Pasha in Perth & Kinross

We were looking for somewhere to eat and this looked as if would suit all as there was a varied menu. 4 of us had from the Indian selection and the wee 1 had nuggets and chips. - We started with poppadum's and pickles, then for the mains we had the Chicken korma, chicken bhuna and lamb bhuna, pilau rice and nan bread. It was delicious. The service was quick. Would go back when next in Pitlochry

Decided to try this restaurant after spending the day out walking in Pitlochry. It was a cold snowy day, so we were absolutely starving. We liked the menu has it had a mixture of Italian and Indian food. We had our 8 year old son with us who had the pizza, and we had the Indian. We arrived quite early, so the restaurant was quite quiet, but before long it started to fill up. Food was excellent and good service. We would come back again the next time we are in Pitlochry.

We had a really nice lunch here. I had the hummus with a delicious side salad and bread. Partner had soup with sandwich baguette. Both very tasty and excellent value compared to some of the over priced venues in rest of Pitlochery. The inside is spacious, airy and clean. We will be back.

The soup was terrible. We hadn’t finished the starter when they brought out the main course. Never cleared the starter dishes from the table. Macaroni was tasteless lasagna was runny and the Indian food was not very good . All in all a total disaster. There was 14 of us and not one enjoyed the meal. Stay clear of this restaurant. Very disappointed

Honestly, I was a bit worried when I saw the 3.7 score.. took the risk.. and was impressed by the good food and service..

The Indian food was excellent and the service very friendly. As a Pitlochry resident we have been to the resrurant many times, but this was the first time for Indian food there.

I am speechless. I spent over £60 on a takeaway (it was my partners birthday ). My meal was bland and small. The chicken dansak had NO chicken in it. My King prawn biryani was dry, had a few small prawns in it and tasted of nothing and it cost £17.95! Everything was dull and dry. This was an awful experience and will never be repeated.

From all the photos of dishes and the flashing Open sign, I thought this was a a fast food type cafe. It's not. It serves all sorts from a scone to a curry. I had a really nice curry sitting in a table in the window, people watching. Prices in Pitlochry seem high but in fairness my portion was too big so I was able to take my leftovers away. One of the waiters could do with smiling a bit more but otherwise really good.

We enjoyed the food very much. Chicken tika masala for £15, with rice for £3.60, nan bread £4.95 - good value for money. Coke was served in a can... with a glass and ice. The waiter was very interested in where we came from and talked to us for a long time... at the end the chef even came to the table briefly. highly recommend 👍🏻

There were only a few people in the restaurant. Our order took 30 minutes because the waiter said it wasn’t microwaved. There was no apology for the long wait time. The chicken and the lamb were both overcooked. Don’t waste your time or your money here.

I ordered arrabiata pasta in take away and this is what they gave me. Pasta is of 12 pounds. This is just boiled pasta and doesn't have any veggies or arrabiata. This restaurant should be ashamed of making people fool. I had good food in less than 12 pounds in other restaurants in lunch. Total waste of money. I don't recommend anyone this restaurant.

If you are in the area and looking for delicious food, look no further than the restaurant. The place is a restaurant and a cafe. The place is large with many seats. The menu is varied and we tried the Indian food and it was very delicious. The service was fast. According to one of the employees, the restaurant is halal.

The Indian two-course meal (both lamb) tasted good. The staff can be a bit slow at times, especially when it's busy.

We chose Pasha's resturant because prices were reasonable. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the personable service received.

Best place to eat desi food. Biryani and pizza we ordered which was awesome the restaurant was about to close but the person named shaheen still let us dine in and eat our food calmly. Everyone is was so good. Felt like heaven there while living in a dumb hotel danalstair suites hotel.

Had a terrible experience with the Turkish coffee, which smelled like old oil. Upon complaining we were told that that’s how Turkish coffee is supposed to be :) The waiter was polite but it’s disheartening to see that substandard is being treated passed of as exotic flavor! We’ve obviously had and loved Turkish coffee and it definitely was not one. We paid for it since we didn’t want to argue but would warn you about ordering one here, unless they’ve changed the batch or done something about it.

