Just back from the cafe and had to write how wonderful it was. Highly recommended. Coffee and cake was delicious and my dog enjoyed a small treat too. ! Excellent and friendly staff, spotlessly clean and plenty of super tasty cakes and snacks Can't wait to return and get spoiled !

Drove out today soup now costs £4.20 on par with other local cafes however that's just for soup if you want bread advertised with butter it's an extra £1.55 . Soup arrived fine tasted good but bread came ore slathered in cheap margarine and as I'd ordered brown and received white it was returned and money refunded.whatever happened to the little portions of butter you used to get with your soup . A small thing and I'm sure the lose if my business will be of no real interest .not exactly haute cuisine or salubrious surroundings to charge do much it's a workers cafe .....

Without it being recommended I probably wouldn’t know it was there but glad I was told and gave it a try. Very nice atmosphere, great service (with a smile) and the breakfast I had was amazing. Probably tasted better because I never made it myself but it really was worth this review. Even the bread they used for toast was good. I’ll defo recommend and also be back

Fantastic cakes, fantastic service and tasty too. A hidden gem indeed! Toastie was made with proper hunks of bread with decent filling, my husband's burger looked ok and my son demolished the macaroni cheese. Cakes were amazing! Looking forward to coming back!

I stayed at Sky Lodge accommodation, so found this cafe conveniently located, because I have disability heath conditions which makes it hard for me to cover long distances. The only thing did not like is the fry their foods in GMO oils. They notify you about this, but I found the text too small on the menu, so only noticed it after I ate the meal. I really loved eating at the cafe

Love this cafe. The service is fab and the staff all so friendly. The food is delicious, usual café favourites but so well done and prices are so reasonable. Today I had the tastiest BLT , make sure to have the homemade coleslaw - you won’t regret it! Have had breakfast previously too which was great. A good selection of baked goods all homemade- pies quiches cakes which can also be taken away. But possibly the best thing about this place is how dog friendly they are. There are bowls for water, treats and also a doggy menu. Not to mention how kind the staff are to their four legged visitors. My boy loves visiting after a long walk. Just fantastic - thank you

Where do I begin..? Returned to this establishment for the first time since lock-down and I certainly wish I hadn't bothered! Rude staff, an uneasy and cheerless (most certainly negative!) vibe pulsing through the place, and as if to add to my worries - fresh dog mess underneath one of the chairs in the corner! I mentioned the dog mess to one of the staff, who simply looked at me with a blank, almost impetuous gaze and mumbled "it wasn't there a minute ago, it must have been you!" Aghast and amazed, I demanded to speak to the manager... This feeble excuse of a company representative blatantly fobbed me off from the get-go! I could smell the faint aroma of pot, even though it was intoxicatingly mixed with the raw stench of newly laid dog turd... No acceptance of any responsibility, no remorse, no customer care! I turned around to my boyfriend and demanded that we leave, even though I was busting for a poo myself and virtually touching cloth (we had only gone in there to use the toilets)... If you do one thing sensible this year guys, avoid this bloody place! Would have given it zero stars but that wasn't an option... KK

a small group gad been invited up to the airport by an aircraft owner friend. he mentioned that we could have lunch at the Greasy Spoon cafe there. Very pleasantly surprised to find that reality was at the opposite end of the spectrum! It was a sunny day (YES!!) so the tables outside were full so we went inside to find a very pleasant seating area. The menu was quite varied with versions of pies, wraps, baked potato etc all with salad and/or the obligatory chips. Portions were not small! Food was piping hot and freshly cooked with one of our bunch describing the Coronation Chicken Baked Potato as 'to die for'

We had an enjoyable Sunday lunch after visiting an excellent seamstress next door (Hermione Edge Wear). Service was quick and friendly and the food very good value with large portions. The sausages with onion gravy in a Yorkshire pudding were especially brilliant. The place was comfortable and, very importantly, the toilet was clean and tidy.

Another great lunch visit. We were out training and needed provender. Having used Perth before, we naturally took a break there around 1:30 3 of us enjoyed sandwiches and a burger. All promptly served with no kerfuffle. Most excellent to see many local folk in enjoying the facilities, exactly what an airport café should be like.

