Staff and food were brilliant. We returned twice in a week. Tried the Tapas the first time and returned for a burger. Both were great but some of the tapas dishes were amazing.

Food was amazing and the service was great. Lovely romantic area. Music was so soothing. Thank u so much for a wonderful night

Tasty evening meal this weekend. Managed to get a table last minute and had a really delicious meal. The gambas prawn were amazing! As were both our main meals too. No room for dessert unfortunately!

When I was visiting friends in Crieff, they suggested coming here for a meal as we are all great fans of tapas and Spanish food. It was fabulous! The food was so tasty, authentic and obviously freshly cooked. Absolutely delicious! I think I could have eaten everything on the menu! Between the 3 of us, we had 6 tapas and 2 portions of chips and it was just the right amount. When visiting them again, I will definitely be requesting another visit here. Muchas gracias. Nice place, the football was on and super loud throughout the bar, which wasn’t ideal given we chose a seated area with no screens.

Popped in for some dinner during our stay in Crieff. Our greeting, the staff and the wonderful tapas we had were all amazing. We ended up there by chance, it was a nice surprise. Spanish cuisine, nice tapas . The chicken burger was enormous and very yummy. It is not a fancy place but it's perfect for drinks and a bite

Just been mountain biking and thought we’d pop into here for a wee pint, saw they had food so thought we’d give it a bash. Listen, I could just be super hungry but the burger I had was insane, 2 patties, bacon, Parma ham, completely unnecessary but it turns out, completely necessary, banging. Bar staff sound as too, large up, come visit this spot.

The table was dirty and sticky. No table service. We serve you the coke without a glass. On the other hand, for football fans, there are screens everywhere.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem and we were absolutely delighted that we did. I expected just a standard club sandwich so was impressed to be given a tapas menu. The food was very reasonably priced and was delicious. I would highly recommend the; potatoes with mojo, jamon croquettes and meatballs. But everything we had was scrumptious. The staff were also lovely and extremely attentive.

Great place to hang, eat, drink and maybe catch a game of football- great atmosphere and a warm welcome from the locals.

Delicious food and nice atmosphere

Waited at least 45 minutes for 2 simple meals plain hot dog and chicken strips. Wish I hadn't paid first as after 30 minutes I asked the girl how long our order was going to be. When she came back upstairs informed us at least another 10 minutes. When the food arrived was just OK. I asked for a coffee as the one I had 45 minutes earlier was meant to accompany my food. She gave my husband a new pot of tea as well as an apology. Will not be back.

Cold fries and cold in the place,, burgers were good but kids food very poor, barman was friendly though

The restaurant was basically empty but our order took nearly an hour to be served. They warned us it was going to be a wait but with only 2-3 other tables occupied, how much of a wait could it be? The haggis Bon bins were over fried with some even burnt. Chips were cold. Very simple meals should not take nearly an hour to come out. The burgers were good but it wasn’t a pleasant experience because of the long wait.

Popped through to Crieff for a short half day and this bar looked decent for a spot of lunch, just a couple of baguettes. The staff member was very pleasant and we thought it would be quick but our food order didn't turn up after almost an hour of waiting. There was only one small group in when we entered so it wasn't like they were busy. The staff member did notice we hadn't been served mid-way through and assured on way but still nothing came. To make matters worse a couple who were situated behind us and had sat down 20 to 30 mins before us got served their food and it was just baguettes, same. That was it and we walked out hungry. The girl did apologise and said it's just coming again and did we want takeaway but we had lost interest by then. Sadly since looking at other reviews this has happened before and some time ago so looks like Management have never addressed this issue of slow service. So slow we had to leave and couldn't wait anymore. Sad

Any good reviews must be well in the past. Popped in for lunch. It was very cold so sat with our jackets on. Service was very slow. Overpriced for very below par food. £14.50 for a half baguette and almost cold chips. Macaroni was made with what tasted like a strong Brie cheese so not suitable for kids menu really. There are much nicer places to eat and we wished we had gone elsewhere

Booked for a friend's birthday lunch, waited over an hour for our food, steak baguettes x2 both sent back as inedible waited further half hour for replacement order, really disappointed as have been before, also very cold surroundings.

