Staying at Alexander House for my daughters hen do so booked in advance for a large party. Everything was perfect, the waitresses were lovely and couldn’t do enough. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend if your in Auchterarder.

We are on holiday from Manchester. I had the steak. Absolutely spot on. Mrs had the prawns. Absolutely spot on. The onion rings where the best we've had. Not greasy. Service is A1 . We will be back

Nice family restaurant. Food is not bad. They seem to struggle a bit with “medium-rare” and “medium-done” steaks. You just get “well done”. But very nice people.

Went here for a late lunch on a Sunday and we had a lovely meal.

Had a lovely late lunch here. We just arrived from the states, and they were so good with the children, who were suffering from the time change. They brought out a small basket of toys when they noticed some tears, and they offered to cut the boys' steak into small pieces to make my job easier. The kids loved their fresh squeezed apple juice, and my chicken salad with sweet chili dressing was light and delicious. After eating, we walked up the road to the new park on recommendation from our waitress. Had the perfect afternoon!

The food was very good as was the service, the menu was a bit limited, otherwise very tasty.

Called in here last Thursday evening with my wife on last night of our tour around Scotland. Place had good atmosphere, friendly staff and food was good. Prices were on par with most places we had ate during our trip. Would definitely go back if ever in that neck of the woods again.

Came across this little on Sunday and what a lovely find. Beautifully presented food, my chicken burger and chips were the best I have tasted. Lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely return when in that area

Just came off the a9 into Auchterarder and found this wee gem,exellent food and service,will be back soon.

We ate here last year and couldn't wait to return, the best fish and chips we've ever eaten, and we've eaten a lot. Excellent, perfectly cooked steak and a brilliant burger, we ate here 3 nights running accompanied by a one year old who was treated to her own delicious menu, she scoffed it all down then ate haggis, black pudding and burger. The staff were delightful, we felt so at home eating there, the chef knows his ingredients and what to do with them. So we're counting the days until we can return!

It would have been great but charged me for a desert I did order never noticed till I got home 5.95 on my bill for nothing we didn't even order dessert disappointed as it's put me off going back

Abysmal…… booked a table for the whole family through the week, TWO HOURS before we are due to arrive we receive a call to inform us that ‘we have an hour and a half in the restaurant as we have a big booking later’…… wait a minute . We booked well in advance planned ahead and at the last minute THEY call us to inform and instruct that we must clear the table in an hour and a half. ‘This is normal’ I was informed sternly with no emotion apology or any form of manners attached, ‘we give everyone an hour and a half to two hours’ well that’s fine, we will take two hours please I asked, the response again was sorry but we have a large booking later, You have an hour and a half??? Clearly the booking that’s clashed or doubled over ours was deemed better for them? Not this time …. The Town now has some long overdue alternatives, we went elsewhere, we weren’t harassed, ate well and in our own time, more importantly had good honest service. If I had dropped in unannounced, hadn’t booked etc then I would understand….. we have eaten many restaurants…. If I wanted fast food I would have gone to McDonald’s…… likelihood that the service and approach alone might have been better. Very poor show……….

Wow - just had the best burger meal I have had in a cafe/bistro/restaurant. My mum, son and I all had burgers and they were phenomenal. I had Spicy one with extra jalapenos hand cut chips were great and plenty of them - also can with home made onion rings which were lovely, coleslaw and relish - well worth the money - only problem is I can't come more often as I live 80 miles away but will definitely be back the next 5imw I am up visiting my son - well worth the visit - you will NOT be disappointed

Just went in for a drink, therefore can't score food. Took a while to get served, bar surface was quite sticky, but a nice wee place otherwise.

Overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. I had chilli con carne...both the chilli and the rice had been over cooked, they were both hard around the edges. There was only a tiny amount of rice. The food tasted OK, it was just overpriced and there seemed to be more concern over appearance - piddling little baskets and the like, than there was over the food (hard rice etc). My son and I didn't even bother staying for desert (unheard of in our family!) because we didn't feel it would be worth the money when we could just get a nice ice cream from the Co op down the road!

Went to Hendersons for lunch, cozy surroundings, good menu, very tasty food and excellent prices, would highly recommend.

ABSOLUTELY fabulous. Superb value, great service, and EVERYBODY'S portions looked enormous. Everyone we spoke to were well satisfied, and we will most certainly return. PS. The fish dipper starters are wonderful. We'll not be eating any where else in Auchterarder in the future. .

Excellent meal with patient service. We had a fairly large group, and were having a lovely evening, but in spite of our boisterous behaviour, the staff were brilliant, and kept the beverages flowing while we changed our minds about what to eat. The food as ever was excellent.

Friendly service, great food. Burgers are delicious, but irresponsibily large - couldn't finish it without risking a black out.

Pretty taste food, a little pricey for what was served, but good none the less.

We enjoyed our meal very much the food was very hot and excellent quality. The waiting staff were very efficient. The only downside was a member of the kitchen staff might have been the Chef was at front of house and his outfit plus shoes were very dirty indeed and should not be allowed in the the Restaurant at all at any time It is a great pity that this persons outfit should spoil what was a good evening.

Place easy to find , Staff were friendly and helpful, good atmosphere and clean, Food was good also told you that one order would take 25min to prepare so we all chat and when food came we were not disappointed. Would recommend it .

Popped in for lunch and I have to say that it was tremendous. Staff were brilliant, the burger was exceptional, the portions huge and great value for money. I'd highly recommend.

Had a fantastic meal here on Saturday night. The jumbo prawns with garlic butter were to die for and the fudge pecan cheesecake was the best I've ever tasted. The young staff were excellent. We had a lovely time and will definitely come back.

Had a fantastic meal there with my wife, boy, mother and sister. The food was excellent, the surroundings were very nice/comfortable/cosy. But the best of all was the service and the friendly and attentive nature of the girl at front of house. She was spot on. Would highly recommend. The spicy burger is top drawer.

We were there for coffee. Their latte was great. Their Irish coffee wasn't so good but then I find most places nowadays are very poor at making Irish coffees!!!

Rarely leave reviews but believe credit should be given where credit is due. We had a meal here last night and it was hands down the best fillet of steak I have ever had, big, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Our whole meal was fantastic, as well as our cocktails. On top of that the presentation was amazing, really impressive. A big thank you to Hendersons, and your lovely staff who were very attentive and welcoming. We have a new favourite restaurant in you and look forward to our next visit. xx

Shared the smoked fish starter followed by the special - loin of venison - which was superb. Finished with creme brulé. All accompanied with an excellent Malbec. An outstanding meal

We came here last night and had an amazing meal. The food was excellent, but it was the staff that made the experience so much more enjoyable. They were so welcoming, attentive and could not have done more to accommodate our two toddlers. So glad we visited here, it was the perfect end to our trip. We will definitely be back.

Popped into Henderson's bistro on Monday night with out booking and they managed to get a table for us. The food was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. 2 of our party had the chilli con carne one had the chicken cordon bleu and I had the cheese burger which were all very good. The restaurant for a Monday night was quite busy which is a good sign and I think if you fancy some good food and a restaurant with a nice atmosphere you can't go wrong with this place.
