New Indian Express in Fife

My own fault really we had a meal from here before ..supposed to learn from you're mistakes. Large Chicken tikka kebab salad and sauce £10 . Really poor portion of chicken 4, 5 bits just not worthy of the price ! Competition does it alot better .not using or recommending it. Soz 1/5

We get a super grill box normally every weekend. Never disappoints! Food always piping hot with prompt delivery. Most Importantly it tastes fantastic and huge amount in the box. 10/10

Got takeaway from this establishment and my husbands verdict was “Worst Indian food ever”. He had chicken madras, he said chicken was like cardboard, the sauce was vile. I tried the vegetable pakora, it was like fried wallpaper paste. I’ve seen more vegetables on my butchers pencil. God alone knows what it was made from but not vegetables. Lesson learned.

Used to love ordering from here, sincerely disappointed. Ordered chips, 2 pizzas and mixed pakora and everything was stone cold to the point it wasn’t even edible without reheating.

Large mixed kebab 2 bits chicken 2 bits lamb topped up with Donna meat wee bit salad forgot my sauce not worth £8.50 hoggie wrap decent size except hardly any cheese but both meals late and both meals freezing cold what happened to the best Indian takeaway in the town

Fantastic take away tonight. Had the tandoori mix and was unbelievable flavor everything cooked to perfection.

The food was quickly prepared, very fresh and hot. Lovely fluffy rice, flavoursome curry, fresh nan and crunchy poppadoms. I was impressed.

Ordered £30 worth of food. Disappointed to have only half delivered and not what we had ordered. The Peshwari naan was frightening, the pictures say it all. I cannot believe this was delivered to my door. Was it frozen? Not cooked right? Is the red stuff supposed to be the coconut? Absolutely rotten!

Just received order and well what can I say just wow far better that pommys deffo the better choice going with family business than staying in a dead end job top marks

Ordered a takeaway for delivery for a birthday treat. Waited 1hr 50 mins for it to arrive. I called on two separate occasions during this time to be told it was on its way. When food eventually arrived, complained to driver who had a "nothing to do with me" attitude. Starter was missing.( I didn't call about this as I was honestly sick with the service so £5.00 out of pocket) Coriander was added to a sauce despite requesting no coriander. food was okay but meal was spoilt due to long wait. My daughters hoggi wrap was cold and chips were cold and soft. my lamb curry was ok but had a couple of tough pieces of lamb. The whole experience put a damper on hour evening. Will not be ordering food from there again.

Took my order. Took my money. Don't deliver to my area. No money, no food. Thanks. I'll be getting my bank to get my money back that you stole

Food is good but it’s always cold when it arrives, that’s the 3rd time and certainly will be the last

Great takeaway, A friend and I went in for a birthday dinner and they were really nice. Got a pizza, Hoggie, Burger and some pakora between us and all the food was above what we expected. The takeaway smelled fantastic when we went in and everything was really well priced. The only downside was that they didn't accept card payments, but that's the ONLY downside.

The new management continue the exceptionally high standards of their ptedecessors

I ordered a veg bhuna rice and Nan. The staff are friendly the service was very quick. The curry tasted really good with fresh ingredients. I got a nice smile from the lady who took my money when she handled over the curry. Would recommend! 😃😘

Already left you guys a nice review last year but few problems recently. Tonight wasn’t great. 90 plus minutes delivery but nearly 30 minutes when you said it would be 5/10!! Your driver unfortunately said he had just left the shop!! Now one of you is lying and I’m going to say it was the driver as the food wasn’t hot. Good food but not the best when it’s cold. After waiting so long not interested in calling back for a replacement but maybe in future food can arrive hotter without any bs on the phone or from your driver especially!! Poor service tonight which is sad as you guys used to be a lot better.

35 minute wait for 2 "large" donner kebabs ordered in the shop, food prep worker kept stopping to answer phone (not very hygienic) despite people waiting. Staffing etc is no excuse, this was obviously the shop staff more concerned about missing a new order than servicing waiting customers. After the wait, small, over spiced kebabs. This takeaway has definitely went downhill.

Food standard steady over the years.Delivery time has been late for the last couple of months ,so will use different takeaway in future.

This takeaway started as 5* not sure what happened but over the years the standard of food has gone from bad to inedible. Pakora burnt, Nan bread burnt and too hard to eat. Chicken in both curries over cooked and dry. Both meals went in the bin. We have been given up with this takeaway now and would not recommend to anyone.

We had a takeaway meal from here yesterday. From ordering the meal to pick up it was less than 10 minutes. Very quick, we are more used to 30 mins or more from our local one. The meals were good and the portions large. Would eat here again if in the area.

Ordered meal followed app - called today they forgot the rice despite selecting rice and Nan with order , not interested no apology no assistance other than to blame us - threw it in the bin - have used numerous times not now what’s happened to some customer service

Best curry I have had for a long time! I went in and ordered a chilli garlic lamb, pilau rice and a plain naan and I only had to wait for 10 minutes! Excellent value for money and would highly recommend.

