Omar in Falkirk

So we ordered so food, looked great online. This partly helped with our choice. The chicken pakora was over cooked or quite frankly cooked for the third time. Ordered a chilli nan as the image online looked Devine. Nah, my 5 year old could have made more convincing “chilli” nan.Lastly the chicken tikka pizza we ordered was clearly just a cheese pizza with one pizza of chicken tikka. See images attached. Decided for urself.Absolute joke of a takeaway.

So!! My partner & I have a Omar takeaway most Friday nights Usually fantastic pizza chips etcLast Friday night it was awful!!!Waited forever for it - guy on phone was quite rude too And eventually it arrived Different pizza, cool not hot! Chips very pale hardly cooked & dinner kebab meat was like rubber l, very overcooked & extremely dryMost if the order went into the bin (unusually) Now! I’m sure this place has been taken over I did message direct to complain but no reply (no surprise)Actually very disappointed, need to find a new Friday night takeaway now

Just had a carry out from the Omar our third since lockdown and once again it was amazing, and delivered on time. Thanks again to the staff who are providing such a great service.

I live in Dewsbury England now and we have an abundance of Indian Rest here but nothing ever will compare to the food at the Omar ... After moving from Denny 10 years ago there are just somethings you miss and the Omar is top of the list we visited on saturday 7th Feb and it didn't disappoint we had our usual dishes like we have always had since the Omar opened all I can say is AMAZING when you opening a new one in Dewsbury

Being very fussy about food I cannot fault the quality of food, staff were excellent, good sized portions, prices were good. Will definitely be returning

Enjoyed the cuisine as usual, can't go wrong with a meal here, staff are very friendly and service is excellent. Decor is lovely and prices are very reasonable, all in all, a very good dining experience.

Good value for money,good choice of food , nothing is too much bother for Omar and his father , to have a bit of banter with the clientele, hence the reason my wife and I go on a weekly basis . Also we get the odd carry out on the occasional Saturday

Very nice Indian restaurant, decor much as expected but the food was really good, good choice of drinks and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend it.

Best Indian food ever really friendly staff. Really good lager. The food is quite authentic they only use quality meat and fresh ingredients. Only complaint I have to ask them to make there vindaloo hotter for me lol.

We had a take away for 6 of us. I have never had a munch box before but thoroughly recommended. A lot of food in a pizza box.. Calzone was also very tasty and huge!

I have been getting food from the omar for some time and have not got a bad thing to say about them the service I get is impeccable when ordering for delivery they always say half an hour but arrive in about 10 minutes. I have never had any bad food from the Omar and in reply to a previous post there's no point comparing the food to what you have experienced in India because what you get in restaurants or takeaways here has been dreamed up for the uk market and is completely different to what they would cook in India.

A family-owned business where the food is excellent and the service is great. Can't beat it! The restaurant is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.

Tuvimos una última noche para llevar como el que solemos usar estaba cerrada por las vacaciones. Algunos años ya he utilizado el Omar y después de la última necesidad tuve que pedir a mí mismo por qué. La comida era precioso, el tamaño de la porción era sabores bueno era muy buena, el servicio rápido y amable. Sin duda volveremos.

My friend n me went in sit n look view clean good waiter is great friendly polite be happy we order mushroom pakora big one yummy ok I have lamb jaipuri n rice with peshwasi nan oh great my friend have lamb danask with rice n nan we really enjoy to eat no problem you n partner try go it worth it fabulous love it give them 4 star

Este es un buen reasurant buena comida y el personal es muy servicial y agradable. Buena relación calidad-precio y muy limpio. Nunca tuvimos una mala comida. Recomiendo este lugar para una comida.

We have had takeaway meals from the Omar delivered for years and our daughter takes visiting friends there for meals. We have never been disappointed with the quality and value.The pakora with the "pink" sauce is lovely, as is my personal favourite - the mixed Biryani.You won't be disappointed.

We were in Denny for an overnight stop en-route to Aberdeen, staying in the Bar209 B&B down the road.We needed a place to eat for our evening meal and Omars seemed to fit the bill.We made a reservation by phone and three of us arrived in the well presented, clean and welcoming first floor restaurant.We were quickly shown to our table by the very friendly staff, drinks and popadoms were served whilst we perused the extensive menu.We all had starters, a main course with rice and they were all excellent.If you are in the area then you'll not be disappointed with a meal at Omars.Great food and great value.

This is a great eating experience with a full and rich menu certain to satisfy even the most jaded of palates. With plates heaped with food, no one will ever leave feeling hungry. This is a family enterprise where everyone is welcoming and friendly.I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for that special occasion (my birthday), lunchtime treat or family get together.

We went to Omar at short notice and they fitted us in. Service and food were superb. A great selection of Asian food well cooked and well presented.The food was good value and the service friendly and efficient. We have a couple of questions that were answered quickly.We'll be back.

Been eating here for years. Staff are lovely, great range on menu. Great for family occasions too. Welcoming atmosphere and good prices too.

Very nice restaurant in Denny town centre well worth a visit. Food and service is of the highest standard. comfortable seating and very attentive service with a good range of drinks. Cobra beer on tap. The take away service which we have used on many occassions is fast and very well packed. Recommend the Tandoorri mixed grill. I have never managed to finish it and a doggy bag service is available.

I haven't visited for at least a year, as I did not enjoy my dining experience. I would not recommend this restaurant.

This is the first time we have had a meal in the new Omar since it moved from the old premises although we have had takeaways. The food and service is superb. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. We went as a family of 3 and everyone enjoyed their meals. The chicken tikka korma is the best have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Eat here quite often, food excellent & service amazing. Left my gloves last week at lunchtime & when I phoned the restaurant to tell them they delivered them to my house later threat day. How's that for service?

The food was perfect, tasty and fresh. The new location which is upstairs is ok, but cleanness of the place and the service was great, Shantiii.

Iv only been once but my friends use this often , my experience the food was lovely & toilets clean ,not for disabled as its upstairs .

What a waste of money. Food was realy bad and not worth the money,our complaints were shrugged off .the rice came out of packet,the cultcha was the same I saw in wait rose ,the curry sauce was liquidised beyond belief,I go on holiday to India so I know what I'm talking about,it's time the Omar got itself sorted out , we won't be back EVER.
