Beautifully presented hotel and restaurant. This was our first visit to Cairn Lodge for a family dinner. We were unfortunately disappointed by the standard of food, particularly the ribeye steaks. Fillet steaks looked amazing, however the ribeyes appeared to be sourced from a different supplier, lacking flavour and being overcooked. It would have been appreciated if someone had inquired about our main course, as we would have shared our thoughts. I sensed that the staff may have been hesitant to engage with us after serving the steaks, likely due to their awareness of the quality issues.

On a long drive on a hot sunny day, fortunately we saw the sign for ice-cream and we stopped. We're very glad we did! A good range of flavours and two ( huge) scoops each at very reasonable charge, we were refreshed and on our way. Thank you! Pity we could try a pizza ( or two!) 👍

Wandering around whilst my wife stranded a lunchtime meeting today & dropped upon this gem. A glass of Portuguese Pinot Noir served at a perfect temperature and a cheese board of exceptional quality made killing time an absolute pleasure. Nice little menu and could easily spend many hours in here. Thankyou

2 night stay at The Dunning Hotel. Food - Fantastic, generous portion size, reasonably priced. Pub is warm with the fire roaring and the decor is cute. WOW, this chef knows how to cook! Absolutely delicious. Accommodation - Comfortable bed, warm, clean and has Tea/Coffee making facilities in room. Very cosy feel to the room and surprisingly quiet given rooms are above the pub. Staff - Super friendly staff always willing to offer suggestions on sites to see in the area and making sure you have everything you need for your stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to stay here when visiting Dunning or even Perth. Locals make you feel welcome and will happily sit and chat for as little or as long as you want. Thank you to all The Dunning Hotel staff for making it an unforgettable stay!

A lovely intimate space, with friendly staff and impeccable food

This place is clean, tidy and a pleasant to be in I would recommend it highly. We only went for a coffee but the food being served looked delicious

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. They offered a full vegetarian breakfast, with vegetarian haggis, two different vegetarian sausages and bacon! Wonderful!

Absolute perfection. What a wonderful team. Went out of their way to make it a fabulous trip in celebration of my BIG birthday this year. The food is top notch and i can honestly say, best I've ever tasted. All produce is locally sourced. The owners should be very proud of what they have achieved in such a short time. The accommodation is beautiful. The elegance of antique furniture with the odd modern piece in every room. The standard of cleanliness was extremely high much to my delight. This small hotel has quickly become the number one in my top ten. I would like to give a special mention to Lisa and Johannes. You are both treasures. Will definitely return. We were staying at the Duchally lodges in Auchterarder (near Glen Eagles) but wanted a local pub for Sunday lunch. This is a lovely pub with open fire. Staff are happy and smiling and food was amazing. Good choice of food and good value too.

It was well cooked. Amazing service! The food was fantastic the ice cream was so good as well

Only dog friendly place in town, though no indoor seating

Made a special autumn trip to Cafe Kisa for coffee and cake. It’s been a while and the old Cafe Kisa we once knew is now a fabulous new Cafe Kisa restaurant and coffee venue, same street, just across the road. Beautiful venue, excellent staff, warming tasty coffee, yummiest scones ever. Wish we were staying for lunch, though it is always best to book. Having mobility issues I always dread, often fear, having to visit the special access facilities. Hallelujah, stunning, great care and consideration has been given to visitors to this facility, thank you. My husband managed to climb the stairs to the toilets and his comment was - amazing. Worth the climb. Cafe Kisa is such a great asset to this lovely village, lucky locals. We hope to visit again soon as the food we saw being served was truly mouthwatering.

Had the "Taster"/"Degustation" menu. Unbelievable food and the service was exceptional.

Great atmosphere, service and menu. Would've preferred some dressing for arranging on salad bed and dessert, although very tasty, was way too sweet. Overall it was great experience and I'd go back for more food.