Just ordered a chicken dish from here and it chicken bone bone in it. I was coking for ages now my throat is sore from the chicken bone. I'll never get anything from here again

Ordered a prawn chasni pizza which arrived like warm/cold. Chips were soggy and tasteless, really poor quality chips. Chips were also cold on arrival. Wouldn’t recommend.

Whoever, made the hoggie wraps tonight 15/12/2021 they were terrible,as a regular customer, they were the worst I've had. Dry kebab meat, obviously yesterday's, no spicy onions, hardly any melted cheese on chips, a tiny drip of sauce, and even the wrap was hard around the edges. Very disappointing 😞

Amazing food. Would 100000% recommend if you want great curry and rice! The chicken is great and its actually quite cheap!

wasn't going to order from here again as never on time and arrives cold, however against my better judgment gave them another chance. 40 min later than advised. ,arrived cold so chicken pakora is wasted .Lamb byriani a big disappointment very small pieces of lamb and very little of it. This place started of good but sliding down hill fast. Was offered 20% discount on next order but most of this order is in the bin

Ordered lamb tikka bhoona with boiled rice and fried chicken special with fried rice arrived with two boiled rice the batter on the chicken was more like bread crumb and the lamb was so tough it was inedible won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered chicken tika masala - desert levels of sweetness and an odd colour , chicken had an unpleasant sme Ordered mince paratha - have you ever picked something up to have a bite and as you lift towards you're mouth you immediately put it back down because it's got a funky smell , this was that moment . They need to remove the word Indian from the business name , nothing Indian like in my meal .

Had 2 deliveries from here, fantastic being able to get 8” pizza. Both times food has been lovely, delivery on time and early, delivery driver, courteous and friendly.

Food from New Indian Express is good. But, even a chicken korma is nippy! Please note this and try and see what you can do to solve this. Other than that, it is great.

Ordered a delivery last night for the 1st time. What a meal, so tasty and flavoursome. Would highly recommend. We ordered quite a few different dishes and each one was delicious. Will defiantly be ordering again from here.

I have been going here for 2 years, never had a bad meal. They will Tailor the food to your taste if you ask, nothing is to much trouble. The pizza are really good as well. Definetly worth a visit, always busy.

Waiting 55 minutes on our order, ok, might have been busy but it was not worth the wait....burgers were overdone & dont think you could call it a salad, soggy roll, soggy chips & very soggy onion rings ...for nearly £18, definitely not good. Never again.

Absolutely shocking. Took my money, and 4 hours and 45 mins later I’m still waiting on my food. Phoned 16 times and phone just rung out. Absolutely ruined Christmas Day. I want my money back.

Ordered last week and although 40 late it was really good. Ordered same meal 2night and completely different. Not particularly appetizing and 20 late.

Enjoy the food from here always tates great offers a large selection you can order in shop online [just eat]or over the phone. They deliver plus you can order then pick up your self. The only slight down side is its a cash only in the shop no visa or debit available. But it takes them online.

Really dissapointed with meal delivered Sat 11th April. Was well over an hour till delivery and food was stone cold. Lamb dish was tough as leather into the bargain.Tried to contact them via direct message but havent bothered to reply! Wont use again and neither will friends and family. Dreadful service.

Placed 2 separate orders for 2 address, charged delivery charges for both order as expected. Both orders delivered to the same address with items missing, tried to call up twice about it, call answered and hung up on, 2nd call answered and made excuse couldn’t...

I’ve had a few meals from here & they’ve always been really good. Tonite I tried chicken shaslic & it was amazing. Beautiful tandoori chicken & the curry sauce that came with it was delicious-will definitely be having this again!

Good quality food, service is good. Unfortunately didn't get my order correct as there was no cheese on nan bread like I asked for. TV was playing in the background with a very swearing violent movie playing. Glad I didn't have a child with me as it was only 17.15 pm.

Used this takeaway twice recently and can't fault it. Ordering online was very easy and delivery both times within the stated time. The portion sizes are very good - the regular size of bhaji's does 2 adults.

Tried this place tonight and I’m really happy to say it really is awesome. I love Indian food and this ranks amongst the best I’ve had anywhere in fife.

Order was 25 mins late so phoned to enquire and was met with excuses and offered £1.50 delivery discount! Asked for refund and conversation turned aggressive. Don't use this lot folks, Real Spice and Sizzlers are much more professional.

Disappointed this evening. Ordered a low fat starter and ended up with a punjabi chat which isnt even on this menu. Phoned to complain i had the wrong starter and the conversation was heading towards an arguement. Main was good pity they dont recognise and own up to a mistake after all we are all human.

Been a few times now and always impressed with the quality of the food. Different dishes do taste different, sometimes subtly but definitely noticeable. Most recently had very good onion bhajis and chicken tikka bhotti khanna, all delicious. Unlike many takeaways, the guys here clearly care about the quality of the food they produce.

Have had several carryouts from here. My wife is quite fussy, but the staff and chef here listened to what she likes and made a curry to suit her taste. The portions are a good size and everything is cooked fresh using good quality ingredients....
