Great experience highly recommend. Unless you are desperate Dan, you can only manage the small plate.... honestly believe me it is far from "small" I had a salad and it was fresh and crisp with chicken, and the fillet, which can be dry, was lovely

I was part of a booking for 22 ladies for lunch on Friday. Paul and his staff were extremely welcoming, it was no bother for us to bring our own mini cakes for our celebration. Good home cooked food, generous portions, prices good, tasteful décor. Will definitely be back with the family.

Not your average village pub, more like a relaxing restaurant. We were a group of six and each person was delighted with their meal. The food was presented in an appetising way and the portion size was big. Service was excellent and the restaurant manager was welcoming and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend the Village Inn.

This was our first time at The Village Inn and it definitely won't be our last. Fantastic meal, large portions and served by lovely friendly staff. My compliments to the chef.

There did not appear to be much in the way of vegetarian dishes, but after research I believe there is a vegetarian menu which I shall definitely ask for next time. The staff are lovely, good coffee and the place itself is stunning. A really nice place to visit in Bridge of Earn.. I shall definitely be back. Thank you very much for a pleasant afternoon, great service.

Lovely lunch today in this super little restaurant. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Food was delicious , chicken curry lovely and chicken pie exceptional.. Will return next time in area.

Had heard good things about this place for long enough. The wait did not disappoint, lt has a lovely homely atmosphere, nicely decorated. Menu as expected from pub grub. Good prices with massive portions. Food served hot. Staff attentive but not overly so. Bus stop right out front. Good drinks selection. Definitely will go back.

Brilliant. The food, service and the washroom - very good. Had a very filling ( over filling rather) lunch. The portion quantity is good. The service is prompt and the washroom is clean and tidy. Parking is on the roadside but there is ample space. One can park all the way up on the bridge as well. I had a portion of onion rings, Chicken burger and spicy chicken pasta served with garlic bread. And all three were delicious.

Best place to eat in town. Good food, cozy atmosphere, quick pleasant service. The brocolli soup was amazing and so were the breaded scampi. You definitely get what you pay for in this restaurant. I recommend phoning to book beforehand.

Absolutely smashing little place! As already stated could easily be over looked as just a pub but my god it's far from it. The atmosphere and decor was lovely. The staff where super friendly, helpful and extremely lovely with my children. And the food was gorgeous! In some ways it's a good job we live far other wise I think we would be in there every night😂 Thankyou for such a lovely meal x

We had a very good dînner in this lovely place. It was served by very nice people and the atmosphere was joyful. We totally recommend it !

One of the only restaurants open after 5 p.m. near Abernethy, which is a significant positive point. We had a pleasant time there: we found the food "good nothing more" (a piece of meat and a mixed salad), but the wine is good, the glasses are generous and the service is excellent. Please note, the menu no longer had the specially vegetarian page that you can see on the Internet, and there was no real alternative when we visited. Quite expensive also given the slightly out-of-the-way location (€61 for 2 with 1 glass of wine per person).

I was before on this restaurant, food is just ok high prices, noisy . I have voucher for my birthday I tried to call and book table I mean called few different times was mission impossible nobody answering the phone and never called back when I left message on answer machine. Walking to the restaurant trying to book on reception desk and is a surprise,they' telling me we can book you advance week after or two weeks after but not for now I mean the day or few days upfront. Is a waste time and money for the person who's bought the voucher for me . Never go back not recommend. Disappointed 😔

Warm cozy atmosphere with friendly staff.

The food here was gorgeous and plenty of it. The portions are large and Not expensive. Main course and sweet along with Soda/lime £22.60. We were through in the back bit of the lounge and it was a tad cold. But apart from that everything was good. Best to book as always very busy. Staff very nice.

Booked here for my son's 16th birthday. We were allowed in to decorate before the party started. Staff were extremely helpful and service was spot on. The food was delicious and excellent value. Cake was brought out when I gave the nod. All in all a great experience. Thank you to all the staff.

Had a lovely meal and drinks in the side bar. It's super cosy, relaxed atmosphere. We got served by Rikki, who was really welcoming and friendly. Definitely going there again.

Food spot on, and if you like your plate full this is the place for you, could not fault the rear or front of house staff for there customer satisfaction.