We ordered Indian food, Rotis and chicken curry, Papads ( popodums ) and Mediterranean fafal with rice. Avoid the Indian food, its not Indian by any standards, probably Bangladesi. The rotis were a joke, made with the wrong flour, like rubber. The curry extremely oily, tasted like bad oil. The poppodums had a bad taste of old oil. Felt sick in the stomach after eating this food and hence compelled to write this review so that others can avoid!! To anyone looking for Indian food, do yourself a favour and avoid the Bangladeshi restaurants which disguise themselves as Indian!!! This a common scam in the UK!! The Mediterranean (falafal) food was good.

Visited tonight great friendly service ,chatty, which we loved created the warmth atmosphere which was great moussaka was a large portion accompanied with rice and large salad and I had chicken chasni and pilau rice which I had never had before was lovely will come again

Had honey and cheese chicken chef's special still lickin my lips today. Went back and had homemade lasagne, very tasty big helping, prices very reasonable compared to other local places, staff very friendly highly recommended

My daughter and I got food poisoning

I went with my friend for dinner,the food was delicious.Staffs are very friendly with a good ambiance.They have a very wide range of menu like Indian,Italian,Mediterranean .We had all Indian food from appetiser to dessert and everything was so perfect.It’s a budget friendly restaurant and I believe if you’re in Pitlochry you should visit at least once.

AVOID. I'm Indian, and I surely think one should avoid the Indian food here. It's pathetic.

On holidays in Pitlochry and found this restaurant with a good choice of food, great service and everything was excellent.

Ordered a takeaway for three. Lovely food, especially the vegetarian curry. Lovely staff. Next time we’ll sit in. Place was spotless and welcoming.

Went in for some quick tea service and realized they also serve Indian food. Great service, would highly recommend a quick stop. We were in a rush as our tour bus was waiting on 30minutes in pitlochry but we were in and out fast.

My wife and I share birthday's in the first week in December. We booked into a Spa Hotel for four nights. Our first night and our introduction to Pitlochry hospitality was Pasha. We were warmly welcomed at the door and invited to choose a table. Menu gave a good range of choice. First course on a cold Scottish night, warming tomato soup x 2. Absolutely delicious and served at a perfect temperature. Mains South Indian Hot Chilli and Lamb Moussaka. The curry was hot as promised, and tasted fantastic and the portion size was adequate and certainly on a par with most restaurants. My wife enjoyed the Moussaka with the salad and rice that portion in my mind was more than anticipated. Server Paulwas very good and attentive in fairness it wasn't an overly busy night but I have no reason to suspect that this would change greatly in a full restaurant. Drinks for a restaurants seemed reasonably priced. Overall a very enjoyable evening and as I said in the introduction a great start to Pitlochry hospitality.........thank you all.

Food used to be good. Last couple of times its been hit or miss. The price has creeped up gradually and the protion size has gone down. So now the food is highly overpriced and the protions have gradually got smaller and smaller over the last few months. I won't pay £20 for a single half portion of curry i'm afraid.

We got lucky when we found this place. Got a table straight away even though they seemed busy. The staff were lovely and the meals delicious. We had 4 currys and a cheese burger...all plates were cleared. The best curry we've had in a long time. Will definitely keep this this place in mind when we pass again.

A family of 5 with different likes and dislikes all found something here we really enjoyed. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night.

We were heading up to the Highlands and stopped off in a small town. This was our restaurant of choice in the area. The food was ok, the spicy chicken burger could have done with a bit more kick. My wife and daughter enjoyed their veggie meals. The staff are friendly. The food is ok. I thought the food was slightly more expensive than I expected for a place this remote and for what the food was.

The servers were so lovely and attentive. All questions were answered. The chicken sag was tasty, so was the chicken korma- so sweet and flavoursome. We had this with pilau rice and a pershwari naan. We were so full afterwards. For you plain janes who don’t like curry- they served some ‘English’ food too. My mum had fish and chips and said it was nice. No mushy peas available though. We followed it with a gorgeous cup of tea and an evening at the enchanted forest. Disabled toilet on ground level and more downstairs. Options for vegetarians at the back of menu and an array of different drinks.

We visited Pasha at closing time, having been travelling in the Highlands all day. The waiter greeted us with a smile and checked with the kitchen, who agreed to serve us despite they were due to close. We had some delicious food from a varied menu - something for everyone. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a warm and friendly feel to it. Would return! Thank you :)

Food was delicious, we had Haggis Bon bons and the Hummus for starters, and Butter Chicken/Boiled Rice and Chicken Tikka Masala/Pilau Rice for mains. Curries were fantastic, portion sizes were spot on. Lovely wee place.

