I ordered two portions of lamb nihari which was brilliant but not happy with the naans it’s not the first time it happened i ordered for garlic naan and it was simple naan and not even properly cooked was like rubber so hard to break I’ve been there customer for than one year now but now it’s time not to order from this place ever again because they don’t treat there customers with respect and being fair all they care about is money not the Quality so Goodbye new Taj Mahal for good

Was desperate for food that I didn't have to cook. Last place open only take cash had to order online while in the shop to use my debit card... What an absolute faff

A pub that's normally used with regular people it gets busy at the weekends probably like other pubs the sometimes have a band on a Saturday night but for me personally it's a bit crowded I would recommend the pub as the locals are always willing to have a chat

Early birthday celebrations booked a month in advance. Turned up and placed was closed. No contact or information. Disappointing and will never return.

Got a takeaway, was looking forward to it has I hadn't tried this place for a few years and remember it being ok in the past but it took ages to arrive and when it did the pizza wasn't hot and the traditional vegi curry was made with what appeared to be cheap frozen stuff. I'm finding lots of takeaways are doing this in the past few years as a cheaper, lazy option to the more traditional potato and cauliflower we used to get, I mean c'mon. What does it take to peel and prepare a few fresh ingredients? The sauce was just over spicey hot, no real flavour. I love spicey food but didn't find this enjoyable at all. Poor quality,.Won't be ordering again.

Este cocinero puede cocinar! El restaurante puede ser muy cálido si el sol brilla y puede ser cegador si se sienta en la posición equivocada. Probé la terrina de pollo estaba bien, pero no el mejor. El pastel de bistec y haggis es para morirse al igual que las sopas del chef del día. El desayuno en el plato principal estaba bien, sin embargo el tocino era demasiado salado y tenía mejores bollos de patata pero los mejores huevos escalfados. La comida en este restaurante es lo más destacado del hotel y recomendaría comer allí si se hospeda o pasa.

Really like the Caffè Nero coffee. This store is great. Clean and comfortable. Staff are great as well. Lovely.

Been going there for years and never been disappointed. Always look forward to a carry out after being away on holiday

Had a delivery last night, lovely food. Delivered hot and very tasty. Really nice to have a proper kebad on a pitta instead of the chip shop type where the salad is separate. Looking forward to ordering soon. Would highly recommend.

I ordered the chicken tikka meal via uber eats, which comes with rice, curry sauce, salad and chicken tikka pieces. On Uber eats it did not have a selection of curry sauce (I assumed it was just original plain curry sauce), however I left a note on the order if they could change it to a korma sauce as I like that better. Once arrived the curry was kindly changed to a korma sauce which I can only thank for. The chicken tikka pieces were perfectly cooked with a perfect chargrilled taste with the contrast of tandoori spice, Overall 9.5/10 for the chicken. Moving onto the curry, the korma had a creamy texture and was the perfect consistency for me, 9/10 for the Korma. The rice and salad was what you would expect from an Indian takeaway, no complaints there. I had heard good things about this restaurant/takeaway by word of mouth and this order had fulfilled my expectations. The order was also delivered by the New Taj Mahal personally and the employee was kind and approachable. Overall 8.5/10 for my experience and meal from this lovely place.

Have eaten in here many times. We have visited The Dundas Diner in Dundas Street in Grangemouth many times. We have no complaints regarding the service, cleanliness or food received. Have recommended this establishment to friends & family

Popped in here recently for lunch as I had heard it was new, although I think it may just have new ownership. It’s a lovely down to earth cafe run by friendly people. There’s loads of space to move around and a good choice of food on the menu. I have no complaints about the place really. It’s slightly away from the main thoroughfare so might be easily missed, but I recommend seeking it out and giving it a try.

This takeaway always shows as available on just eat but now twice we have tried to order, to then get a text saying the restaurant has cancelled the order. It’s a joke. They shouldn’t show as available for orders if they aren’t!

This place has improved enormously since the recent change of name. Best special fish I've ever had in the past 50-odd years.

Was a source of good eats and drinks at reasonable prices and now sadly closed. Was well used by locals and visitors alike but a casualty of high rents and rates. Sadly missed by those who used it every day