Have only just recently discovered this amazing cafe despite living in Scone for years. The sausage rolls are the best I have EVER had and the home baking is incredible. The staff are very friendly and accommodating not just with us humans but also our dogs. There are hooks for leads and water and sometimes they get a wee treat too. It is also very reasonably priced. There are lots of fab walks around the airport with paths through the woods. Worth parking you car going for a walk then ending up for lunch at the cafe. I think it shuts at 2pm so make it a morning walk.

Having moved into this more rural area , finding this hidden gem at the airport was a godsend. No more trailing into Perth when we fancied something nice for lunch or a tasty treat ! The cafe has indoor/outdoor seating and is dog friendly ( check re inside with covid restrictions?). Everything is nice and clean and well maintained. The menu is geared towards lunches and tea/coffee and cakes. Everything is homemade and tastes delicious! They have that rare quality here of quality AND quantity, so be prepared ! Having only been twice so far i haven’t tried a lot from the menu , but can recommend the vegan hotdog with onions and the quiche. On the sweet side the chocolate cheesecake and coffee cake are worth trying. All home made also. So worth going out your way to get some excellent lunch or snacks to go from here. Recommended.

A recent discovery for us. Frequent travellers requiring half way coffee. We have been here three times and never been disappointed. Welcoming staff, decent coffee, good breakfast rolls. The cakes taste as good as they look. And They look so irresistible we had takeaway. And really decent value. We will never fly by again.

My first visit since the recent refurbishment and the difference is a huge improvement. Great selection of fresh and often homemade food ranging from full meals to snacks and sandwiches. Very popular with the staff and students at the airport. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are super friendly.

I’ve fallen into the habit of stopping here for lunch whenever I’m in the area. Don’t expect fancy decor or bone china...but you can definitely expect a varied menu, good food cooked to order and served in large portions, and a bit of easy banter from the two ladies who run the place and seem to really enjoy their work.

What a fantastic "Greasy Spoon". Excellent (huge) bacon rolls.Stopped to visit the local Auction rooms there. One of the porters was having the most enormous Scambled eggs and toast ever scene. Toilets were a bit tired , but clean. Staff were nice.

Called in at lunchtime for a quick bowl of soup. The cafe was very busy with staff who work around the airport being the majority of the customers. Only had the soup this visit but there was a choice of three different types on offer. I chose the ham broth and believe me it was amazing. Thick and hearty with lots of ham and it was accompanied by either crusty bread or a bread roll. The last time I tasted soup like that my granny made it. Huge menu on offer here and the prices are very reasonable.

This place is popular with flying enthusiasts and many others employed within Perth Airport. It's an unassuming building but much larger inside than what you imagine. The menu is displayed on blackboards above the counters and the choices are excellent for such an establishment. The home made soups are delicious as are the cakes and scones. Everything is very reasonably priced too. The staff are good fun and have always been cheery when I've visited. If you ever visit Perth Airport make it your first stop.

cant believe this place is still operating, went in for a breakfast, waited over 20 mins for food that had clearly been precooked, hard sausages and fatty cheap cuts of bacon, there also seemed to be a problem with the toilets as the smell wafted straight through the whole place which was very off putting, would not return.

We popped into the Touchdown Cafe at the weekend for a quick bite before our flight & ended up waiting an age! Our order, one panini, one toastie & a hot morning roll, not particularly difficult one would have thought. The girl that served us was very pleasant & having taken down our order put it through to the kitchen area where an older lady was barking orders to what appeared to be her son.

What a mind blowing experience. The food was exquisite .The elements that went into each dish were expertly done by a very talented chef. The service was out of this world. You actually didn't have to do a thing other than sit down and enjoy the 14 course experience. .If you ever get a chance to visit just once in your lifetime ,you really do need to try it .This is 2 star michelin at its very very best.Never have we ever tasted food so delicious

Another great addition to Perth’s already fantastic restaurant scene. We had all 4 of the small plates to share, 2 large wines, a pint and a nip for £50. The food was delicious and the girl who served us was lovely.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and this looked as if would suit all as there was a varied menu. 4 of us had from the Indian selection and the wee 1 had nuggets and chips. - We started with poppadum's and pickles, then for the mains we had the Chicken korma, chicken bhuna and lamb bhuna, pilau rice and nan bread. It was delicious. The service was quick. Would go back when next in Pitlochry

Had a lovely steak dinner in the terrace area, food was lovely but peppercorn sauce a bit too runny and hand cuts a bit over done. Husband had fish and chips said it was lovely. Staff very friendly and attentive.
