Just returned from having the best meal. Food was superb and portion sizes were spot on. From the ambient atmosphere to the wonderful service staff the Coorie Inn was exceptional. Would highly recommend booking a table. Will most definitely return and next time would like to stay in the hotel as it was a delightful experience.

Beautiful place to stay with lovely staff and we had a fantastic dining experience too. Our room was beautifully decorated and cozy on a cold evening. Loved how they tiled the bathroom too. The food here is exceptional so I’d recommend booking a table, even if you aren’t staying in one of the rooms. Breakfast in the morning is great too and they give you plenty of options on the menu.

We stopped in early evening on the off chance if a table and were offered dinner in the bar. The menu was interesting, Perthshire lamb tartare taking my interest in the starters. But we went for hand dived scallops served to share, served with a top drawer "Prawn Toast". For mains, I chose Guinea Fowl , confit leg, turnip, brown sauce. My son had the pork, fillet & belly, white cabbage, black garlic ketchup. We had roasted potatoes and green bean sides. All the food was presented beautifully, delicious and well balanced with contrasting tastes and textures to enjoy. Service was friendly and food came promptly, but was not rushed.

Fantastic stay, dinner and breakfast. Superb welcome and hospitality from the team, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food is excellent, modern, seasonal and great cooking skills in the kitchen. Can't wait to return for our Sunday lunch in a few weeks. We had 3 starters 2 mains 3 desserts and all were special, the attention to detail was fantastic, the quality of the ingredients superb and the flavors amazed. Would without doubt recommend the Coorie Inn to all.

We had a fantastic overnight stay here for my birthday. All staff were really friendly, room was immaculate and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent with a range of options to suit all guests. We didn’t dine in the restaurant except for breakfast but it looked great and super cosy with the fires. The Inn has been renovated to a high standard with modern touches whilst still retaining all period charm. Every area was well maintained and clean, with housekeeping doing an amazing job.

We had the most amazing stay at the Coorie Inn over Easter. Recently refurbished, our room was cosy & comfortable with a spacious & clean bathroom (complete with a free standing bathtub!). Loved the warm & homely ambience created by the thoughtful decor. We also stayed for Sunday lunch - by far one of the best meals I had during my visit to Scotland. Delicious, hearty & generous portions - I also appreciated that we were given all the Sunday roast trimmings with the non-meat options (highly recommend the fish). My favourite dish was the chocolate fondant, which was SO good I had it twice during my one-night stay there. Outstanding flavours & service for amazing value - the inn is definitely worth a visit even if it's just for a meal. Staff were lovely, attentive, & very welcoming. The inn is independently run & you can tell that so much love has been poured into it. A hidden gem nestled in Muthill, I cannot recommend this enough!

The Coorie Inn is such an amazing country style restaurant. We sat in the bar area beside the roaring fire for a drink prior to going through to the restaurant to dine I have been wanting to have the Sunday roast menu for a while, it did not disappoint. Best roast dinner I have ever had by a country mile. There is a great selection on the menu for all tastes while using high quality seasonal produce. This is the my new favorite place. Team are all fantastic, making you feel so comfortable as soon as you come through the door and a high standard of service by all. If you have not visited Coorie Inn, you are missing out. Run!

Booked a room last minute and was welcomed to a wonderfully cozy hotel, great menu at restaurant and cold drinks. The downstairs bar is great to relax in by the fire. Situated in a nice and quiet town. Clean and spacious room with a large luxurious soaking tub with fabulous views. Plenty of parking. Staff was absolutely superb, highly recommended! Beautiful countryside drives nearby

We went for dinner recently and agreed it was the best meal either of us had had in a long time. Service was excellent, everyone was very attentive but never interrupting, and the ambience in the bar and restaurant is spot on. Would highly recommend the pork cheek starter, the beef main with broccoli and celeriac sides, and the rhubarb for dessert as they were all very well balanced dishes and excellent portion sizes. We can't wait to come back, well done to the team for creating such a wonderful experience.

