ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Fish was way over cooked, Chicken was dry as sand and the smallest portion of the oldest toughest chips I have even had. The only reason I didn't send it back was my girlfriend. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE... If I had know it was ramzan I would never have gone.. their food is disgusting

Ordered fish and chips, asked for salt and vinegar on the chips..there was none ..chips were old abd leathery and you could barely see the fish for the batter. Won't be ordering again. Disappointing.

Absolutely brilliant after being taking over by the Ramzan family, would highly recommend anybody to try out, spotless inside, great customer service and food spot on!

Big Smash Special has to be one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Oozing with flavour, so fresh and it was delicious I will definitely be getting this again

We have never had bad food from here. Sometimes the fish is very big or just normal, but taste is good. They do deliver, but we don't live far away so just as easy to get it.

We've ordered food from here lots of times and always liked it, but our last meal was really bad. The chips were cold, and tasted like they were warmed up again + not freshly cooked. The scampi didn't have much coating and tasted really cheap/processed.. We were regulars, but now we're not sure if we'll come back. Hope things get better!

The worst chippy I have ever had

Ordered a pizza supper,kids pizza meal, chicken nuggets and fritter roll but got a single pizza instead of supper a crumbling roll with a fritter that was as thin as a sheet of paper no salt or vinegar on the food and to top it off was all cold and they try tell me I made the wrong order no I didn’t pal what happened to customer is always ryt and they charged me for a supper so they are in the wrong now I have ate the cold food with my kids and waiting on chips to come which gona be no point now take aways around fife now days are poor and poor service 20 quid for that where’s I could of spent that 20 on feeding me and my kids for 3 days now I’m 20 quid down with a nasty taste in my mouth coz the food was poor don’t go near this place especially if they can’t get an order right then give u very bad coz u ain’t happy with there service shocking stay away people don’t waste your money

Took 2 hours from order time for food to arrive. No surprise it was cold when it arrived, fit for the bin.

Was good apart from most of the chips had horrible black bits on them

The food was 2hrs 30mins late. Arrived warm/cold. Tried to call for well over 30mins to cancel my order but the line was constantly busy.

Mostly battered, no fish. Looked like it had been heated up from yesterday.

Took 2 hours to arrive. Food was cold. After an hour and 15 minutes I phoned to ask if it would be getting delivered soon as I have a toddler to put to bed and they said “well we’re busy”

I have been ordering from The Little Friar for many years. The food quality is always very good, tasty and hot. Super fast delivery as well.

Everything was very tasty and the chicken especially seemed really fresh! Only issue was sauce caused fritters to stick to paper and ripped off the batter on a few of them, but that can’t really be helped. Definitely the best local chippy

Kids meals were very good quality and value for money

Classic chippy kind staff convenient location and didn't have to wait too long. Can also pay with card.

Have been very unwell since eating the Icelandic haddock.

The chips were of very bad quality. Normally, the chips from little frier are amazing and you can't fault them but the past 2 times now they have been pretty bad. The sausage was quite nice though.

We were passing through Saint Andrew in Markinch and stopped for a take away and I must say that the fish & chips were very good, generous portions and cooked well. Very kind staff

Got a fish supper from here recently and was very dissapointed with the fish. It was dried out and very crispy as if it had been in the holding oven for too long. The chips were lovely and fresh. Have previously visited and food has always been nice but very disappointed with quality of fish on this visit.

I visited this establishment yesterday and ordered the fish and chips. I must say, it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the batter was just the right amount of crispy. The accompanying chips were also delicious and had just the right amount of seasoning. I was impressed by the overall quality of the food and the attention to detail that was put into making it. The service was also excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the overall ambiance was inviting and comfortable. I will definitely be returning in the future. Waited nearly two hours for our order

Always a lot of servers which is good. Most. Items on menu are good. Fish is a hit or a miss. I normally order on line then collect. Works well.

Fish was really greasy and mainly battery with very little fish in it. Tasted like it was reheated. The Icelandic fish was as large as my plate yet all batter and full of grease, very little fish. The chips were awful. The food was not hot either the bottle of coke we got was flat!

Staff were lovely as always order was ready for me when I got there and food was brilliant. Thank you !

Order here all the time good is usually excellent and sometimes a wee bit late but ordered last might about 6.40pm food came just after 8.30pm that's too long to be waiting for a delivery. And the food was almost cold. so sadly this has put me off now. So won't be ordering again sadfully.

Ordered the pan fried pizza. It was if there was no topping on it tasted like fried dough. Chips were decent enough but the pizza needs more toppings.

Food was delivered bang on time. Didn’t need heating up. The potato fritters were so tasty and the batter lovely and crispy. Will order again.

Same old story no cheese in cheese in burger as its over cooked the batter has fallen off the chips under the fish were in a puddle of grease.. pointless complaining to be told it was fine when it left the shop or to be greeted this grunts and moans.

Chips were horrible, ordered a chicken BURGER and chips, gets delivered without a bun? Chicken was soggy and overall horrible, the curry sauce was also clumpy and watery, horrible chippy.

Friendly chip shop with usual chippy food. No decent options for vegetarians but good for those want traditional chip shop food.

I love this place my only fault with tonight’s order was the fritters weren’t that crispy which meant they were quite greasy and not my favourite tonight, also good temp not the hottest

Food was OK at best. fritters portion - the time it took for delivery had basically fused together and turned mushy. Cheese in burger seemed cheese'less. Finally all very greasy and yet fish was dry..... Yes its a chippy but u get good chippies and bad chippies, LF is mediocre @ best. Delivery driver was very friendly and nice. Used and will use LF again as u know tht u will get mediocre food. fills a hole and saves the dishes. 5/10.

Staff dont listen to word you say . Wrong order again after waiting mins on a smoke sausage supper . How hard is it to get an order right . Get served in a restaurant quicker .

I ordered to collect and was given a collection time. I arrived at designated collection time to find my order was not ready and in fact was not even cooked yet. I asked young member of staff if my order had been given to a walk in customer and she confirmed that it looked that way. I then had to wait 10/15 minutes on it being prepared. I’m sorry but I ordered well in advance and drove 20 minutes to collect it. Very disappointed with service today.

Food was good - won’t be ordering again though. 1 hour 50 minute wait was far too long

We waited an hour and a half for delivery and then part of our order was missing. Really need to get organised with deliveries or don’t do them!
