Forth & Co in Falkirk

Early birthday celebrations booked a month in advance. Turned up and placed was closed. No contact or information. Disappointing and will never return.

Had a lovely meal here last night..and can't believe the restaurant wasn't busy. Its a shame they are selling up but would say not to let that put you off booking.

First time here for me, the wife has been before, service second to none, breakfast cooked well and tasty, sets you up for the day, 🍽️ 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We had breakfast and it was delicious. The staff were very nice we would recommend it to other people.

Food wasn't too good,,my wife's main course was off and didn't taste good.

Had lunch twice in this bistro. The fish and chips was very good and the service was quite attentive.

We popped in for some lunch today while shopping up the town. The service was fantastic, we were sat next to the playroom so I could keep an eye on my daughter. Drinks were with us within a few minutes and food shortly after. Our waitress was very polite and friendly and the manager, Michelle was round checking all the tables while we ate. It was nice to see a manager taking so much interest in the customers day. Food was roasting hot, fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back for dinner soon.

Very long wait to even order a drink on arrival - almost 20 mins. Food was mediocre, tortilla in nachos were black from being burned but didn’t send back as starter took 40 mins to come. Then main was fish which was full of bones and overly greasy. Will not be back and we were all of the same opinion. Waitress serving us was lovely though and clearly run ragged. Only two staff for whole place plus also sorting Just Eat orders. Poor overall.

Had dinner booked with friends at Forth and Co. Would like to say it was a great experience but unfortunately not. The young girl that came to take our drinks order stopped halfway through to go and seat another party that had arrived. Eventually once the other party were seated she came back. Only the set menu was available so some of our group were having starters and main while others a main and dessert. The food took a very long time to arrive and was mediocre at best. We had to flag staff down for more drinks throughout the night. When we asked the staff about ordering desert we were told the kitchen had closed. I think abit of staff training is definitely needed here. We were not approached after our mains to ask if we wanted dessert and that the kitchen would be closing so some awareness of this would be helpful. While I can empathise with the issue of being short staffed,having been in that situation myself,it doesn't take away from the fact that those that were serving unfortunately didn't meet our groups expectations and although a good will gesture of removing drinks from the bill was applied, I think we would have preferred to just have had a nicer experience.

Enjoyed a 2 course meal with drinks. Food very tasty especially the steak and sausage pie and the dessert was delicious - tablet cheesecake. Waiter Adam was very personable and helpful. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Had afternoon tea with extra's of the lunch menu. Split pea soup was nice, ceaser salad was nice. Sandwhiches & toasty was tasty. Good place to go for good food.

While the afternoon tea was a disgusting I'll not be back

First time ordering from here. Food was an hour late from delivery time, starters were burnt to a crisp- not sure how you would QC pass these, pizzas were all over the place and stuck to the boxes. Completely inedible and a waste of money.

Nice staff, clean, comfy, modern, and fresh, clean food. Not a greasy breakfast.

Was here last night with a group of friends for a celebration. Booked for 7 o'clock. When we arrived the only waitress that was there wasn't very friendly and didn't bring menus or offer to get us drinks. Eventually we got our drinks and ordered our meals. We got served our meals at 8.30, one and a half hours after arriving. One guy didn't get his because they forgot to cook it, really. We were all finished eating by the time he got his food. The food was mediocre and one of the girls complained. It wasn't even busy so I don't know what the issue was but we all said we will give it a miss in future.

Ale battered Haddock and hand cut fries was a large portion with bread & butter. Steak & Sausage pie. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. Staff were extremely helpful and lovely. Busy but not loud. Thank you to all the team.

We have visited twice since opening. Once with a smaller group and once with a large group. On both occasions, the staff were friendly and efficient. There is a fab range of gorgeous food on offer in a lovely environment. The small soft play area is fab to help occupy restless toddlers!

my wife and I came in for dinner and had an excellent time. we were served by Alan who took really great care of us. i had the Veggie Bob Bon's for a starter which were really nice. we both had the Steak and Sausage pie for our main course which was delicious. my wife had a sticky toffee pudding for dessert which she loved. We will definately be back.

My waitress was emie, she was very polite and served us very fast, great food made our experience brilliant will be back!

Visited forth and co, which was recommended. Was not disappointed. Atmosphere was fab, food was excellent and staff were very welcoming. Couldn't really ask for anymore.

Had to send back my flat iron steak as it was hard to chew. It was replaced after some time and was slightly better...it was suggested the sirloin was a better option which I'm sure it was at £25!! I had lunch the following week to see if I was unlucky with my first visit.A member of my group had to send back a pastrami club sandwich as it was overpowered with mustard and was unpalatable. It was replaced.. The female waiting staff though pleasant, when asked questions of the food did not have full knowledge of the menu nor did they ask if everything was OK with our meals. We had to call them over. We paid and left. No staff member thanked us or said good bye. Sorry but won't be back or recommend this restaurant to friends. Johnstones was sooo much better

We had a great pre-Christmas meal with friends, steak and sausage pie was great, so was the Angus burger. Alan looked after our table and we are very happy with the service provided, will definitely be back! Happy Holidays!

Booked a pre-Christmas dinner for me and my husband. We shared the mussels to start - creamy, delicious and plenty for two. I'm had the miso roast cod for the main which was perfectly cooked with very tasty sides (delicate cauliflower puree and slightly spiced sweet potato and sweet roast carrots). My husband had the craft beer battered fish and chips which I had a wee taste of and it was reeeeally good. Served with bread and butter, much to his delight. I had room for sticky toffee pudding too 😁. All in all a great addition to Falkirk 's dining options - relaxed but smart, convivial, well priced and with good service. We were served by Adam who was attentive,. friendly and efficient. Looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Had the fish and chips, mussels and cod. All well prepared and very tasty. Wine was good and reasonably priced. Our waiter, Adam, was very friendly and helpful. Def be back to try more from the menu.

First time visit as not local to the area but certainly will not be the last. Fantastic food with a even better level of service.

Went in to forth &co this morning to book a table for Sunday afternoon, young guy mumbled something about getting the manager, manager came, didn't say a word, I had to initiate the conversation, asked for a table for Sunday afternoon upstairs, was very rudely told upstairs not guaranteed, just a shame Johnstone's staff still not there, he shouldn't be there.

the place was freezing, waited 35 minutes fir meal to come, place was empty , the waitress should spend more time on the customers than dancing at the bar 🤬, got my drink and food order wrong ?? never be back

Very impressed considering I imagined a few teething problems. Food was perfectly cooked for us both and service from a lovely friendly young girl called Abbie just made the experience even more enjoyable. Keep up the good work Forth and Co!

Had coffee and a cocktail this afternoon ,play area a big no no ,especially as only way to accessible toilet is through it ,that and having smokers standing in door way ,very off putting.very disappointed 👎

I don't think much of the play area to the rear of ground floor....how do disabled customers get to the disabled toilet. Really think customers should be told to move away from doors when going out to smoke.