Came Saturday night and Sunday morning for drinks. The place is freezing. On a cold January Saturday night they didn't even have the fire on, no wonder it was dead. Other places in town busier, warmer and much better! Expensive drinks.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff, excellent food, and a decent selection of beer. Pity that there wasn’t an IPA, but I won’t quibble.

A great place! Ticked all of our boxes- dog friendly with a water bowl at our table within 2 mins of arriving. An amazing mojito- I normally don’t order this out as normally terrible- however it was perfect every time! Nachos were probably the best nachos we’ve had out. 10/10. Thank you to all staff for their lovely hospitality.

Dropped in on Sunday for a late lunch. Staff made us feel very comfortable. Great pub grub. I had a burger and my wife chose the Mac and Cheese. Both were excellent 👌. Top marks all round .

Lovely pub, girl behind the bar and serving food was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Food was 10/10... Really enjoyed both courses... The second course took a bit of time to come but was nice to have the wee break between courses and it was worth the wait! Totally recommend a visit to this lovely place for food. Would have loved to have tried a cocktail but was driving!

We had dinner here on Wednesday 9/8..staff very friendly and welcoming, the dinner was delicious, beef and ale pie, and Mac and cheese,yes we were told it would be 25/30 mins wait but it was certainly worth it when it came, we where staying at Murraypark Hotel and had dinner in the hotel restaurant the night before and it was no where near as delicious as this was. Would highly recommend “The Square”..Great value for money.

Staff pleasant enough but food pretty bad. Literally a main served with chips. Thought I'd forgotten to order a side of veg but there aren't any on the menu. It's a vitamin free zone. Pie was alright, but burger not good at all. Just so weird that there wasn't even a pea on offer.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here with my partner, he had fish and chips and I had the macaroni both of which were delicious. Bar tender was lovely too.

We went there after a hike. The pub was recommended by a restaurant (Craobh - Kroov) nearby. The dog friendly pub wasn't too busy at around 1630. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fish and chips were very good. Price was typical for a tourist region. We would come again.

Great place for a few cold beers ,me and my mates were in crieff for a week while cruising around Scotland on our motorcycles and all the people in Scotland made us welcome where ever we went,so thank you Scotland and especially the people of crieff ,we will be back that's for sure 😊😊.

Just had to have the Nachos 😋 absolutely cheesed out, delicious with the side dips and a portion of salty fries and just a quick walk from our hotel on a quiet Monday night.

We went for a lunch last week. The barman was very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the food which was a variety of enjoyable tapas , really good.

Really nice place to have a meal. We ordered the fish and chips, delicious! In fact, it's one of the best fish and chips we have had in a while. We were in for a bar lunch and found no-one else was eating and as the place was virtually empty my wife found it a bit cold, even though she sat next to the radiator, I expect it will warm up as it gets busier. The toilets are downstairs and along past the speakeasy in the basement. The server was polite, prompt and well presented. Definitely worth a visit.

Had lunch on New years eve with my mum who was visiting Crieff. Had the kids portion of fish and chips which was a perfect amount and was delicious. Really friendly and accomodating staff. A very enjoyable hour. If I was being picky the plates could have been warmed as it was quite chilly and I hate my food going cold while I'm still eating it. As I said picky !! Otherwise would highly recommend for locals and visitors.

A large, lively pub in the middle of Crieff. A mainly young crowd. Very spacious with many more seats than you'd think when you enter. By far the liveliest place in Crieff, but quieter on week days. Does have screens but they're silent and everyone seems to ignore them.

I've come all the the way from Wales and I can't believe how excellent the customer service from Ewan McGregor I had. I'm felt so welcome and he gave serive with great smile and confidence. Typical pub food menu. Food was nice when it came, but was very very slow, even the kids meal which we had asked for as soon as it was ready. Soup, sanwiches and salad as it was lunchtime, all nice.

The four of us were on a day visit and picked here to have lunch, very disappointed it looked welcoming but don't be diseeved. Very pricey for what you get, l ordered the steak baguette it was half baguette with French fries you can get from farmfoods, my husband and brother in laws had spiced fish and chips which nobody liked. So avoid at all costs
