First time using this chippy , will definitely be the last, soggy chips and rotten batter on fish

Really disapointed. Over £8 for a chicken tikka kebab and it was more like a small childs portion..the pitta bread was in one piece, I broke it up looking for the rest of my food....dont think I will go back for a long time if I even do. I must say the chicken was tasty but I should have just went to istanbull and would have got a decent portion.

Doner Kebab with salad and Chill Sauce & Chips - The chilli sauce was rank and tasted like tomato soup with some chilli powder. Chips were rotten, picked out the ones I could eat. The rest were just hard and chewy like they had been cooked days ago. Wont be back

tried ordering a couple of times from here on mealzo after work as i usually work pretty late, they would confirm the order take the money and let the phone ring out when i try to see where my order was. and judging by the trend of everyone complaining i will not bother with them again.

Placed an order at 10-40 last night and paid for it still waiting on it phoned constantly after waiting an hour for it but got no answer not amused

Their website states that they open at 2pm on Fridays so we arrived at 2.15pm only to be told it would be another 30 to 45 minutes before they would be open. No reason given. Wasted car journey. Won't be going back there again.

Just had a large fish supper, 3 people in when I arrived, 2 ordered after me. There was around 7 or 8 fish sitting there already. The woman after me got served first which was strange. So after 5-10 mins. I got served, got home. And the fish was awful, clearly had been sitting a while. Things like sausage, king ribs don’t degrade too fast. Fish does, so paid £8.90 for fish I could eat 30% at most. Chips nice thought. So I definitely would have to order fresh cooked fish if I ever visit again. Bad experience

My go to chippy, seriously considering moving now. My fish was full of tiny small bones and my chips were stale, soaked in oil and Luke warm obviously reheated.

Got fish supper. Cold uneatable bin got the lot.2.d time. Never getting a penny from me again.

Worst chips. They were all bits and very pale. Had to wait a while for our food. Very busy with telephone orders even the fish was like plastic

Absolutely awful, they sent me off Mac and cheese which smelled disgusting and my girlfriend has been bed ridden for two days with an illness after eating the prawns, my guess is there kitchen is disgusting.

Ive had a few things from here before and no complaints but tonight was another level for the food 👎and not in a good way which has really took me by surprise Chips n gravy just a solid mass of gravy sitting on the middle of the chips White pudding wow while inside was tasty enough most of it was stuck to the leather like batter around it ... couldnt eat the batter at all The single fritter i got was ok 👍 Cant see me ordering again .... Absolutely shocking waited 1hr 30 mins on delivery after being told it ready at 5.35 did not arrive to 6.20. Food stone cold the only fit place for it was the bin. Would recommend never ordering from here as I certainly won't.

Food first class have been shopping there from years. Sadly I will never go back there again due to the unprofessional and aggressive behavior of one of the delivery drivers who almost crushed my car and shouted at me in front of my kid. Very sad; you should remember that your driver is your business id. Very concerned about who you hire, as I wouldn't want this driver to deliver anything to my house. Red Honda civic

Placed order at 20:45. Rang at 22:00 to see where order was. Was told rudely they were busy. Pointed out to the rude woman that wasn't my problem and they shouldn't take orders they could not fulfill. Food arrived 22:25 and she was polite and said sorry for the delay. When I asked her to wait for a second so I could check the food she got rude and aggressive. Checked food and it was freezing cold. Handed it to her to take back, but restaurant closes at 22:00 so presume that is their angle that you can't ring to complain and will suffer it but not this time. Claimed refund from just eat and screw their really bad service and greed. Would stay away whether collection or delivery if that's the way they behave!!

Today, very disappointed I have to leave only 1 star because, it was my first order yesterday by Uber eats, we ordered a pizza at half past 7pm around or quarter to 20, but the pizza arrived at 21:10. It comes with haggies large. I have paid more than 20 pounds. 24£ I think, but the food was cooked and waiting for the driver for long time. The pizza and the huggies was dried. I had to put the pizza in my own overn but i couldn't do anything for it. The huggies and chips wasn't possible to eat that. Money wasted... not happy at all. Not recommend. Workers must to redo my dinner before go. Dinner after 20 minutes waiting for to be deliver was not the best performance by the workers on the restaurant. Very bad.. workers don't care about they employ, company or be professionals...

Ordered via Dunfermline Eats, which said it would arrive before 9:15pm. Received a notification to let me know that food was ready for delivery at 8:56pm... food arrived at 9:45pm. I had phoned the restaurant to cancel, just as the order arrived. I was told that I couldn't cancel or have the food replaced as they were just closing and couldn't send out fresh food, even though they admitted that the order had been sent out "about 30 minutes ago". I dont consider that fresh, and what arrived was mostly cold, limp and slimey. Won't be ordering from here again.

