McLean's in Perth & Kinross

On a long drive on a hot sunny day, fortunately we saw the sign for ice-cream and we stopped. We're very glad we did! A good range of flavours and two ( huge) scoops each at very reasonable charge, we were refreshed and on our way. Thank you! Pity we could try a pizza ( or two!) 👍

These pizzas are so amazing, we couldn’t recommend them enough! We got the haggis one and mushroom and they are both great, we recommend!

Amazing Arrived Monday in Muthill and was gutted the didn’t open until Thursday after hearing so much good things about the pizzas We ordered 6 pizzas and wedges It was thee best pizza I’ve ever tasted. So much flavour Way better than any chain restaurants Highly recommended The guy that served us who I’m assuming was the owner and his son were lovely people very friendly and polite

Delicious pizza that was roasting hot and tasted fresh and full of flavour. Phoned for collection and ready within 15 minutes! Definitely recommend and will be purchasing again soon!

Eaten here on many occasions and pizza is literally perfect every time and the service is lovely and fast

We have had takeaway pizzas several times during the last few months, and they are consistently excellent. Staff are friendly too. A great find for us during lockdown. 10/10

As a family of 4 we enjoyed a takeaway of 3 delicious pizzas and two portions of wedges last night. The pizzas were cooked perfectly and we're lucky enough to have almost a full pizza left over to nibble on today. Special mention to the cheeseburger pizza which sadly we don't have any leftover. This place is currently only open Fridays and Saturdays and they prefer you to phone your order in advance. We've previously sat in to eat here but that option is currently not possible. Plenty of options for pizzas, flavourful, amazing! Ready in about 10 minutes. I can only recommend it

Would just like to write a quick review to say that the quality of the pizzas in which I received were delicious, hot & fresh. Whole family enjoyed them 😊. Highly recommended & will be back 🍕 x

Finding proper espresso was a bit of a challenge. We were happy to visit this likely a family business that serves good coffee and tranquil atmosphere. Cards (I used MasterCard) accepted with no minimum payment!

Visited a few times the pizza is great - non greasy cooked to order and the dough is lovely and crispy filling but not heavy dough. I would actually say the best pizza I've had. Definitely worth a try.

Lovely little pizza place in Muthill. Wish it was open 7 days a week!! All homemade and good selection available. If only they did freshly made pastas too ;-)

We made a snap decision to pull in on the way back to Creiff and am glad we did. Very welcoming and polite staff. The pizzas were great , tasty, fresh and mike's better than any you'll get from a chain. Ditch the Dominos and support your local businesses.

Got some pizzas to takeaway and they were delicious. Fresh, authentic and delicious. They also created pizzas to order for us as we wanted to substitute some of the pre set options and this wasn't a problem at all. Very pleasantly surprised to find such a quality place in a little village. Definitely rivals all other outlets in the area and for me personally, it was better than some of the very popular nearby outlets!

Mi amigo y yo estuvimos aquí de pasada. La partida de vuelta a Perth, obligado a parar para permitir el tráfico y pasado paró justo fuera del cartel diciendo "Sí estamos abierto". Como íbamos camino a McD en Perth, se tomó como un 'Sign', y nos fuimos en aparcado.Había una pareja y una familia de cuatro, con dos niños pequeños que dejaron pocas opciones de donde sentarse, pero esto no fue un problema.Un hombre joven estaba sirviendo, él era educado, rápido y tomó nuestra orden fácilmente. Comí una pizza y mi amigo tenía un sandwich. Aunque no fue anunciada una pizza 7" está disponible. Tuve jamón y piña 7 "pizza y sandwich de mi amigo llegó en un pan precioso (así dijo) marrón con ensalada y cacahuetes. En general, delicioso.Le hubiera dado un 5, pero la clasificación para la máquina de café, que, cuando se utilizan, era tan fuerte mi amigo, con un audífono, pude oír desde el otro lado de la mesa.Recomendamos.

Much needed little cafe in Muthill. Tasty pizzas for good prices. Yet to try the home made ice-cream but looking forward to it!

Pequeño y encantador café haciendo una gran variedad de pizzas caseras (nuevas variedades para probar sobre una base regular), baguettes frescas sabrosa y cuñas con 4 diferentes salsas. Normalmente hay una selección de aproximadamente 6 tipos de helados y otros de vainilla que es probable que sean nuevos en oferta cada vez que visita! Me encanta ir allí. Las pizzas son generalmente demasiado grandes para mí para manejar, pero mi marido está feliz de compartir porque él puede tener la mitad más grande. Eso significa que siempre tienen espacio para un helado! Hay a menudo una oferta especial a la hora del almuerzo y también una especial temprano en la noche y he notado que algunos ciclistas parando para tomar refrescos y bocadillos o tarta. El servicio es siempre bueno y están dispuestos a complacer. El ambiente de cafetería ha mejorado en los últimos meses con asientos tapizados en esquina, pero necesita un poco más de carácter y un poco de oomph.

There aren't many places to eat of an afternoon in Muthill so this was a pleasant little surprise when we arrived after walking along the river from Crieff. Nice mushroom soup although it could probably have done with a little more flavouring. Good toastie too. Service friendly but slow. The highlight was the ice cream :-) the S'mores flavour a triumph in my view we'll definitely be back!

Who would have thought that haggis would be good on pizza? It took a bit of convincing by the gentleman there but I gave it a try. It was great! The pizza has a gooey stringy mozzarella and a nice tomato sauce, just the way I like it and the haggis added an interesting flavor that was new and tasty. Stop in and try some if you like either or both. Great fun and really nice people.

Had a lovely day in Edinburgh and were on our way back to our accommodation in Crieff and saw the lights on at McLean's of Muthill and thought we would give them a try. Wow! What a wonderful surprise. I would have thought the best pizza would be in Milan but it's in Muthill! It's so amazing to have pizza that is this good and tasty and just the beyond belief. Such an authentic product. Just the right balance between topping and scrumy light base. The kids on the way home asked if we could go again before the end of the holiday, we will and the next time we are going to try the ice cream which the very helpful waiter (Greig) told us is made on premises.

7" pizzas great size for lunch. Usually order for takeaway but sat in this time and will definitely sit in more often.

Very tasty pizza. Great choice of toppings with regular specials, take away service is very prompt approx 15 min wait. Sat in for lunch yesterday - friendly attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere, able to use voucher so very reasonably priced. Cannot fault - will definitely be back soon :)

Did not sit in, so cannot make fair comment re pizzas made on premises. Just bought ice creams to take away. The vanilla was very average. The chocolate was good. Felt expensive to us at £1.80 for one scoop of ice cream.

Small but cosy. Phone ahead to make sure a table is free. Just outside Crieff. Worth a visit. Predominantly pizzas.

If you're in the Crieff area and fancy a pizza, phone them up your order and it'll be ready in 10 or 15 mins to collect - just time to go and pick up a bottle of wine on the way.

OK I'm biased. I love pizza and great ice cream, so when I discovered a local restaurant specialising in both it was irresistible. I wasn't disappointed. Home made pizzas to die for. Ice cream in every variety. And all on a budget. A great treat

Good selection of fresh pizzas, all hand made from scratch. Great value. Very clean restaurant and family friendly. Ice creams were also fab! Nice little pizzeria, would recommend!

Had pizza tonight from Muthill. Good value and very very tasty. Ice cream looked lovely and different flavours. Cakes and drinks too. Could eat in or eat out.

Tried Mcleans pizza for the first time and was Mags impressed. By far the best pizza that can be bought locally. Will definitely be back. And if their ice cream is half as good- it will be dangerous for the waistline!!