We called in to have a late lunch, we had two kormas which we never usually have, we had one rice one garlic naan, friends had pie chips , really great food, would really recommend it. really great service & so friendly. thanks.

Don't walk past this place. Unassuming and quiet with a vast menu to suit everyone. A family of 5 adults, 3 teenagers - not always easy to please! Easily seated, we had curries, burgers and Turkish and every plate was clean. Friendly staff too

Lovely meal with some old colleagues. Starter and main curries were superb. Rice portion was 3 times what you'd get in Edinburgh. Naan super. Place was busy and staff did well to cater for all tastes. Clean and tidy excellent staff.

We weren't sure what to expect from a restaurant which serves Indian and Italian! But we were pleasantly surprised. The butter chicken, lasagne and biryani were lovely and my youngest was very happy with her fish fingers and chips!! It was slightly overpriced for what it was, but it was placed right in the centre of a tourist area, so was to be expected.

Dropped by for a quick takeout of falafel. Very quick and very tasty. Falafel was tender but crunchy, veggies were crunchy, hummus was yummy.

Hidden gem of Pitlochry, we tried the new Indian menu and it blew our minds. Don't be afraid to try spicy dishes as they are really tasty! Great service as well, as desert, I'd recommend the fudge cake.

The best chicken Pathia I have ever had and the peshwari nan bread is the best i have ever had also so given the opportunity i can thoroughly recommend this amazing hidden curry house to all lovers of Indian cuisine. If i could give more stars i would, the staff are very attentive to your needs also so nothing is too much trouble. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It was raining. There were tables available. I wish there hadn't been. Soup was allegedly lentil and ham.....I beg to differ. No idea what it was but it certainly wasn't lentil and ham as we know it. It was weird. And that was the opinion of all 4 of us, who, unfortunately, all decided on having it. Stick to making curries. It looks like that's where you shine but I'll need to take others' word for it as I won't be darkening your door again.

I have visit twice now and both times the food and service have been first class. Have eaten Indian meals both times Chasni was super as were the fish pakora and nan bread. I will return again soon.

Probably the worst Indian I have ever had, £15 for a spoonful of curry and £4.50 for rice £5.00 for a peshwari nan that was the size of a normal pitta bread, I would not recommend this to an enemy never mind a friend, stay well clear , avoid at all costs

We visit this restaurant every school holidays. It is the most amazing food. We love it..even extended family visit here while up in the area. My girls love it ...poppy says the food is "heavenly " and it is. Staff are wonderful feel like part...

This restaurant was excellent. Both my husband and I ordered lamb dishes that came with a fresh salad, basmati rice, sauces and expertly cooked lamb. The service was outstanding. Atmosphere pleasant. Excellent menu choices for multiple tastes. Highly recommend.

Kerbside appeal wasn't good. Overhead canopies were very dirty and tired. Desperately needs to be replaced or at least removed. Also, there was an A board with pictures of meals on which we're not appealing. In fact, if I had paid attention to this as many people would. I would not have gone in. I never noticed these till leaving. However, the restaurant across the road was full and I put my attention on looking inside to see how it looked and if it was busy. I was with 3 other people and the consensus was it looked OK. There were a few tables taken but not many. Which made me wonder if it was going to be ok. The town was very busy, there was even a large queue at the ice cream shop, which might be very good but it was a cold day. The restaurant sounded like it would have an Asian menu, possibly Indian. Also, the decor suggested this too. Maybe this also would limit the number of people it appealed to. However, the menu covered many options including Indian and Pizza etc. A very large selection. A well-known Scottish chef would be complaining about how difficult they were making things for themselves. We were greeted politely on entry and shown to a table near the window. We ordered drinks and food. The waiter wasn't great at his wine knowledge and didn't make us feel relaxed. One Pizza a salmon dish with rice, which had been altered from the menu selection didn't seem to be a problem and two Kormas. One Chicken and one Lamb with a Peshwari nan. All the food arrived without any problem correctly and was well presented and everyone agreed it was all very good. In fact, it may have been the best Chicken Korma I have had. The only slight disappointment was the Naan filling was a bit gritty. Maybe sugar? was causing this. The waiter appeared to be disappointed that we did not order dessert. Overall a much better experience than I expected. A few more pleasantries from the staff. A spruce up to the outside and make it look less like an Indian Restaurant and I'm sure it would improve the number of customers they get.
