Curry Pot in Fife

Not treated our family to a takeaway from here for months. We were not disappointed! Lovely food, lovely staff and good portions at a reasonable price. I had Madras curry with mushroom rice. Just lovely. Hot and very flavourful. Not at all harsh as some Madras offerings can be in other places. I need to go more often!

We placed an order online and picked up the food. There was a small wait for everything to be ready, but overall it was good. The food was tasty and there was a decent amount of it, although it was a bit pricier compared to other Indian takeout places nearby.

I ordered from Currypot this past Monday. I absolutely adore their chilly garlic chicken—it's always delicious. The food arrived on time for delivery.

I had a delicious takeaway from Curry Pot with Chicken Chansi and Chicken Achari. I absolutely loved it! I'll definitely be ordering again.

This Indian takeaway always surpasses my expectations with its delicious dishes, like the mouthwatering Masala Dosa and flavorful Chicken Curry that keep me hooked.

I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and my partner got Madras. We were told 1 hour, but it came in 20 mins. Really quick! Highly recommend it.

One of the best takeaways in town. Would definitely recommend the Chicken Patia with Plain nan. Very friendly staff and a live kitchen to see your food being made in front of you! Already can't wait to try more food from the place next time!

Great food, always enjoy a meal from the Curry Pot. It's expensive but I feel like it's a treat so I justify it 🤣. I had a starter, chicken tikka masala and boiled rice for £19. They give big portions and the food is always the same good quality every time!

I had a Ceylon Chicken on Friday evening. I guess the accompanying pilau rice was ok. The curry itself was dry, bland & essentially without flavour. Although it’s academic, for £10:35 for a takeaway, the portion was far from generous.As it happens after a taste or two , it all went in the bin. I had previously been a regular customer here for many years.In fact under the original management they were awarded many industry accolades. However, sadly in my opinion, this food wouldn’t win many prizes.

I have had quite a few meals from the Curry Pot in the past but not for quite a while. They were always excellent. We have a delivery tonight, it was awful. Chicken tikka masala was bland and little flavour. Chicken was hard Hyderabad Bhuna ghost was very mild but should have been hot lamb was hard. Nan breads were hard Chapatiti was cold and hard Raiti had no favour and only 4 quarter pieces of cucumber! It is probably the worst curry meal I have had. Rob

Used this takeaway as our usual one was closed for some reason. I ordered onion bhaji and a chicken tikka massala. 1/ Bhajis: burnt to a crisp and inedible. 2/ Chicken tikka massala: plain chicken and nothing like a massala sauce. This was hot and tasted like a vindaloo sauce. Last time I’m afraid.

Dropped in for a quick supper by chance and ordered lamb madras curry with mushroom rice. Absolutely delicious. Generous portion of melt in the mouth lamb in a hot spicy and flavoursome sauce. Great to have heat and flavour not the old burn the tongue stuff. Well cooked tasty rice. Lovely staff and a well decorated clean reception area. I would definitely recommend and will be back to try other dishes.

We ordered online and collected the food. Slight delay in everything being ready but otherwise was good. It was good quality and quantity though slightly more expensive than some of the other local Indian takeaways.

Orders food to be extra spicy and got nothing. Told they wouldn’t refund and happy for me to give a negative review. Obviously have no idea of customer satisfaction or customer care. Wouldn’t go back to them nor would I recommend. Couldn’t speak to the manager and no one else in charge. Shocking and waste of money!! AVOID!!

Ordered a delivery, arrived almost 1 hour late. Food was absolutely freezing, cannot comment if it was good as went straight in the bin. When I contacted the restaurant they were unable to offer me a refund. Money wasted, will not make the same mistake again.

Food was good however I was given a plain ban instead of peshwari.

It's usually excellent food; however, the chicken in my curry was awful, really fatty, with dark brown bits on it. I had to bin most of it, unfortunately. Sure, this is just a one off thou as previously no issues

Overpriced for the quality and quantity you get. Soggy Nan and tiny portions of dip. Leaving a review this time as it hasn't improved from the first time we ordered.

The only person in the shop and they still got my meal wrong, they forgot to add all my orders to the bag and when I got home found out there was food missing. Phoned up and they had the cheek to ask could I come and collect it. Won't be back

Collected an order for elderly relatives outwith the delivery area. I've since been told one of their items was wrong (korma instead of tikka masala) and their pathia was entirely different (really spicy) to what they've had from this restaurant before. They said the food was good, just not as ordered/expected.

Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Rogan Josh were excellent. I got chips, they were OK, but very cool by the time I got them. Delivery took 90 minutes, but they a did arrive on time. Excellent food, highly recommended

Lamb tikka biryani was below average unfortunately

I ordered our food early as we have a newborn. It took 2.5 hours to arrive, right in time for putting her to bed so we could not eat until 9pm when we ordered the food at 5.45. The curry was bland and just tested like chicken and tomatos. The chicken was also over cooked. My partner makes a better curry. Normally curry pot are OK but I won't be ordering from them again.

Nearly 2 hours late. Food quality... meh.

Ordered at 1800. Delivery was quoted at 45-60 minutes, restaurant added 20 to 40 minutes on to the time. I expected the food no later than 1940. Recived a text at 1733 to say food had left.Called twice and to see where it was. It turned up at 2025. Order was wrong, fish pakora when vegetable panoramic was what was ordered. Food mediocre, service beyond bad. Never ordering here again !!!!

Lamb biryani was nicely cooked, nice flavour but not enough lamb! Only about 6/7 little pieces of lamb in the whole tub. I'll order it again but hopefully I get luckier with the lamb to rice ratio next time. Otherwise good quick service.

As always lovely food, piping hot and tasty . Very friendly delivery driver and it arrived earlier than we expected for a Friday night .

Usually absolutely love the curry pot however this time our meal almost seemed different from usual. The chicken saag was still delicious however i'm not sure if they have changed their onion bhaji or not, but we ordered 2 portions as they are normally brilliant but this time they were in edible.

Waited ten minutes to be served and then to be shouted at, all while my food standing going cold! Got home to cold food, chips were rock solid and some of chicken had gone off, both my partner and I tasted it ( tasted very fishy) to be then put off our food and it went in the bin! Won’t be back!!

Have used the Curry Pot many times. Love the food and the delivery service is fabulous. Xx

The food that was delivered was of poor quality the Korma sauce was like water not thick and creamy as advertised on menu the starters were greasy and was not edible very disappointed with the quality and I won't order anymore food from here again.

food was 35 minutes late ,naan bread was cold also had no coriander ,chips were cold ,while having the meal there was a bone in the chicken ,not the meal that i have experienced on previous occasions , this was poor service .

Food was fine, bit of a step down in quality compared to previous visits. Curry sauce very watery. Hygiene issue however as I seen older gentleman open a tub of white rice and sprinkle on top of my biryani rice without seeing any gloves on or evidence of hand washing before. Please do not let this happen again as it is a health hazard. Thanks

Curry was decent but the 3 naan breads were very dry and not very pleasant to eat.

I wasn't what you'd call blown away by the quality of the food. There was nothing inherently bad about it, just wasn't to our taste. One negative point I'd have to highlight would be the price Vs the quantity. Wouldn't have been a problem providing the food was on par with the pricing. The delivery driver was very pleasant and the order arrived exactly when specified.

Food was lovely but we had to microwave it to heat it up due to late delivery.

Sub standard, chicken tikka masala was plain chicken in a runny sauce and the chicken bhuna had very little chicken in it.

Fantastic meal & service. A special treat.
