Touchdown Cafe in Perth & Kinross

I was there today with my son who has passed his pilot license and he was taking me on a flight. We had a very tast roll and bacon. After the flight we bought cakes to take home. I’m now eating the lemon and coconut cake and it is absolutely delicious. Worth travelling to Perth for, besides my flight experience 😂

Never forget how a simple visit to this cafe turned into an opportunity to get up close to a WW2 Spitfire! The food and staff were lovely...will drop in anytime I can...my wife also was impressed. It is these small but true delights in life that make the difference.

Went in after a walk for brunch. Very friendly good banter, food was great, service good.will be back.😀

Drove out today ordered soup and bread with butter soup now £4.20 but if I wanted bread with my soup I was to be charged an extra £1.55 for the privilege, soup was okay however white bread arrived I'd ordered brown but close , already slathered in cheap margarine . Sent back and money returned. everytime we go here prices go up service seems to go down whatever happened to the little portions of butter you used to serve with soup and bread .not exactly haute cuisine or a salubrious place to dine however food has up until recently always vern reasonably priced and good to eat .

Excellent coffee. Very good food. Fast service and pleasant staff. You have to park at the foot of the control tower and walk 5 minutes. Dog accepted. Possibility to take away. Good and inexpensive.

First time there this morning for breakfast and it was piping hot and delicious. Definitely be back again

Stopped here for a quick bite. Decent menu, prices average. Coronation chicken roll, lots of chicken, no fruit but it is a rarity to find somewhere that does, roll was lovely. Burger and chips was ok. In general it was ok, no complaints. Cakes looked fantastic. Would only go in if passing, that's down to location for us.

Ordered a buffet catering from touchdown cafe for a birthday party and it was the most amazing buffet! Food was so fresh and delicious and went down an absolute treat. Would 100% order from them again if hosting again x

Very friendly efficient staff who know exactly what's in the food. Cakes are delicious, although not cheap. Would definitely come again for the macaroni cheese! My son devoured his today!

Out for breakfast this morning. Disappointed with the quality of produce. Latte was watery. We had a bacon roll. Black pudding on toast, which didn’t taste fresh and was over cooked and quite greasy. Certainly didn’t taste freshly cooked. Sausages were herby and quite plasticky. Toast had margarine, so not toast & butter as advertised. Rolls were cheap. . . Won’t be returning

A lovely, friendly little cafe at Perth Airport - just what I needed after a long early morning drive. Breakfast (bacon, eggs and toast) were freshly cooked and were very tasty. Service was excellent !

What a cracker of a place! Lovely cafe tucked away at Scone Airport. Totally dog friendly, so perfect for a bit of refreshment after walking your dog out at Scone Woods. Food great value , superb range and delicious. This is a genuinely great friendly wee spot and a new favourite of mine.

Food is awesome and staff are so nice.

We visited the cafe 4 years ago when here on holiday. So while here again on holiday we thought we would see if still as good quality food. We weren’t disappointed we had the breakfast which was all cooked fresh and hot when came to the table. Cafe spotless staff very welcoming and helpful. Can also recommend the coffee and walnut cake which I took away for later in the day. We will definitely be back before going home.

This is a great place. Food on point and the staff always welcoming. Make sure you save space for the slices of cake they have. The carrot cake is a must have!

We'll I must say I was very impressed! It's a really nice little cafe, great food & very nice friendly staff. It's so fresh & clean with plenty of seating! I think it may be the only public cafe at Perth Airport. it's well worth a visit. The only slight, down side was the disposable plastic cutlery & expanded polystyrene trays they use for carry out food. But that aside.. I highly recommend a visit, everything was absolutely perfect!

Great wee cafe unfortunately they are not allowed to have a sign down at the main road, they just about had to lock us In today so they could get finished for the day, and that was not a problem to them.

We visited here on a wet and windy morning, the last day of our holiday in Scone. Had been searching online for a dog friendly cafe and found this one by chance. It was a pleasant surprise - extremely clean, probably the cleanest cafe and toilets we have visited all week, and the drinks and cakes were delicious. Fantastic little place. Would highly recommend!

Excellent food and very welcoming staff. Whilst attending courses I've eaten here many times and worked my way through the whole menu almost and every generously portioned meal has I've enjoyed thoroughly, couldn't recommend it more.... In fact I'll be going back every weekday for the next 5 weeks for lunch!!

Popped in for a hot drink and bite to eat....got more than I bargained for... Beautiful hot chocolate with marsmellows and smoked bacon roll on the side....just what I needed on a cold snowy day. Excellent burger and some of the best, crispiest chips around. Plus the place itself has that authentic old school diner style and feel that you mostly can't find any more. Well worth a visit to the airport even if you're not flying!

Having visited This wee cafe several times since being taken Over, I have Yet to be Disappointed. From a Simple cup of Tea and Cake, to a Big stack burger and chips (for the seriously Hungry might I add) through to the wonderful homemade soups with thick rustic bread, Guaranteed to see you. Through to teatime. The staff are very accommodating to Ones requests where they Can, even when they Are run off their feet they will Do their very best for you. The staff Themselves are Super friendly and really lovely to chat with, they love a giggle and seem to always great you with the warmest of receptions just because they are genuinely warm, friendly people. Children are welcome to and cater for their needs brilliantly. In my opinion the cafe is well worth a visit any time you can.....I'll. certainly be going back very soon!
