slightest bit greasy or heavy. The sirloin steak was cooked exactly how I asked, and was a quality piece of beef. The rib eye was also cooked to perfection, pepper sauce was steaming hot and delicious and fresh. Steak and ale pie was also fantastic. The waiter was spot on, polite and efficient. This was a fantastic meal with 4 clean plates for both courses. Unfortunately I can't comment on the desert because we were stuffed full and couldn't eat anymore. Highly recommended to anyone. If they keep up the cooking and service to last night's standards then you better start booking a table well in advance. I look forward to returning in the very near future.

We were on our way back from pitlochry and saw this place at the side of the road. We thought it was dog friendly and in checking they were in the lounge. We had soup and sandwiches and the staff were very friendly will go again if we're passing that way. The restaurant looked very nice and the toilets were very clean. Car parking around the back.

Went for a family lunch, the restaurant was empty apart from us. The service was great and the food was nice.

Had another great meal tonight was the Christmas menu . Just great lovely tasty well cooked turkey and all the trimmings. Followed by Boozy trifle .....excellent. The staff so friendly helpful and efficient as always.

On the main drag to Perth so easy to find. Big carpark area out back. Food superb. Very friendly staff and all round good place with really nice locals.

Ok food, nice atmosphere. Wait was a little long even though we had booked well in advance for a large party.

We stayed here one night as part of a weekend golf trip. The ceiling was very low in room 3 probably only about 6ft high. It was also adjacent to the main road which meant there was a lot of road noise, making it difficult to sleep from about 5am. The breakfast we had was plentiful and really good. We found the hosts welcoming and efficient too.

This place never lets you down, you're always guaranteed to get a lovely plate of freshly made food, at a reasonable price. Take a trip, beautiful scenery to boot!!

Awesome food, really tidy on the plate and very tidy restaurant

First, the Hotel isn't in Coupar Angus - it's well and truly in Burrelton, as its name suggests. We were the only customers this lunchtime, 12-2. We relaxed and chatted and appreciated the steak and ale pie, the fish and the scampi, all with the tastiest chips I've had for a long time. Then their bread and butter pudding with Porrelli's ice cream - none better.

Another lovely meal at this smart restaurant. Traditional Scottish fayre at good prices. We had starters and main course, which unfortunately left no space for the lovely dessert menu. Friendly but discreet service, as ever. Easy to find and plenty of parking out the back. See you again soon!

This has to be my favourite hotel in Scotland the staff are so loverly they make.you feel so welcome. Rooms are 100% clean and very nice the food is absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced if your looking for a warm welcome and the scotish experince then this is the place for you. The local people who vist make you feel.so welcome.i would highly recommended this place Wendy the manager go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Look forward to my next visit to Burrelton park inn. The chicken in whisky sauce is a must it is absolutely beautiful

My Mum and Son were on one if our "Village Walks" and popped in to have Lunch.Mum and I had the lentil soup and a sandwich-very tasty.My Son had Balmoral Chicken.Good price and good service.

We have had two lovely meals and one not so good over the past few weeks. The chicken goujons were delicious well cooked and moist, fries tasty and crispy. Fish and chips well cooked firm crispy batter and not too much of it. Burgers are wholesome and very beefy no gristle. We will definitely be calling again, average price for decent food.

Three ladies out for dinner and where better than the Burrelton Park? The restaurant is clean and fresh and we were offered a choice as to where to sit. The menu is easy to read and specials are clearly displayed and pointed out by the charming waiter. The choice is great and I chose the Balmoral chicken with haggis. My friends had vegetarian fajitas, and roast chicken with all the trimmings. All delicious!

There was a lively buzz in the lounge when we arrived, coupled with the sound of activity from the busy public bar. Our friends and I had just popped in for tea. Two of us had the fajitas which were delicious, my husband had the salmon which he thoroughly enjoyed and my friend's partner tried that night's special, duck, which he said was cooked to perfection. As always, staff were friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to a repeat visit very soon.

Warm atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The food was of a fairly high quality, although the underside of my burger was burnt. Overall a good experience.
