Stopped for a cup,of tea and a cake. Quickly told to sit anywhere as the cafe was not busy. A bubbly waitress took our order of a pot of tea and a Mango Tango flavoured tea, a cake and a scone. Drinks arrived but the milk for the tea had turned. It was quickly replaced along with a second pot of tea free of charge. (Never going to be able to drink all that tea) The Mango Tango tea was fabulous. We had to go and ask if we could have our cakes as they had forgotten. The cakes were very very nice. So apart from the dodgy milk and memory, it was very nice.

Normally have a great experience here and will go back but was NOT impressed today. Was advised by there would be a 15 minute delay for food which we said was fine and ordered coffee. My wife was explaining how she wanted her coffee but our blonde waitress wasn't listening and spoke over her to ask what I wanted. Throughout our time there she was rushing about and creating a most unrelaxed atmosphere. When it arrived about 10 minutes later we attempted to order food but were advised they already had orders in and she couldn't take another order until a few more were sent out. The cafe is normally full but no one was outside and there were about 4 tables occupied. I waited a while longer when I asked another waitress for a fruit scone. I was advised there weren't any. I went up to the counter to see what was available and asked what scone they had. I could see what looked to be around half a dozen fruit scones. I opted for one of these and the waitress apologised. She was extremely pleasant and attentive and her apology came across as sincere. Our original waitress took a moment to go through the motions of asking if everything was ok but rushed off as we were about to reply. Had this been my first visit I would not be returning however today's experience was unusual and the regular staff are more relaxed and focused on customer experience rather than making us feel as though we were in the way and being an inconvenience. I dread to think of the chaos had they been as busy as usual.

Really lovely little cafe and deli, we stopped in for some lunch and coffee and were surprised to see vegan lunch options and cakes. One comment I have to make though is the odd decision to not serve soya milk for ‘ethical reasons’, but they’ll happily serve dairy products and meat? I understand that it’s probably from a ‘locally sourced’ stance as it’s hard to grow soya beans in the UK, but you can hardly call the meat and dairy industry ethical so it’s a really odd choice of words.

Lovely cafe, with very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food and delicious range of cakes and scones. Only problem was making a choice!

Just moved to the area and this was my first visit. Had a bacon roll, a late and an orange juice. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food, coffee and orange juice were all fantastic. I also visited their deli and purchased some goods, including a fresh homemade loaf of bread which is really nice. They also do pizza nights for which i have pre-ordered a pizza for tomorrow night. So happy to have this coffee shop near me.

Location is great Environment is great Food is good Overall would come again! I got the BBQ panini. It’s a sweet sauce on pulled pork, with crisps and a side salad. I also got the apple toffee muffin and OH MY GOODNESS. It was so good! Must have molasses or treacle in it but was yummy

Just opened last Thursday so small teething problems but I'm sure it will be a great little bar as the staff were very attentive. The upstairs lounge looks great btw. Will visit again when back down.

Fantastic place with wonderful service. I went there on a cold November day and ordered the most delicious caramel apple crumble to take away and they threw in some custard in a separate container. Lovely staff and a lovely shop.

Two waitresses, one young and cheerful one not so. Similarly my wife's Apple Pie light, moist and tasty, my Almond slice not so. Tea served in coffee cups, toilet facilities a bit primitive, and not cheap.
