Beautifully presented hotel and restaurant. This was our first visit to Cairn Lodge for a family dinner. We were unfortunately disappointed by the standard of food, particularly the ribeye steaks. Fillet steaks looked amazing, however the ribeyes appeared to be sourced from a different supplier, lacking flavour and being overcooked. It would have been appreciated if someone had inquired about our main course, as we would have shared our thoughts. I sensed that the staff may have been hesitant to engage with us after serving the steaks, likely due to their awareness of the quality issues.

On a long drive on a hot sunny day, fortunately we saw the sign for ice-cream and we stopped. We're very glad we did! A good range of flavours and two ( huge) scoops each at very reasonable charge, we were refreshed and on our way. Thank you! Pity we could try a pizza ( or two!) 👍

Wandering around whilst my wife stranded a lunchtime meeting today & dropped upon this gem. A glass of Portuguese Pinot Noir served at a perfect temperature and a cheese board of exceptional quality made killing time an absolute pleasure. Nice little menu and could easily spend many hours in here. Thankyou

Tonight we decided to try the Dunning hotel for our evening meal. The bar is quirky for an older style hotel with bench style seating with cushions. My wife ordered the beef steak pie with vegetables and chips, and I ordered the klopski polish pork meatballs in a tomato sauce, both dishes were very tasty . The meat in the beef steak pie was beautiful and tender with a nice rich flavoured gravy. The polish style meatballs had a lovely flavoursome tomato sauce. The Dunning hotel is nothing fancy but was welcoming and friendly 👍

This place is clean, tidy and a pleasant to be in I would recommend it highly. We only went for a coffee but the food being served looked delicious

We had a lovely afternoon at the Tee room😀Welcomed warmly on arrival by the staff, locals and the passing golfers, such a friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the afternoon tea (a great price of £20 for 2) freshly made scones, sausage rolls (so tasty) a delicious caramel sponge, shortbread, generously filled sandwiches (of our choice) topped with mouthwatering tablet, it was well presented and tasted just as good as it looked, we did order the mushroom soup too ( it was a cold day and we didn’t realise the amount of food we were going to get) however the soup was absolutely beautiful and we were kindly given a box to take home our left over treats. We both really enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again.

2nd Hogmanay at The Coorie and again had a fabulous evening. The atmosphere when you arrive was warm and welcoming. The menu from start to finish accompanied with pairing wine was delicious. Loved every course. The attention to detail with each course, Andrew explaining every dish , Johnie describing each wine, all perfect. Going out side to hear the piper bring the bells in finished off a wonderful way to bring in 2025.🩷

We had a lovely pub lunch today. Really delicious food, cosy atmosphere, clean and dog friendly. Staff are so polite and chatty. I even loved the playlist they had on. We will definitely be back.

Held a family lunch for 19 here before Christmas, the communication was excellent through Eileen, and on the day Andrew and his team looked after us very well all afternoon. Food good, a nice location to hold a get together and reasonably priced too. Recommended.

This was our 2nd visit and it was just as good as the first. Food is amazing in a very cosy atmosphere. Service was excellent too. Will definitely be returning as we live local.

Good selection of takeaway food and great homebaked cakes. The staff are lovely and engaging and make you feel welcome.

A fantastic stop for breakfast in Auchterarder this morning. Have visited the Perth restaurant before and this one is just as good. I had the full breakfast and it was delicious. I also thought it was excellent value for money, less than £50 for 4 breakfast dishes plus drinks.

We have eaten here before on quite a few occasions over the years. You forget just how good the experience is. You remember individual courses, or chat, or a wine, but you do forget just what a huge amount of effort is put into the full evening by the whole team. The front of house staff are just as good as the chefs working behind the scenes, and that takes a lot to live up to. It is, quite simply, exceptional.