First time from Marini’s and unfortunately the last. Had a single haggis and battered fish supper. Portion size was adequate, although I prefer one large to 2 small haggis and fish, both were over cooked and super dry. The chips contained too many small broken and crispy. Attention to detail when a warning flag as I ordered online including what I wanted on the food, but was asked on collection what I wanted again, perhaps this is the reason the food did not feel freshly cooked.

Order took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Had been emailed saying that food was ready to be delivered 20 mins after order placed. Phoned up after over an hour to be told that the food hadn’t even left. Phoned a second time to ask where order currently is. Takeaway is a 8 min drive and took another 25 mins from telling us that the driver was had left. Very poor service

Order took forever to come. They updated us to say food was ready to be delivered and an hour later I called up to be told the driver hasn’t even left with the food. The food then didn’t get delivered for another half an hour after this call. Food was cold.

Great takeaway, meals ready to wrap up on arrival. Approximately 20 minutes from placing the order until being ready to collect. Great food and great service.

So I tried again tonight, a Saturday night at 6:30,absolutely no standards if they think they can still sell yesterday's rolls,I have tesco rolls in the cupboard from Thursday and would rather have eaten them. We ordered from here tonight after softplay to get some "fast" food and I completely wish we hadn't. Estimated delivery was 7.25-7.45 so I thought fine. Came to 7.51 and as some was for Jack I thought wasn't having my bairn hungry, so I phoned. "The other guy took it and this guy's just came back" oh great super helpful. I had to ask...when will it arrive and he said should be there just now. Ten minutes later.... I phone again. One guy can't be professional enough to deal with me so I'm passed to a LOVELY GIRL. She was actually nice. But gave the excuses of Uber eats having unrealistic estimated arrival times. That ain't my fight. My fight is with your takeaway. You've got a problem with Uber eats you fix that not me. Anyway she said she'd get her manager to call me. And he did. Oh my dear Christ he shouldn't be running a business. " What he's not there, you've not got your order" as if I'm lying. I told him he was welcome to come in the house and double check. Then stated he was standing right next to the driver and it was delivered. Then admitted to the wrong address. Kids its always best to employ delivery drivers who know numbers. Tip for future. Anyway I said I wanted it redelivered and a full refund. He agreed and said " that's what you were after all along" I didn't swear about that till I ended the call. That was unprofessional. Anyway 45 minutes that ....the food arrived. The lassie was lovely - yes he sent his employee to deal with me🤷‍♀️ Turns out the driver was on route to high valley field having not checked a simple bloody postcode. He then delivered it to 63 of our street instead of 42.... To the lovely lassie... get another job hen. He's not worth your time. To the manager, since things are opening back up - go on a customer service course please. You'd benefit greatly.

Omg. Placed an order this evening.around 5.40 pm didn't arrive.so phoned the shop .said order was away.waited another 30 minutes.once again.no order.phoned again.seemly delivery driver gave our out to another address ( someone else enjoying our meal and not paid for it.,) When it did arrive .after nearly two hours..the fish was horrible and soggy.and not cooked very Well and not very hot.omg.chicken pakora.burnt to a frazzle.what an absolutely joke.waste of money.not ordering there again.no sorry or complementary frebbie.

Well I normally order here on a Friday but last twice food has been half hour late and cold didn't say anything first time as I thought maybe a issue it's a shame as food is really nice but cold is not good

Ordered 2 fish suppers, chicken wings and scampi supper. The fish suppers were amazing , but the scampi supper was so badly burnt it was inedible the same goes for the chicken wings. Scampi and wings were not just a little overdone , it was actually black , whoever packed it up must have seen that and still chose to send it out. It's a right shame because the fish suppers which I ended up eating half of my other half's as couldn't eat the scampi were really good and the portions were very generous.

Poor service on a few occasions now. Forgot to include items in my order or replaced an item instead of the requested one without asking. Declined orders because they couldn't cope with Kebabs or Large orders? Then why do you have it on your menu? This all occurred with collections. Dread to think what a delivery was like. Won't be using again.

Ordered at 18.30. Its now 20.35 and won't be delivered until 20.50. Didn't receive an update until I had to call myself. Totally rubbish service. If you are getting delivery, don't bother....

I was not happy with the service and the staff was very rude to me when I called to ask where our food was and I got passed over to a very rude member of staff who hung the phone up on me! There for this customer serves is not up to standard and will definitely not be using them again!

Seems to have improved massively with the new staff. Pizza is great once more but I would avoid the curry sauce as it still remains quite watery. Bring back the old recipe!

I've tried there food a couple of times. I think they are great value for money, really good quality. I have never had any problems and the service has always been fast. Although we always go into the shop to order. I like having this as the local chippy.