Just as I was starting to lose faith in the food service industry in Scotland, discovered this wee gem. We travelled from Glasgow, only 40 mins, straight road. We stayed overnight, the rooms which have just been newly refurbished are beautiful, comfy and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was 1st class. Great value for money given the quality. Would highly recommend. Keep up the good work!

2023 review, new owners and new name. Booked for lunch after seeing some lovely photographs of food, particularly a steak pie with marrow bone centre. Set off in excited anticipation, however lunch menu was lack lustre, locally sourced beef burger and venison sausages, which I too, can buy as a local! One item not available. No substitute. Meal was ok, braised beef was over salted. Served with macaroni cheese which seemed odd pairing! Cod fish finger sandwich also ok. Not what we were looking forward to, Disappointed! I think dinner may have more input from chef.

Had the pleasure of an overnight stay with my daughter , granddaughter and son in law and it was wonderful. The Inn is so quaint and inviting. Sitting by a log fire was so cosy and the staff were lovely . I would highly recommend this lovely place to stay . The rooms were spotless and the beds were so comfortable. We will definitely be back for another visit. The food was amazing though a wee bit expensive but definitely worth every penny.

Exceptionally family B&B - We had a wonderful week as guests of James and Leesa! If you want a beautiful, spacious B&B with warm, open and friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast - this is it! :) Accommodation/feeling: Depending on your personal taste, you can have a “quick and easy” stay here: say hello, get a room, stay 1-2 nights, have breakfast and leave again. OR (clear recommendation!): You can use the breakfast/lounge room in the house with a fantastic view and winter garden panoramic windows as well as the small garden. You can have a nice chat - no matter how good or bad your English is: James and Leesa are happy to chat with you if you want. The breakfast is very extensive with lots of choice and is unusually great by British standards. There is very good, freshly ground filter coffee, many different types of tea and also hot chocolate. In addition to the classic warm selection (Scottish, eggs, porridge), there is a variety of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cornflakes, spreads from jam to peanut butter and the warm food is pleasantly less greasy than usual 👍🏻😊 All of this is served in the beautiful, sunny breakfast room with a view of the Tay and with a warm good morning and - if you like - a bit of chat. We were happy to have James give us the “tip of the day” in the morning and every single one was great! :) Leesa is the sweet soul of the house. When French guests were in the house, she added fresh croissants to the breakfast in the morning. Another day she gave away a homemade version of toffee. Overall, the two of them were by far the warmest and most familiar hosts we ever had on two trips to Scotland ☺️☀️ Room: Our room (Blue Room) was quiet, very spacious, well equipped, very clean, absolutely homely and typical of the country. What I really liked was the neatly packed mattresses - a clear plus point for allergy sufferers! But here's the only negative point: the beds are also typical of the country - with a lot of spring and (for German backs) a little harder (but still far from back pain!). I folded and placed the extra wool blanket as a cushion, but softer mattresses or the option of getting a topper would be a good improvement. :) Location: The B&B is absolutely ideal! You are right on the street in all directions without it being noisy. You can go on various hikes or cycle directly from your front door. Both the Cairngorms and the local Highlands are right there. There are many castles nearby, endless hiking trails with and without waterfalls. With Pitlochry there are many bars and restaurants nearby - here too: ask James! ;) There is also a larger COOP and bus routes to all major cities. Clear recommendation - definitely stay longer than 1-2 nights and drive a little further to your excursions! ☺️👍🏻

Drove out today ordered soup and bread with butter soup now £4.20 but if I wanted bread with my soup I was to be charged an extra £1.55 for the privilege, soup was okay however white bread arrived I'd ordered brown but close , already slathered in cheap margarine . Sent back and money returned. everytime we go here prices go up service seems to go down whatever happened to the little portions of butter you used to serve with soup and bread .not exactly haute cuisine or a salubrious place to dine however food has up until recently always vern reasonably priced and good to eat .
