New Taj Mahal in Falkirk

First time ordering out of here and wont be the last. Great tatse, warm and fresh. Only 4 star because the tikka masala could have been doing with a bit more chicken in it. Cheese and garlic nan was perfect. Other than that it was great.

Lovely food and friendly staff. The service was lovely and the atmosphere was lovely.

I ordered chicken Tandoori which wasn’t edible. It had a foul smell and old one. The Garlic nan was decent. Also had Nulli Nihari which wasn’t upto standard - it was bland and had no flavour. This was my second time having nihari , the first time was really good, why ordered again.

Excellent food and service ! Highly recommend. We went at lunchtime and will be back again soon.

Best Desi Nashta. Halwa puri, nan chane, aloo nan and desi chae. We stop for Sunday breakfast. And it's worth it. Reasonable price with full desi taste.

We got off the train from Liverpool very late and this was the first place we seen. Oh my word and what a little find this place is. The 2 men working there were so lovely and attentive. The food was freshly cooked and absolutely beautiful. I had Chicken Pakora for my starter and it was big enough to share. I 💯 % recommend this place and it's great value.

Had a chance to do breakfast here today, and it was worth it. Tried halwa puri, sweet lassi, fries, and desi tea. It was true Pakistani taste and is better than places in Glasgow. I would try some more dishes, but it is recommended based on stuff I tried. Other options available are nihari, payee, channay naan etc. You can try here as well.

Together, they create a harmonious culinary journey that delights the senses and leaves a lasting impression. It's been my 4th breakfast and I wish I could eat it every day.

Went tonight! Was a super nice! The owner was super kind and gave nice advice! We loved the food, very cozy and quiet place ! Super adviced for a dinner out!

Best place in the town for delicious and well cooked pakistani and indian food. Staff are friendly and lovely very cooperative and sweet Clean tables and everything spick and span inside Highly recommended for everyone around

Absolutely disgusting....curry was mostly oil and it had spilled all over the bag and soaked the bread contents so the full dinner was not edible. absolute waste of money. Disgusting !! Moon light kitchen is the best in this area by miles and miles

Absolutely disgusting...ordered a garlic chilli curry, the curry is not edible its a tub full of oil, I have never seen anything like this! It was that bad the oil leaked all over the bag and ruined the contents of the bag. I wish I could give minus....that was not food they handed over. Its like theyv put the discarded oil from the pans in a tub and gave us that instead of a curry!!!!

Ordered a takeaway for the first time. Food was excellent. Very authentic. The lamb curry and spring rolls in particular were delicious. Best Indian in Falkirk hands down. I can see this place becoming one of our regular takeaways. Give it a try :-)

So tasty. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but definitely worth crossing the road for. I had paya (lamb soup-curry) with nan - the fluffiest & freshest I've had in a long time. My companion had paneer then chicken dhansak - both lovely and fresh. All served with a friendly smile. This was my third visit - and I'll be back.

One word, delicious. Will definitely order from here again.

I have ordered food from here few times and everytime I am impressed. Food is always warm and flavourful.

I have tried multiple Indian restaurants and takeaways across Falkirk, Edinburgh and Glasgow but this is by far the best! The food was very high quality and flavoursome, so much so that there was not a single leftover. The employees were so lovely and food was prepared promptly. 100% will be going back multiple times. Amazing.

Value for money is not there at all. Seekh kebab roll had just a single thin meat skewer: for £8.50… that’s STEEP. Meat Samosa’s were best I’ve ever had, but again x2 for £6.50… albeit there was more weight to them than there was the kebab roll! Food was brilliant though!! You can tell it is all fresh and also authentic

Has the most amazing great food here. Truly authentic home made with fresh herbs and spices. The best Indian food I have had in a long long time. Freshly prepared so order small starter while you wait. Your tastebuds will be truelly awakened by the culinary delight this restaurant has to offer all done to perfection. I will definitely be back.

Had a delivery tonight which came quickly after ordering and all items were hot. Everything tasted delicious but I can’t help but feel a little ripped off. We ordered ‘poppadoms’ on the menu for £1.45 but only received 1. We ordered both veg and chicken pakora but was disappointed there was no sauce along with this. The tandoori meal explains that rice, sauce and salad are included but the rice included is a very small portion and the chicken tikka tandoori only had 8 small pieces of chicken. The chef’s special of Chicken Karahi was absolutely delicious and we both thoroughly enjoyed this. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the chicken pakora, as we felt it had a bit too much batter and wasn’t crispy.

Very authentic indian-pakistani home cook food. Approved as Malaysian tongue . Having briyani and lamb karahi. Halal Alhamdulillah.. parking at the back of the restaurant 1 hour free parking .

We tried their menu, very authentic original way of cooking curry & spices. Definitely suit the Asian taste bud. Recommended.

I bought a lamb shank curry, vegetable pakora, plain Nan and a pilau rice. There was a cm of oil on top of the curry sauce, so I just picked the lamb out. The lamb was tender, rice tasty, nan bread tasted salty and looked shop bought. The pakora looked good, and was crisp on the outside but really doughy and inedible.

Very delicious food. Very kind people. The price was good and quantity was very good. Quality of the food perfect.

I should have read the reviews first and I would have realised that this is an underperforming atrocious establishment. Moreover I ordered a biryani and literally got a chicken curry, the chef must have thought I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Does not justify the prices and does not live up to its promises. Save your money, try else where

Pakora a little soggy. Chips terrible. Curry bland. Garlic naan was tasteless. Unfortunately this will be my first and last ordwr from taj mahal

We came for the brunch and enjoyed everything. We had halva poori, chicken and naan, and chana naan. Also desi chai and mango lassi. Nihari to take away. Everything was authentic and delicious. Flavoursome without being overpowered by heat. Great service too by the two uncles. They were lovely with my children as well. We'll definitely be back.

Food is really good, I tried halwa puri it was not oily or heavy food. Taste is very authentic like real Pakistani food. Other good thing about food its not spicy, I mean spicies are spot when my English or other international friends are invited for Asian meal I will keep spicies same. Must try place.

Went along for desi nashta on sunday and have to say the food quality was really good and prices are very reasonable. Enjoyed it and we will return

Just tried this restaurant for the first time. Absolutely superb!! I cannot recommend them enough, and I will definitely be back.

First time visiting with my family.. had the breakfast, different selections to choose from. portions were excellent,very filling and not heavy. Child friendly and the tea is a must.. love desi chai 😀. Will definitely go back. Excellent price for what you eat.
