Fatima in Fife

After good recommendation from a friend, pre-ordered evening meal at 2.30pm to be delivered at 5.30pm approx. Delivery arrived over an hour late and tepid. Over priced and below par food in terms of flavour and quality. Would not recommend and will not be a returning customer.

The food was good but we waited 2 1/2 hours and were sworn at over the phone because we told them our order was late and they told us our order didn’t exist, we were told “f*** you”. Absolutely ridiculous customer service, 5 times I tried to explain our situation and 5 times I was spoken over. After contacting JustEat suddenly our food was going to be “on its way” as our food order was “just put in by justeat” which was obviously not true as they previously told us our order didn’t exist.

Best Indian meal I have ever tasted. 10 out of 10👍 Dicks top tip … phone it in and then go and collect the meal yourself that way you will avoid any long delivery delays as they are extremely busy

Food was poor, delivery was very late, & when queried, their excuse was due to heavy traffic. When is there ever heavy traffic in Glenrothes especially around 8, 9 pm. Won't be ordering again.

Food good as always however was barely warm, delivery was absolute shocking as always ordered at 5.20 didn't get it till 8.30, waiting over 3 hours for a delivery is unacceptable

Placed order at 1905 order was to arrive between 2025-2045 when this time had passed I contacted just eat who have a new delivery time of 2120 Order still not arrived at this time. I waited until 2130 requesting money back for order on app. Then called restaurant who said they had been very busy with orders and food would arrive soon. Food finally arrived at 2149, then had message this morning to say that refund not given as driver was stuck in traffic. Absolutely disgraceful excuse !!

It was only ten minutes late but that took two hours from ordering to delivery. Needs to employ more people to ensure delivery doesn’t always take 2 hours or over … great food just a shame the service wasn’t the same!

Burger was fine but the Pizza was inedible. All the toppings and cheese were badly burnt. Dough was dry and chewy. Totally inedible. I've never had to bin a Pizza before.

As always my food was excellent, the chicken Balti is amazing. Collection was a little delayed but this was purely down to collections and deliveries being very VERY busy and I didn’t mind at all waiting that little bit longer. I’ve being getting takeaways from Fatima for over 22 years, I love seeing that they are still so busy, credit to the owners and the chefs, Fatima is great takeaway and highly recommend it.

Ordered in advance. Everything excellent but unfortunately the kurma had pineapple instead of mango, still tasted good though 😊

Twice been let down with non delivery of specific items. Never got replacement and never got money back. I used to love this place but now I've lost faith in it. Their customer care is just not good.

I used to love this place. Last couple of times I've asked for items and never received them. Loss of money and food is getting a little bit on the poor side. I'm sorry but I don't think I'll be back here again.

Ready earlier than expected. Got a text when it was ready. Delicious food.

Placed order 18.20 expected delivery 20.00 to 20.20, no sign of food called 20.40 to be told it was with driver and to expect it shortly. No sign of food by 20.55 tried to call again kept getting cut off tried 4 times still got cut off after 4 rings. Food eventually arrives 21.05, 2hrs 45mins after ordering. Food is cold spend next 20 mins heating food up, tried to call and complain still no answer won't be ordering again!!!

Always order from fatima great food wouldn't go anywhere else

Almost 2 hour wait for a delivery isn't great service. Was 60 minutes when I ordered abd changed to 90 when order confirmed. I would advise more delivery drivers

Since I have been told about the fatima takeaway I have not went anywhere else.

One of the Best meals I have ever had and that's including home made potato and cauliflower

Asked for a specific collection time, given a later one and food was not available until 25 mins after that. Disappointing.

The special chicken karachi was dripping with oil and the pineapple fried rice was dry.

Food was late and cold. Called takeaway twice, but the person on the phone was rude and not helpful. Lied and blamed it on his driver. Driver could not apologise enough, but it was not her fault. Really felt for her

Another disaster from the Fatima. Food arrived over 3 hours after it was ordered and it was cold. If you want to keep the food for the next day and heat it up on your own, then this is the takeaway for you.

Tried out Fatima's on a whim and I was very impressed and happy with the food. I will definitely be ordering from here again and hopefully it will become my standard place for Indian food.

Got two meals with sides of chips and Nan bread. Portion of chips was small, but got extra rice it seemed. Tbf the food was excellent, probably the best I've had in Fife.

Both delivery and collection is horrendous. Can often wait two hours on delivery. Such a good place, if only they could get this in order

My mum placed an order here a few nights ago on just eat and waited 3 hours for delivery and when she called up the woman at the other end of the phone was rude and said to her, we are busy you just need to wait. The food turned up and it was cold so my mum phoned to complain and the woman hung the phone up on her. If the work load is too much for them then she should either higher more staff or come off just eat. Very very poor service. Won’t order here again and going by some of other comments this sorta thing happens regularly. Not a way to run a business.

I gave this restaurant another chance.this is the second time I’ve order from them.the first time I wanted 3 hours and my order tonite I waited almost 3 hours.and the woman on the other end of the phone was so rude like she wasn’t intreasted wat I had to say.so I won’t be rating them.and I will never order from them again.so 👎🏻 down for me.also the food was cold.

Placed an order 5.45pm was quoted delivery between 19.20-19.40 food arrived 20.40 absolutely disgraceful, phoned at 20.20 and was told short of drivers in that case they should not be taken bookings. No apology from man that answered the phone. Will never order from here again

Ordered for delivery at 7pm arrived at 6.25 so was a bit unimpressed by that as wasn’t ready for dinner by then but not too much of an issue, food was hot and fresh. Enjoyed everything we ordered and reasonable compared to other Indian takeaways. Will Order again

After they accepted the order they called me over an hour later to tell me they had no lamb (this was after I'd received a text to say my food was on its way) spent ages trying to get in touch with 'just eat' to cancel the order, to then discover that after paying over £12 that I'll only get back 9.75... so no food at all and I'm still out of pocket... absolutely disgraceful!!!!!!

I live half a mile away but 90 minutes plus for delivery and it was lukewarm, pity because the pizza was very nice, pity it took that long considering the distance but I'd definitely have the pizza again.

If you’re prepared to wait for excellent food this is the place.
