The 2 star review is for the food, which was good, albeit a sandwich and two coffee’s.Something wrong if you can’t get that right. And that folks is where the praise ends. On arrival, cafe was reasonably busy. Got seated and handed menu’s. Waited around 10 minutes, with no sign of anyone coming to take our order so decided to go to the counter, only to be told rather abruptly that someone was coming. Had our coffee’s and sandwich after which my wife decided to go to the ladies toilet. On returning i could see she was not amused ( you get to know the signs after 30years of marriage) Thankfully, i was not the subject this time of her dissatisfaction! She said the toilet was a disgusting disgrace. I doubted it could be that bad but i have learned to agree in most circumstances. Happy wife, happy life and all that. I too then decided to use the facilities and on reaching the toilets, it was apparent that the gents was out of order. Not because of a sign saying so! No, but due to an obstruction intentionally jammed infront of the gents door making it impossible to open, and with no other alternative, i made the deduction the use of the ladies was the only option. All i can say is that my wife was right! The only working toilet was a disgrace. Urine soaked seat, and urine soaked floor and unpleasent odour. Not to mention the toilet is raised on a plinth which is shoddy to say the least, never mind being a trip hazard for someone a bit unsteady underfoot. Linoleum floor ripped, wooden lining a mess and decor dirty. Roll of paper simply laid on worktop next to sink for hand drying. All in all, disgraceful for a toilet in a cafe. I am off the opinion, if you run a cafe / restaurant then the two main areas for cleanliness being a must is the kitchen and the toilets. This placd certainly fails miserably on the toilet. Never saw the kitchen but can only hope the level of cleanliness and customer care is better in this department. Unlike Arnie, doubt we will be back!! As noted, food was fine.

We visited the Quiach for dinner with our dog when staying at a local caravan park. The Quiach had a really warm, welcoming atmosphere for us & the dog who was greeted with pats, treats & water. Service was really exceptional. Menu was basic, a few of the small plates were sold out but the food we did have (fish & chips with a side of onion rings) was really good - well presented, big portions, well cooked and tasty. Would recommend.

Good quality food and reasonable price. I really recommend the Kathmandu lamb if you like spice.

We needed to buy some last-minute desserts for vegan visitors. The shop had closed but the owner saw us and opened up the shop for us. We told him what we needed and he took us through everything that could fit, not rushing us in the slightest. The shop had a great range of vegan desserts and we managed to get exactly what we wanted. Very friendly and personal customer service. We will definitely be back.

Staff very friendly. Allowed us to takeaway an order close to closing time. Spaghetti bolognaise was the best I have had in a while.

Absolutely brilliant weekend. Family time with sister brother in law, brother sister in law and sister’s sister in law and husband. Well that’s a bit of a tongue twister. We had a fabulous weekend together. Weather wasn’t great but the service and meals made up for it. Food was of the highest standard. Good quality and healthy home made recipe’s with plenty of it made our visit all the more special. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Very clean with an emphasis on Covid 19 safety precautions. Every member of our group agreed that they would certainly go back for another visit, so we have booked rooms for the same time next year. Good selection of shop made chocolate Bought “animal “ shaped chocolates which the granddaughter enjoyed.

We had a lovely nice girl serve us and she was so welcoming and lovely mannered. We only got drinks in here, we looked at the lunch time menu and it looked very appealing.

Spent evenings here twice in 2025 during stays at the Crieff Hydro. Very unassuming, small restaurant with attentive service. The absolute highlight was the food, with our curries as good as we've had anywhere in Scotland. We live around an hour away from here, but considering travelling the extra miles, it was that good. Highly recommended.

An imaginative menu; delicious, freshly prepared dishes beautifully presented and served in a cosy but casual environment. Well-trained staff.

Ordered Takeaway from The Tower, food was 100% quality. Will definitely eat there again. Friendly staff and great service.

I really wanted this to be great. Unfortunately, it wasn't even good. The fishcakes were battered, and the fish did not taste very fresh. I know this is Scotland, but thai fishcakes should not be battered. Green papaya salad was 80% carrot and lacked flavour. Descriptions did not meet the food that arrived. Finally, under no circumstances should anyone ever order the ice cream. It may have been lurking in a freezer since the ice age.

Local bakery with something to suit everyone. We go for an occasional treat, but you can see that it is used by many 'regulars' and passing trade too. Not the easiest to park near but worth it

We visited last night as a big group, 8 adults and 8 children. From when we booked the service was excellent, prompt, friendly replies and we preordered with ease. We arrived and were seated quickly and drinks orders taken. Our waiter was exceptional, nothing was a hassle and he was brilliant with the kids. The food came quickly and again I would say was fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the experience overall was excellent. I would 100% return and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
