The best restaurants in Dunfermline South Fife Central Scotland

My son really likes Papa Johns. There is a really good selection of pizzas, prices are on par with any other chain pizza establishment. The one thing that sets them apart in my book, is the Italian sausage topping, which I have really missed since moving to the UK. So in that sense, I would rather order from them than anywhere else. It’s also now the closest pizza place to us. So the pizza here is never going to be world class, but I certainly enjoy their pizza. My favourite combo is sausage, mushroom and onion.

Worst fish n chips ever. Hardly any fish in overdone batter and chips were lukewarm at best and mostly scraps, so small you couldnt call them chips. Witnessed a counter box fall on floor and when handed back they actually put it on top of the pile it fell from to serve again. Wait times for this utter rubbish were horrendous too. Won’t be back and would advise going anywhere else but here, if for nothing else then certainly the hygiene. Could not recommend anything other than staying away.

Order was also wrong and also cold got the wrong jucie and also the delivery driver must have droppes the 2 pizzas i order as they lookes terrible the delivery needs to be kept in a heat peoof bag .my food was cold as it got deliveres in no bag just

Not treated our family to a takeaway from here for months. We were not disappointed! Lovely food, lovely staff and good portions at a reasonable price. I had Madras curry with mushroom rice. Just lovely. Hot and very flavourful. Not at all harsh as some Madras offerings can be in other places. I need to go more often!

Really enjoyed my meal would go here again.

The service at the Halbeath Greggs is awful, no focus on serving customers. Continually leave only 1 person serving whilst the shop is queued to the door.

Food was ok. Open late in the evening, it served a purpose

Stopped here for a single black pudding and a fish supper. The sauce they put on the fish was foul and the black pudding was inedible. I had one bite and threw it in the bin! Beware!

Asked for small chips and curry sauce. Was not asked if they were to be separated. Didn’t get asked if I wanted salt and vinegar. Or the sauce on the side . They did what they wanted and was disgusting. Have kept my order and will demand a refund. Do not go here . Uhhh
