We were lucky to visit during a school holiday as it was quiet enough to not need a reservation. Staff were lovely, food was great, good home made tasting food. Owner came to speak to us as she recognised our accent and discovered she was from the same city as us. Would recommend!! We had the steak pie and mac and cheese.

There with the family for a shared birthday meal. The folks who look after you are really good, friendly, got a bit of chat and are good at their job. Food was good and reasonably priced for the quality that you get. The restaurant has recently been decorated and is really well done, tasteful and a little bit different from what you might expect. Well worth a try.

I stopped here for lunch when travelling from the north down to the Lake District. The pub didn't look great from the outside, but don't be misled. I found it welcoming and comfortable with very good food and drink served promptly and efficiently. Recommended.

Read the reviews and thought it was worth a visit. It was worth it from the warm welcome for us, the fuss they made of our dog and a lovely beer garden. The food was really tasty and served hot, so do try the roast dinners. This is a great spot, local and friendly is a great combination of things to be. Every success to them and we will return before our holiday ends.

A traditional but fancy old smiddy looked after and upgraded sympathetically. The meal we eat this evening was absolutely delicious 😋 maybe through time get skillet plates to keep steaks hot. We had the simon howie steaks they were beautifully cut for us and cooked to perfection 👌. The puddings are to die for I had the apple crumble and have never tasted a better apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce 😋. For 3 adults with a main each and two puddings. Plus 2 x white wines a whisky and a coke it was just over £85. Oh and the girls were fussing over buster with doggy treats. Only disappointment was finding this on our last day. The toilets are on ground level so accessible for disability doors a bit small but there's away in from the back

We were nearby at a local auto shop and stopped in for lunch. Cannot fault the food and very happy to see vegan/vegetarian options. We enjoyed a nice sunny afternoon in the beer garden and had a chance to speak to one of the owners, they have done a lot to infuse life back into the pub. Would be happy to come back for a meal or a stay!

Exceptionally family B&B - We had a wonderful week as guests of James and Leesa! If you want a beautiful, spacious B&B with warm, open and friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast - this is it! :) Accommodation/feeling: Depending on your personal taste, you can have a “quick and easy” stay here: say hello, get a room, stay 1-2 nights, have breakfast and leave again. OR (clear recommendation!): You can use the breakfast/lounge room in the house with a fantastic view and winter garden panoramic windows as well as the small garden. You can have a nice chat - no matter how good or bad your English is: James and Leesa are happy to chat with you if you want. The breakfast is very extensive with lots of choice and is unusually great by British standards. There is very good, freshly ground filter coffee, many different types of tea and also hot chocolate. In addition to the classic warm selection (Scottish, eggs, porridge), there is a variety of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cornflakes, spreads from jam to peanut butter and the warm food is pleasantly less greasy than usual 👍🏻😊 All of this is served in the beautiful, sunny breakfast room with a view of the Tay and with a warm good morning and - if you like - a bit of chat. We were happy to have James give us the “tip of the day” in the morning and every single one was great! :) Leesa is the sweet soul of the house. When French guests were in the house, she added fresh croissants to the breakfast in the morning. Another day she gave away a homemade version of toffee. Overall, the two of them were by far the warmest and most familiar hosts we ever had on two trips to Scotland ☺️☀️ Room: Our room (Blue Room) was quiet, very spacious, well equipped, very clean, absolutely homely and typical of the country. What I really liked was the neatly packed mattresses - a clear plus point for allergy sufferers! But here's the only negative point: the beds are also typical of the country - with a lot of spring and (for German backs) a little harder (but still far from back pain!). I folded and placed the extra wool blanket as a cushion, but softer mattresses or the option of getting a topper would be a good improvement. :) Location: The B&B is absolutely ideal! You are right on the street in all directions without it being noisy. You can go on various hikes or cycle directly from your front door. Both the Cairngorms and the local Highlands are right there. There are many castles nearby, endless hiking trails with and without waterfalls. With Pitlochry there are many bars and restaurants nearby - here too: ask James! ;) There is also a larger COOP and bus routes to all major cities. Clear recommendation - definitely stay longer than 1-2 nights and drive a little further to your excursions! ☺️👍🏻

Drove out today ordered soup and bread with butter soup now £4.20 but if I wanted bread with my soup I was to be charged an extra £1.55 for the privilege, soup was okay however white bread arrived I'd ordered brown but close , already slathered in cheap margarine . Sent back and money returned. everytime we go here prices go up service seems to go down whatever happened to the little portions of butter you used to serve with soup and bread .not exactly haute cuisine or a salubrious place to dine however food has up until recently always vern reasonably priced and good to eat .

Just returned from having the best meal. Food was superb and portion sizes were spot on. From the ambient atmosphere to the wonderful service staff the Coorie Inn was exceptional. Would highly recommend booking a table. Will most definitely return and next time would like to stay in the hotel as it was a delightful experience.