Excellent place to eat. We had a family gathering there, had a wee side area to ourselves which was just right for our group. Good menu, food is well cooked and very tasty. Good value too.

Fabulous food, there was 9 of us and not one complaint. Fast service, hot tasty food lots of refreshments both alcoholic and soft drinks , great staff very cheerful and absolutely fabulous toilet facilities, highly recommended, we don't live in the village but definitely worth a visit no matter if it's just a meal or a get together with friends/family you will not be disappointed 😀 😉

It is easily overlooked as a 'Pub', but this is a lovely cosy, clean romantic setting for lunch or evening meals. Lunch menu is a terrific idea of a smaller, very well priced meal, leaving room for an equally well priced starter or pudding. Staff are immaculate, polite, and very attending. All in all, it was a lovely experience. Top marks to those who have clearly put the work into this place.

Had my birthday meal here for 19 members of the family. Could not fault anything. Service was great and the food was amazing. Everyone agreed that they would definitely visit again. Many thanks to the staff of the village inn.

Would recommend if you are looking for a tasty, well cooked snf reasonably priced meal. All the usual favourites on the menu: gammon steak, fish and chips, steak pie, scampi, steak, curry etc. Busy, so worth booking. Wooden floors with minimal soft furnishings, hence a bit noisy.

Absolutely beautiful meal. Great having the choice to have a smaller portion, leave plenty of room for dessert, they're delicious

Found this place via word of mouth. Can't fault them at all. Been here six times since February and will be top of the list for any upcoming celebrations or just a wee treat for ourselves.

The Village Inn is local to me. We have taken to dining there when we want to treat ourselves. The food is always delicious, well prepared and the proportions are a challenge! The staff are friendly and accommodating. A visit to the Village Inn is an experience not to be missed!

Recently visited and can only say the service was awful !! Won't be visiting again when next in the area !!!

My first time there and had the sirloin steak and what a steak it was, it was the best steak that I have had. Cooked to perfection and so tender. Will definitely be making a return visit.

Went here for a meal last weekend. Great meal, such a plateful and a good pint too. My only small complaint was that the curry was slightly too spicy for myself, but that's personal taste. But great overall and a nice modern interior.

4 of us had an evening meal and few drinks here. From start to finish it was absolutely perfect. The service, environment, beer and of course the food were all spot on.

We arrived without having ordered a table and had to wait 45 minutes for one to be ready... but it was definitely worth the wait... loads of food that tasted fantastic... "Unfortunately" I was so full that there was no room dessert 😉

Visited The Village Inn while away for a few days. We hadn't booked in advance, but luckily they had a free table (the place was very busy) The menu was full of classics such as fish and chips and steak pie. Our server (think her name was Emily) was lovely and managed well with the multiple tables that she had to look after by herself. She checked during each course to make sure everything was good and offered more drinks. The food was great, classic meals made exceptionally well! Loved everything about the service and food. Just wish the place was closer to us! Couldn't fault anything.

The Village Inn is an excellent place to dine with family and friends. The food is delicious, the staff are efficient and very accommodating, especially when you have children in the party. I have dined here on quite a few occasions, and have never been disappointed. Big thank you to Leanne, Paul and their team for all the hard work that goes into making a visit to this venue a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Couldn't get a reply on the phone to book a table as they hadn't changed their page to say they were closed. Won't be trying again

Lovely local restaurant. So warm and welcoming. Great for a wee celebration. Food is classic, fish and chips, mac and cheese, burgers. I mean it's definitely not on the Michelin level.

Fabulous steak pie after a 12 mile walk over the hills in the mist and drizzle. So much tender meat and delicious gravy and I had the "small" portion.Nice, friendly staff and lovely ambience more than making up for an otherwise wet,miserable Thursday lunchtime.

Went in for a non alcohol cider each and found it homely and cosy.

Dropped in for lunch and had an excellent fish and chips from lunch menu. Great tasting and good value. My friend had the soup which was also very tasty. Recommended.

We stopped here on the way from Inverness to Edinburgh. The staff was very friendly and the food was really good. Especially in relation to the prices. There is a lunch menu from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and a special children's menu. We can only recommend it.
